Today was the first time I've been to Fast Track since Oswaldo took over. He's fantastic. He changed my starter for $200 less than the dealer wanted to charge me. Great repair shop! Oswaldo had been working with Tony the previous owner of Fast Track for 20 years. Oswaldo has recently taken over the business and is very talented mechanic. My wife's car wouldn't start so we towed the car over to his shop. He was able to get the part very quickly and install it. He was very fair with the labor as well. Had a problem with my car's AC, which is super problematic in this area at this time (expected to be 111 degrees tomorrow!). Oswaldo was extremely professional and honest, charging me less than what other bigger repair shops were going to charge me just for the diagnostic! He doesn't play games with you, he will tell you exactly what is going on and charges appropriately and reasonably. Excellent quality of service and customer service. The old Fast Track Automotive on Alabama Ave. in Canoga Park, CA closed down when Tony the owner decided to retire. His right hand man, Oswaldo, took over and opened shop recently about two blocks from the old location. Ozzy is a very reliable mechanic with a great reputation from his days working for Tony. He generously drives you home when you leave your car (as I did recently) and then will pick you up when the work has been completed. He even corrected a warning light on my dashboard and then took the car to have it smog tested as required for this year. Prices are reasonable and he is very thorough. He even quoted one price for repairs but charge much less when I picked up the car. He found a less expensive parts house for what my car needed and passed the savings along. You would do well to have him service your car. read more

I've been going to Ozzie at fast track for years with my minivan and my Hyundai Santa Fe. He's very honest, always tells me what he thinks the car needs and he always gives me a fair price. The work he's done has been high quality and reasonably priced. Even if it's just an oil change I always go to Fast Track to have my car worked on. I've seen other cars in his lot that people have referred to Ozzie because they weren't happy with the shop that gave them the initial diagnosis. We had a serious safety issue with my daughter's car. Her brakes were so bad they were no longer "squeaking" rather, they were violently "scrapping and grinding". My daughter is young and broke and kept putting it off. When I finally was let in on the fact that her car was probably a "death-trap" now, I looked around for a place that could service her car (BMW) that day! I got a tip from a family-friend/co-worker who said to try "Oswaldo". Her family had apparently been going to him for all their cars for years! I called, we had the car towed there (yes, they were that bad!!), and he fixed it same day (actually, in a matter of hours). All the rotors had to be replaced along with the brake pads! The price was surprisingly reasonable, so we went for it. When we got there to pick the car up, Ozzy was so great. He has a very honest, loving, and kind vibe to him. He showed us the torn up rotors (which were unbelievable!), and explained everything he did. He even fixed my daughters bumper for free (it only needed to be screwed together, but we didn't expect him or ask him to do that). I was so relieved that my daughter would be safe and that I had found my "forever-mechanic"! As most know, it is NOT easy to find a good, reliable, reasonably priced and honest mechanic! He is wonderful, we are grateful. I highly recommend Ozzy and his guys. read more

Discovered Oswaldo as a referral from a gentleman I met when I bought my car from friends of his. He offered me a free first oil change and checkup. Oswaldo showed his integrity. Showed me how the oils were clean and did not need a change for another 3,000 miles, put air in the tires, and took his time to figure out why my trunk wasn't opening at the push of the button, showed me how each and every item looked in very good condition. Alerted me to be sure to replace timing belt at some point before it becomes an expensive repair. I plan to bring my son's car for repairs here too. 11/15/2018 Update: Oswaldo is THE MECHANIC to go to. I continued taking my car to him, as well as our kids' cars. I don't know what to praise first: His integrity, his fairness in cost for services, his going above and beyond. Always showing this woman what is happening under the hood, fuel tank, electrical & computer issues. And when he needs to keep the car for work, he always provides me with a car he has so I am not inconvenienced with No Charge of course. On top of all that, he is a friendly, caring person (always asking about my husband who suffered a massive stroke) and my kids, and he is truly a kind human being. As for years I have been trying to find that perfect, reliable, dependable, HONEST, mechanic. Well I am here to tell you this is the place. " Fast track automotive on Alabama Ave in Canoga Park" . I was so impressed by the professional service and the upfront honesty , that I knew I needed to spread the word about this amazing rare find. I have an older car and all the local mechanic shops were not able to find the problem, and the owner at Fast Track Ozzy, took the time do a total system diagnostic scan and was able to pinpoint the problem. I had received long list of items from other auto repair shops of repairs that needed to be done to my 2003 Envoy along with outrageous quotes, and none of those items even needed to be repaired.
