I reviewed this pizzeria several years ago because the pizza was so good and the delivery so prompt. This year's visit to Ogunquit had me ordering pizza again for delivery. I'm very pleased to say that their pizzas are still the best! Delivery was again prompt and the pizza arrived piping hot. The toppings were generous and the crust crisp. Its a small little eatery, the food is good. Its located right in the center of town. The pizza is so good, the chicken parm was ok, nothing to grand. It takes a while to get your food but the pizza is so fresh. read more

We were heading to the beach for sunset so opted for a quick and easy meal. So glad we chose La Pizzeria! We ordered and they delivered the food right to the hotel room door in under 30 minutes! I had the portobello salad and it was large and delicious! Also ordered the La Pizzeria special pizza which had good flavor. It was ok, took an order to go. Placed order on line. They did not contact me when the order was ready. Said an hour, but in 45 minutes I decided to check and it was ready. What a great way to wrap up the day at the beach. Walked into town and was greeted with a friendly hello by the young lady working the podium at the bottom of the stairs. How nice. That brought us in. We went up the stairs and greeted by the owner who sat us at a nice corner table on the porch. What a beautiful day to sit and watch people walking by. Ordered delivery from here one evening when I didn't feel like going out. Despite its controversial nature, I've always been a fan of Hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple). Fun fact: Hawaiian pizza, despite its name, doesn't originate from Hawaii or even anywhere in the US, but from a pizzeria in Canada! So for the haters, send your hate up north. :) The delivery was prompt (less than 30 minutes) and the pizza was still quite warm when we took it out of the box. The crust was nice and soft (but not too soft) and the pizza had the right amount (aka: the amount that I like) of cheese and tomato sauce. Not bad for cheap, delivery pizza! Pulled into Ogunquit on a rainy Tuesday. Didn't feel like walking far for dinner so opted for the closest restaurant. Glad we did. Called in an order for a bacon onion pizza to go which we haven't had in at least ten years. Ordered Chicken Alfredo for my wife and a Lobster Roll for myself. Her dish was in a small tin and had chopped chunks of bland chicken, in PLAIN Penne. The Alfredo sauce was a little bit of creamy butter soup on the bottom. My Lobster roll was on a hot dog bun and very overpriced especially for the area . It was served with plain ruffles chips. Our total was $38 and some change not including tip. For the cherry on top... We were both ill until morning. Quick service and attentive staff! We will ordered the bruschetta, with cheese, a calzone and spaghetti. The bruschetta was the best part! It's a simple cheese bread with the tomato mixture. The lobster pizza here is seriously so amazing!! I had it once and haven't looked back! We love how cheesy and how much meat is on it, the delivery guy is also really nice and works his ass off driving around on his motorcycle. Would 10/10 suggest trying this place out! read more

We were told it would be 45-60 min, no biggie. An hour fifteen in, I called and was told it would be to us any minute. An hour thirty minutes, in I was told it should be to us within ANOTHER 30 min (and that puts it at 2hrs for delivery and every restaurant in town would be closed, including them). When I asked if she could contact the driver who supposedly had our pizza, she said she didn't have that info. Asked about paying full price for a 2hr delivery and she said to wait and see what the driver is doing with our pizza before we talk discounts. We had a Ceasar salad (crisp, not overly dressed), house Chianti, a Margherita pizza, and cheese with garlic pizza. The pizza won't transport you to New Haven, nor the wine list to Paris (or Portland for that matter) but it's good for coastal Maine - more than "serviceable." Speaking of service, staff were attentive on a very busy night and turned the tables over efficiently without making us feel rushed. We ordered the Lobster Pizza and LaPizzeria Special for pickup. Seemed like an extremely busy night as it took at least 15 minutes to get through to someone and pickup was 45 minutes. The Lobster Pizza was absolutely delicious. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was and am happy we got a large. The Special was ok. We really did not like the sausage and ended up pulling it off before eating. It seemed really cheap and rubbery. The remainder of the pizza was good though and we managed to crush two large pizzas by 5 people. Overall we would come back again and either order two lobster pizzas or try another specialty pizza. read more

Ogunquit on a Friday night is impossible to drive around so it was takeout for me on my first night in town. Perusing my delivery options I came upon this place. Menu: Meatball sandwich and a Caesar salad. Both were delivered quickly and upon unwrapping the package i found both to be packaged well including utensils. The advertise their meatballs are homemade and they surely are. The roll was soft and chewy good and it complemented the meatballs. Probably one of the best meatball sandwiches I've eaten. For our recent vacation trip to Ogunquit, we wanted to order food from a restaurant that provided delivery. With the ongoing pandemic and recent surge from the Delta variant, we were worried about eating inside a restaurant. Thankfully LaPizzeria provided both good food and delivery. The most disappointing factor of my experience in this restaurant was surprising bc Maine is an active state in environmental protection. This pizza joint had obviously been through a new remodel on the inside... Yet they were serving their drinks in PLASTIC cups and straws... This place was average at best. The meatball mozzarella pizza looked good but had no flavor. The italian wings were okay but over powered with rosemary and had no other flavor. My family was a party of six we were seated within average time I alone had 3 cups and 3 straws. My party of six totaled to 18 cups and straws... How many do they go through in ONE DAY? 1000+? Plus they were not refilling them. I asked the manager on duty "why they did not have reusable drink containers" he replied with "we can refill your cup if you'd like" and walked away. Completely avoiding and missing the context of my question. With the current environmental crisis we are experiencing across the world, was beyond disappointing and unprofessional. (there will be more human waste than wildlife in the ocean by 2050 at this rate). I regularly visit ogunquit and will not be returning to this business until they put their money into benefitting the environment and not just their looks. read more

Well I'm really just basing this on my pizza, but it was fantastic. Lobster white pizza was filled with lobster chunks on a white-base pizza. Crust was good & chewy, lobster was plentiful, and the oil & cheese were rich and garlicky and dense. The fact that the lobster was cooked with the pizza, rather than served chilled on top after the cooking made a big difference, too. I've had lobster pizza at other places (with a red base) that did it chilled, and it's not really like a pizza that way. Plus, the cost for the lobster pizza was very reasonable. Just a couple dollars more than their regular pizzas. read more
