He checked in with us every half hour to let us know what was going on and how it would be fixed. When I purchased my AC from Larson, a sales rep l sold me on an extra 1200.00 plan to have my AC for ten years. Now I'm told I need to purchase another 500.00+ plan to cover yearly tune ups and checks. I really don't understand, and they poorly explained it to me. Placed a call last night to have a technician come out since our ac kept shutting off. They called back and confirmed someone can come out first thing in the morning. Saul came out for the emergency services, explained everything he was going to do for diagnostic, he didn't pressure us to do anything unnecessary. Listened to the problem and when it started, figured it out after thoroughly inspecting all units and equipment. The AC stopped coming on all of a sudden and the technician, Saul was able to diagnose the issue quickly today and fixed it fast too. The problem was two bad fuses which cost 135.06 to replace and they gave me half off the price for the service call which I've asked the scheduler earlier. He said he checked everything and was fine. But later in the day the A/C stopped cooling for an hour and started cooling again after it was turned off and turned on again. Not sure what was the issue but would really like the technician to have fix them all at the same time as these things r quite disruptive. read more

We hoped to get through summer with our 15 year old A/C units before considering replacements next year. We had Larson Clean and Check the units in late winter in preparation for the summer. Unfortunately one of the units stopped working the other day in 100+ degree heat. We also had an issue like this in the middle of the summer in 2020 at different location when Sam came out from Larson and saved the day. I called Larson and Octavio came out and inspected the unit right away. The capacitor had failed, which appears to be a common problem for old A/C units constantly working under intense heat conditions. Octavio also checked the fan, circuit box and other possible contributors to the A/C failure. The A/C was back up in less than hour and has been working flawlessly over the last few days. This was my third experience with Larson, and second under urgent conditions. Despite the extremely busy middle of the summer times of the year that I have called Larson, they send someone experienced out right away who does very thorough evaluations and both times found and fixed the issue right away. All three of my encounters with Larson technicians Sam in 2020, Nick and then Octavio in 2024, were all prompt, courteous, thorough and got the job done. I highly recommend and trust Larson Air Conditioning here in the Phoenix area where air conditioning in the dangerous summer heat is such a necessity for living. read more

Everyone I talked to was very customer focused. We had issues with our condensation line and they were able to get someone out quickly. Larson AC installed a new HVAC system in our house in the spring. Scheduling, communication and installation went smoothly. There was a slight issue a few days post-installation, but the response was quick with a technician (Jovan) sent immediately to fix it. AC system worked great through the summer heat with no problems. During our recent system check-up, the technician (Hunter) found a dead bird in our attic. He went above and beyond in helping to check for areas where it might have got in (we concluded that it likely just occurred when roof was replaced) and was kind enough to take care of it and remove the bird. I've used Larson for over 2 years and been generally satisfied with their service. This review is addressing their communication and reliability re scheduling. I did not engage their services. Last week I had routine maintainable scheduled and no one arrived by 5PM. II called and was told he'd be here by 7PM. I had to reschedule. The man I s[poke with was very apologetic and helpful. He made specific appointment time for 11AM today, "guaranteeing" the second appointment of the day. When no one arrived I again called and was told it would be 5PM. The technicians may be good but how can I sign a contract with a company that doesn't honor their word. read more

Our 2 A/C systems needed to be replaced. We've used Larson's for years for maintenance and repairs, and have been very happy. Ray (Project Manager) met with us on Monday, inspected our equipment, discussed all options, and gave us a price. Installation happened the very next day! Installation Technicians Zack, Nick and Mike arrived at 7:00am and worked until 5:00pm. Ray stopped by as well. They were so professional, efficient, hard working, respectful, and did an amazing job! They installed the new equipment outside and in attic spaces, cleaned up completely, helped us program our new thermostats and download the mobile app. We also received dozens of photos of the equipment in the attic spaces, and they are spotless. They even added wood trim around the two attic access panels for a nice finished look. I'm also impressed by the office staff. I had read about smart thermostats and wanted to get them because I Travel a fair amount. I asked perplexity (my AI app.) and it recommended LARSEN AC. Last month my AC stopped working. Called Larson Air Conditioning and Saul came out right on time. He went up into the attic, took pictures and figured out what my issues were. He gave me a detailed report and presented me with my options. Since the system was over 20 years old I decided to purchase a new system. Ray (project manager) came out and gave me plenty of options and was very thorough on explaining each one. After I was done with Ray I was very comfortable on my decision. They came on a Friday and assumed I would not get anything done time the fourth week. Not so, there was an opening on Saturday morning and Ernesto and Joe were there promptly and 7:00, outdoor temperatures temps over 110. They removed the old system (removed from my driveway by 11) and replaced it with the new system in the early afternoon. It's been over a month now and I am very pleased. New dependable system that is extremely efficient as well as quiet. I am extremely happy with my new system, Larson AC and the guys who got the job done.
