I decided to get the BLT sandwich because although I'm not a fan of tomatoes, I wanted a classic sandwich not realizing the bacon was toasted coconut!!! How cool! I got a little sick eating it... you know that feeling when you eat too much cheesecake and feel sick cuz it's too much? Yeah that feeling. So I gave up eating the coconut and decided to just eat the bread and overall this sandwich is 10/10 chefs kiss* When we ordered drinks, I took the last pressed juice available for the day. I wanted to get the Energizer but next time we'll come earlier. My coworker tried the sunrise smoothie and she said it tasted really healthy. I felt so healthy after eating my food. Next time I want a coffee I'll come by here to try it along with their juices they have. They do close early at 3 pm so it's better to come early while they have some stock in their fridge. It is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for and in today's economy you pay the price to eat healthier. My total all together was $23! Not bad!! 10/10 would come back here!

You enter the parking from Young street. Nadine had glowing reviews of her purchases and I have to concur with her thoughts about Aunty Gigi's. They have been open for about a month and are in sort of a soft opening. Their smoothies and Acai bowl offerings/pricing are prominently displayed on the wall. The savory offerings, musubis and bentos are not yet listed but some are available. On this day the spam/egg musubi and the Kimbop were available as well as the meat Jun bento. This is a small operation so I had a chance to try the savory orders made as ordered. It was fun talking to Aunty Gigi as she prepared my order. She is very friendly and easy to converse with. Her "cafe" is compact, very clean as she totally gutted out the space brought in new equipment and fixtures. I took home the Kimbop, meat Jun and acai bowl, and also brought home one of the musubi to try, compliments of Aunty. The savory offerings are on the counter. When I went the first hour they were open Aunty was in the process of making the savory offerings. The smoothies and acai bowls are of course made to order. Delicious offerings close to Ala Moana shopping center.

Though it's clearly noted with a huge image of it right on the huge window you wouldn't know it if you viewed her instagram page @auntygigiscafe with posts of her bentos lol! Yes Aunty makes bentos as well though on this day it was just some spam musubis. Not to be deterred I got Gigi's Special Bowl this medium size at $10.99 was packed with so much yummies (açaí sorbet, strawberry, banana, blueberry, granola, honey, kale and spinach) I'm assuming the veggies were blended in the sorbet but I couldn't really tell but it was so refreshingly delicious ! What a delightful sight aunty talked how she sold and closed her downtown location and opened this one, a super tiny nook she had some friends hanging out and accompanied her for support, as she started on my order she finds this adorable cup with little polka dots and says "I give you this cute cup!" Supporting small and local is just the delight of the neighborhood and I have my chiropractor and orthopedic doctor just steps away so you know I'll be back here for another visit to Aunty Gigi's!! It's not just her smoothies and açaí bowl that's healing but the delightful joy she brings to you as her genuine kindness is the real pot of gold! Thank you!

We were staying in Waikiki for a wedding at the Queen Kapiolani hotel. We happened upon this place since it's so close by. I saw that the toppings were unlimited which is my favorite thing ever! It doesn't say in the menu, but the boosters are extra. So that was a little confusing but that's the only thing. I added vegan protein and it was $3 extra. I asked if the protein or collagen was mixed in but they said it was just a layer. They offered to mix it for me though which was so nice!! Then they have all the toppings shown in the front so you can see what you want. I got chia seed pudding, peanut butter, strawberries, blueberries, and banana. I also got hunny the first day but it's actually already sweet so I didn't get it the second day and it was still so good. It's a cute little shop that has seating if you want to stay. I wish I had one closer to me but maybe it's better if now since I would go every day haha. But I would totally recommend and will be back if I'm ever close by again.

Although Aloha Sugarcane Juice has fresh pressed can juice like you will get in Vietnam but made fresh here in Hawaii and many other different fresh drinks and smoothies, I didn't opt for that, next visit. I have to share that the mango tapioca was super refreshing and so good, I never had mango with tapioca ever- usually mango with sticky rice. The cost for this is $5.50 comes in a bigger cup than the normal size. I must come back for more! I never had mango at all this Summer so this was perfect! It brought back memories of when I tried to make tapioca, during covid times, it was not simple, I boiled too tapioca, I didn't follow directions, I made a mess. For me, better to purchase it, hehe. I simply parked right beside the trailer which is super convenient as parking is the challenge in the area, and ordering the açaí bowl is basically the same as any other places are you choose your base, size and the topping sets which I did...OG Acai, Manini Size, Da Aloha Krew Special (Strawberry, Banana, Blueberry, Granola and Honey) the Manini (small) size is $10 and depends of the toppings are additional which Da Aloha Krew Special is +$1.50. As of course it's all made to order but it was a very short wait and my bowl and this Manini is a very perfect size as it's filled to the brim this gorgeous bowl is very Special indeed!
