This is a drive through establishment. The customer service was good. First bite of the Jake's Hoagie gives the taste of your classic steaks hoagie. The bread was not soggy by the time. Toppings did not out weigh the amount of meat and cheese. Making for a good lunch time treat. read more

I've passed by this location several times. I noticed that they tore down the older building and replaced it right next door in a more modern building with a drive thru. I decided to use the drive thru for this visit. Upon pulling up to the menu the cashier/employee seemed rushed or frazzled. I placed my order and proceeded to the second window. The wait was that long. I was given the cookies first. The cookies were delicious. I had a 1/2 dozen. Chocolate chip, cheesecake, and double chocolate. The cookies were soft and baked perfectly. Now for the main event. I ordered the meatball sub. Ugh, I regret it Everytime I think about it. The flavor was missing in action. The sauce didn't really adhere to the meatballs and I'm not sure why anyone thought it would be a good idea to put foil wrapping paper directly on cheese. Although I'm not sure the cheese would have made a difference. Let's just say unless I'm in the mood for a good cookie and happen to be nearby, that will be the only way I stop here again. read more

Larry's really use to be amazing prior to moving to the new location. (Next door) The new location honestly is really inconvenient, and smaller than the old one. The parking lot holds literally like three cars. I went last weekend to get a sub, apparently two workers were working, and no one else showed up. Which I understand it's not the staffs issue. The portion of meats were pretty disappointing and so thin that it seemed like nothing on the sandwich. What really bothered me was when I was on my way home I realized they never gave me back my change, which was only a dollar or two and I wouldn't have minded if they didn't just assume and kept it. So that kinda bothered me, and I didn't get a receipt either. When I got to the window I had to also ask for a receipt. Just a little disappointed in this new location and the practices. read more

Long time Larry's fan but I'm done with this location! I went last weekend and ordered a Turkey Cubans (trying to keep sodium down) and also said NO PICKLES and ended up with a regular Cuban that seemed to have extra pickles and extra mustard...after a phone call to let them know the gentleman was nice to offer me 2 free subs next time so I went today to try to order the turkey Cuban again and this time ended up with basically a bread and mustard sandwich with one slice of turkey! I would think if someone needed to substitute a meat (ham) that the person making the sub would add extra of the meat requested (turkey) to make up for the other and not just slap one slice of Turkey with mustard and minimal cheese! Second time I've ordered in a month and both times order was wrong. The first time ordered 4 subs and 3 were wrong. This time only ordered one and it was wrong. Wrong toppings missing toppings. My sub was decent but I want to give a heads up to anyone wanting to grab a sub from here. Their prices have increased significantly. I understand prices of things are going up however the menu at the drivethru doesn't show the new prices. When my order for a large sub, drink and chips was almost 18$ I questioned the total, and I was told the prices went up when minimum wage went up. A different Larry's I can get two large subs for 2$ more. Won't be back. read more

I asked for a receipt, because the lady didn't seem like she heard me. She told me "Next window.", for the receipt. I drove to the next window, they handed me one sandwich and walked away. I said I ordered two sandwiches. He came back and said you only paid for one. I said no, I paid $13.35, for two small sandwiches. The staff were a little awkward like they had just had a fight amongst themselves, or maybe they were just tired of making sandwiches and were deep in thought about their next career move. Thats alright, the food is great. I got a Chicago beef sandwich, and it was probably the best I've had since being in Chicago. The beef was tender and juicy and the roll was excellent. This location has a drive thru! Although, I still call my order in. My sub has always been ready when I arrived. There isn't a way to go around the person in front of you since there's a window for ordering and picking up, and the lanes are not that wide. If that's the case you need to put it into reverse Terry, unless someone is behind you then you need to wait for the person in front of you to pick up their sub.... read more

I really enjoy this place! They have a variety of subs and salads ... the kids meal is a great deal. I don't come here as much as I should. Also!!!!! The staff is very nice. I wanted to update and add this in.. so I don't eat chips or drink soda. I went through the drive thru this visit and I was asked what kind of chips I wanted? I honestly had no idea what they even had and I'm only familiar with chips that were made about ten years ago Like for example plain Doritos or lays. Anyways I tried to look up a chip option on the web site. No luck here and I asked the lady and she responded with what don't we have? So of course I said regular Doritos. Bc I have no idea. Great sandwiches & salads. They have an extensive menu. You can order accordingly to exactly what you want. I like their Cuban as well as there Gluten free bread. At least they offer Gluten free which is. Or always easy to find. Their salads are huge. If it doesn't fill you up then I don't know what will. Great dressings. read more

I have to be honest - I hated this location when I first visited several months ago. It was buzzing - not from customers, but from flies! I was so disgusted by the number of flies I saw in the short time I was waiting for my order that I wanted to run out of the restaurant and vomit. For some reason, I decided to give them another try and I'm glad I did. They have improved so much. I do not, however, recommend the drive-thru. The last time I went through, I swear it took 10 minutes from the start of pulling in to the line to getting my sandwich. Part of it was the customer in front of me taking so long to put in an order (they have a sign that says they limit the drive-thru to 4 subs but I am certain he either ordered more than that or had a VERY complicated order). I will never go thru the drive-thru again. Anytime I come to this location, I park the car and walk inside. I have a gluten allergy and I know that I don't get sick from Larry's so it's a nice guilty pleasure. I love their gluten-free bread. The last 2 times I've ordered from this location, I've been asked if my gluten-free need is a preference or allergy. That is awesome! I wish all Larry's locations did this - maybe they are in training - but it's such a nice thing to know that restaurants are understanding of true allergies and not of the mind that gluten-free is some "cool fad." I even tip them after they ask this question to let them know how much I appreciate it - not something I typically do at restaurants when I'm ordering take-out. Girl at the drive thru didn't know what came on their veggie sub, so I just named a few things I knew I didn't want - jalapeños, olives, pickles, etc. - all of which were on my sandwich when I got home :/ They were out of the chips I ordered, but instead of telling me just handed me a different kind & was then annoyed when I switched them out. I walk in and was immediately ignored by 2 associates. There is not a soul in the place but me and there was no one at the drive-through. When you walk into the doors the stereo is blasting and there are two TVs competing against each other. The noise level was not tolerable. Stopped in for lunch to be greeted by the grumpiest cashier ever. Probably not 'ever' but the parallel is spot on. This is my favorite Larry's in town, hands down. Staff are always very nice and accommodating, until just a few fridays ago. We came in and some unfamiliar dudes were working. No big. I ordered my sandwich and enjoyed it... until the end. There were some thick curly hairs of a decent length in one end of the sandwich. Now, every time we try to come up with dinner options, we can't go to our favorite Larry's. I've been back once, but after seeing the same couple of dudes working, I moved on.
