We have a new 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Longhorn. We received a notice that it had a recall and we needed to take it in for service. So we made an appt and took it to Larry H. Miller in Avondale. We were very impressed with the Service Dept and the fact that we got a free car rental for two days. The truck was returned to us in perfect condition. There was no charge to fix the recall which turned out to be a hose that needed to be replaced. They have free snacks and TV screens that you can also enjoy while you wait. The service department is questionable at best and here is why I say that. My dad had an oil change appointment that took over 5 hours to complete, and he had an appointment mind you. I will say in the end they didn't charge for the oil change however this second incident didn't help. I decided to give them another chance and took my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and some warranty work. At drop off they said they needed it all weekend which wasn't a problem considering the warranty work was time consuming. I have been burned before by dealerships, so I marked my oil filter and tires. Sure enough at pickup they still hadn't done the oil change after having it all weekend, so I wait and wait. Finally, service rep says they are done and goes over the services that I requested. I get my truck and shortly after I noticed they didn't rotate my tires so back to the dealership I went which at this point was closing. I told the service rep who asked if i was sure they didn't rotate them and i told him how I now check the work because I have been charged for services that were not completed in the past. The rep calls the tech who admitted to not rotating the tires because "they looked even". WTF, are you kidding me. The rep then asked if I wanted them rotated which of course I did because I paid for it. They did the rotation and the service tech had the gall to tell me he had to stay late because of my truck. My response was that I was supposed to be gone by now as we'll. I will now have to drive farther for services because this dealership has lost my trust and doesn't deserve yours. UPDATE---still a complete failure as a service department. My dad thought he would try them again against my recommendation. He went for a simple oil change again. He gets home and notices an oil leak. He crawls under his truck and finds the filter wasn't even tightened as he was able to spin it with his hand. Again, they don't deserve your trust!!! read more

We bought our 2026 Dodge Ram Rebel 2500 Diesel in December from Larry Miller Doge Avondale. We have a dent that was there when we purchased the truck, to have them fix it. Neither Sales nor Service have gotten back with us after several calls and in person visits. 2 months ago we received a recall notice for the Trailer Tow Module is out, and we bought this truck to pull a 5th wheel and we CANNOT PULL WITH THIS TRUCK. We've called and visited several times about the recall, and still have no response...and no one gets back with us. WE HAVE TO HAVE THIS FIXED so we can use the truck for what we purchased it for. If you are looking to service your vehicle at this dealership drive as fast as you can to another one. Very poor communication with customer. It appears that they do not even communicate amongst themselves (parts, service rep and technician). Had my 2025RAM Rebel in 3 times for a recall and broken driver seat adjustment lever. After numerous run arounds and inconvenience, they couldn't find the problem or a replacement part promised for the 3rd visit not showing up during my appointment. The problem still exists after the initial recall install. They wanted me to bring it again for the 4th time. Sorry but I will find another dealership to address the recall problem. read more

I had to wait in my truck for almost an hour only to find out, they should not have scheduled me because they don't have the part. And then told me I should call them every month to check on the status. I am STILL waiting to hear from a manager. How about not schedule someone if the part isn't in?!?! I dropped off my vehicle on Saturday, March 28 for an oil change. I picked up the vehicle on Monday, March 30,2026. I drove vehicle for 15-20 minutes when I noticed smoke coming from exhaust as well as the engine bay. I pulled over, turned off engine, inspected oil dipstick and noticed no oil on dipstick. Vehicle check engine light as well as low oil pressure light were both present on dash. Vehicle was towed back to the dealership for inspection. On Tuesday, March 31, 2026 I was informed vehicle was diagnosed with a double gasket oil filter. I requested a compression test on engine as well as a borescope inspection and was denied both. Mechanic claimed oil had no metal shaving so further testing was not necessary as engine was not damaged. Avondale dodge has been the only shop to work on vehicle since I received it back in 2021. If I could give zero stars, I would. The way the situation was handled was poor. read more

I tried to call and no one ever answered. I left voicemails and no one ever returned them. I sent emails and got one response asking for my VIN, which I provided, then never heard back. Their website purposely makes it impossible to get any customer service or return ANYTHING because no one ever answers or responds. Yes, this dealership really is that bad. We all know folks are more inclined to leave a negative review rather than a good one, but hear me out. I brought my Scatpack in last weekend for an alignment, where this all begins. I show up, walk into the Service Department to 3 advisors on their computers - no greeting, no acknowledgment, not even eye contact. I walk up to a shortstack named J.R. Rodriguez who looks like they don't want to be there any more than I don't, and I have to greet this guy 4 times before he acknowledges my presence and says good morning. Boy then asks for my name 3 times, my appointment time. - all while he's on his iPad. This information is infront of you, Goofy. It's 9:00 AM, I'm here for my appointment, probably the name that's next to 9:00 AM on the iPad you're staring at. Use your eyes and brain. Then he indicates my cars oil change will be done soon - what? The car doesn't even need an oil change and I never mentioned or selected anything relevant to an oil change. Fast forward, I pickup my car and there's still an alignment issue - go figure. Avoid short stack advisor J.R. Rodriguez if you actually want services performed on your vehicle. I call the next day for an appointment for a week out. Fast forward to today, I receive a text that my 7:40 AM Appointment will have to be cancelled because "neither the advisor, nor the advisor you worked with are working tomorrow" - so it takes you a week to figure scheduling info out? Or you're telling me you only have 1 advisor and 1 technician for an entire dealership? Whichever, BS. Place is run down, service center is a 6x6 cube in the middle of the service garage, you walk in and get ignored, paid for services that weren't performed. Avoid like the plague, you deserve better. I took my 2022 Ram pickup in for an oil change and tire rotation 2 weeks ago. I was incorrectly told that I needed a new cabin filter and engine air filter, however they were going to charge me approx $99 for each filter. Knowing you can purchase both for 25 bucks, that's what I did. When I replaced the cabin filter I found that they had not replaced the cabin filter cap and put the old filter in upside down. After fixing the issues they caused I walked around the truck and noticed the tire rotation was never done. When I contacted the service dept. I was told to bring it back the next day so the rotation could be done. I took the truck back the next day and the rotation was complete. When driving home I heard a strange noise. When I got home I found they had stripped on my wheel caps one bolt was stripped and another was completely missing. See the pics. I called and was asked to send pictures. I never got a call back but after a second correct email I was told they have a bolt that's not the same but it would work! I will never go back to Larry miller Dodge/Ram ever again. read more

Horrible service, not responsive and never on date scheduled for pickup. I had a very hard time reaching Jorge and was never able to speak to him even when told by people that he was in his office. I dropped my car off on a Monday and got told I was supposed to receive the car in 3-5 days, I never got a call back until the next week on Monday I got told I had to pay more for another part which I was fine with and he told me the car would be done either the same day or the next day being the latest, I never got called until Thursday even after trying to get a hold of Jorge and leaving him voice messages, I picked up the car and the reason I took it in for is still being a problem. I called from out of town, two months in advance to schedule a service appointment for a recall. as soon as I talked to the First Lady on the phone, I could tell there was a negative feeling about her attitude. I then talked to the service manager about it. he apologized, and set me up with an appointment. we had a long discussion about my experience and what I thought about their customer service. when I got to my appointment, I spoke with my " advisor" who quickly showed me he was stricken by the " Can't Do" culture cancer I experienced on the phone. On this visit I brought my car to their service department so they could look over and fix some issues my car was having. I had tried many other dealerships but they were booked out at least for the next couple of weeks. So I called their service department and they were able to see my car the same week I called! On arrival we were greeted and went over concerns and they were able to pull up my information and vehicles warranty, which thankfully after they inspected my car everything was covered under warranty. They were quick to fix the issues and I received my car the next day. I was surprised that it was washed and cleaned! I was not expecting that but it definitely made my day! The staff was so friendly and helpful and they were able to fix all the concerns I had on my car so I'll definitely be back in the future when I need their service department. read more

Ok so I got my truck on a different dealership because for some reason was 10k cheaper than at this location, but I took it here for its first oil change since they are close from my home, I made an appointment and left my truck there, the guy who assisted me called to confirm that it will be done within 20-30 mins and will call me back, we'll that never happened. Can I give 0 stars?! Call up for a recall get told sure no problem service scheduled for Monday at 12:30, no mention of how long it will take. Drop the car off and leave as I have work. Call back at 5:15 to see how longit will be, to be told "oh the girls didn't tell you? It will be a week." Not happy but I suck it up. Call back today, 1 week later, to be told "we haven't gotten to it yet and don't know when it may be. It's 7, 10, 15 days for service." Get told no we don't do loaner vehicles and get transferred to "Tim" voice-mail when I ask to speak to the manager. No title no nothing just "Tim". I Call back on their main line and get transferred to a different voice mail, don't recall the name but "service manager for Avondale dodge" was given as his title. Left a voice mail requesting contact. I will update if the manager has any sort of service orientation but I will never do business with any Larry H Miller companies again, they've all been shady and don't care about anyone. read more

Carrie in the service department is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. As a loyal customer of 10 years I am thinking about leaving because of her continued attitude. I've rearranged my schedule to drop my truck off as SHE instructed multiple times. When you go to take it, she gets rude and says they are short techs and you can't anymore. She should have just made an appointment for me rather than lie. (BTW the 1-800 # on Yelp is not right) I waited 2 weeks for a service appointment to fix my Truck Mirror. They kept my truck overnight because they had to order the part and apparently when it arrived it was broken - "Doubtful" My service advise Donnie told my wife and I that he was reordering a new mirror and would arrive some time that next week and would call us when it arrived to schedule the install. 2 weeks later no call from Donnie and when I called to inquire, he lied and said that we were to bring it back that following Monday - Hmmmm Without an appointment and without confirmation the reorder part had arrived. No that is not honest and you are not taking responsibility for your mistake. I assume you were busy and forgot - Nope Donnie stuck to his story and blamed my wife and I stated we heard wrong....
