I was in the Anaheim area for lunch and decided to try out Sabor Mi Tierra. I wasn't impressed with the decor and didn't expect much from the food. The chips were bland and didn't taste homemade, this was just confirming my thoughts about the food we were about to experience. But! To our surprise the food was tasty. We had the Potato Tacos, Rice, and Beans. Choice of beverage was can Coke. I wouldn't seek this place out but if in the area I might stop by.

Was in the mood for menudo and I knew this place would hit the spot, especially with the homemade tortillas. I wish I could add hominy but was told I couldn't although last time they told me I could lol. Anyway it's too good to not pass up. Very flavorful and just the right amount of spices. Service was very friendly and attentive despite how busy and loud it was today. The review above didn't post so I'm adding another to it. I went today for breakfast and had the chorizo. It was delicious and barely oily. The homemade tortillas were the cherry on top.

I come here all the time. I get the al pastor wet burrito (half red, half green) Feeds 2, super delicious. Talented chef, sweet and helpful waitresses. Recommendation to the owner, chilaquiles breakfast burrito!

Red & Green Sauce are really good . I had green chilaquiles , eggs over easy with asada and my wife had Pollo Guisado . Freshly made chips & salsa and our meals were served with fresh corn tortillas (hechas a mano). The music is really loud lol but the vibe was lively & they had games on all 6 tvs . We will be back again.

The combination of a bar-like ambiance had me asking if it was family-friendly atmosphere- it is family friendly! There was lot of tables (that seat 4) and we saw people come in and out. The service was attentive and accommodating, especially with a picky eater (kid). 5 stars for just the service!!! The decor of classic celebrity paintings and music playing in the background was so much fun to walk into. The food might be on the spicier side, but they are flexible in adjusting it to suit different preferences. The food was delicious. Take a look at the photos- full of fresh ingredients.

Absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend. Came in one a Saturday early evening and it wasn't busy at all (was seated right away). We had the Shrimp Cocktail and the Mojara plate. Both were large sizes and tasted pretty darn authentic (brought back childhood memories). The ambiance is very chill with cute decor. Very much appreciated that the whole place was very clean too. Can't wait to come back and try their other items!!

Run, don't walk, RUN!!! To try out the garlic shrimp here! Wow this was tasty. Garlicky but with a Latino flair! They offer two styles! Shell-on and peeled with tail on. Do the latter. Amazing flavor! It's a little pricey but that flavor makes it worthwhile! Beers are 5.50 and the tacos are $3. The tortillas are hand made and crazy good too! Service was fast and friendly! The decor is super cute! Modern Latino murals on the walls with La chilindrina and such. Highly recommend eating here!

Another Yelp recommendation- driving around town not knowing what we wanted to eat stumbled upon this on yelp when i searched homemade tortillas - super clean - staff was supper nice - food was good (beans were cold) and my fish tacos did lack in salt but overall everything tasted great. Horchata was amazing. French fries were my fave crispy and seasoned greatly - the salsa with chips was good & spicey chips tasted like they were just made- would def recommend this spot. & will eventually make my way back to try something else.

The restaurant is small but full of life. You walk in and immediately experience the ambiance. There's paintings on the walls and music playing. We ordered at the counter and got it to go. The customer service was amazing. They were very polite and accommodating. They gave me chips & salsa with a water while I waited for my to go order. I got Potato Tacos. The plate was $12.99 for 3 tacos and beans and rice. I wasn't wild about the extra green sauce in the beans, but that's my personal preference- I prefer them plain. The plate comes with red and green sauce- it's more of a sauce than a salsa. The food was good. I enjoyed the tacos. I also didn't feel gross after I ate it- so I knew it was good quality.

I wanted to try this for the first time. We ordered the caldo de res, it wasn't bad that's why I gave it two stars. But what was crazy was the price, $46.00 for two caldos. Plus they don't even give you rice, just the broth and two pieces of meat. Pretty disappointed because it was not bad just not worth the 23 dollars a piece. read more

my favorite place in anaheim to grab menudo! the potato tacos are a favorite too. the last couple times i've gone there have been only spanish speakers but we work together to figure it out haha! got a chance to meet the owner a while back and he was very sweet. nice little local owned business. read more

Great place for lunch or dinner. The food was nothing short of amazing. Their menu has lots of choices. My group ordered different items from the menu and they were all impressed (and they are difficult to please) so I was super happy they were all satisfied. Parking at this location can get crowded at times. We were lucky to arrive just on time and we were the first ones there, so service was fast for us. Overall, great dinner experience. I learned that if you order online for take out, they give you a free flan! read more

Tried this for the first time last week and it was wonderful. Ordered online for take out and my order was ready within the order time window. When I stopped by to pick it up I noticed they also had desserts so I asked about the different flavor flan options they had. I picked up my food and dessert all in one place. Food is Delicious worth every penny!! Authentic Freshly made loving the fresh hand made tortillas that's what makes it more Authentic and delicious.. we stayed in Disneyland and we ate there everyday. There tostadas de ceviche de camarón are Amazing, also there Fish tacos are delish, and the Tacos Governador are too die for its shrimp and cheese... So i really thought i found a winner here but they proved me wrong. I went four times and that was three too many. First time was fine. I had a carnitas burrito. Went back for some carne asada tacos which were okay but the tortillas, which were handmade, although good they were so thin the tacos fell apart right when i picked them up. But i decided to try again. This time id ask for two torts for each taco! That would surely do the trick and really hit the spot. Or so i thought. No such luck! ! This time whoever the cook is...decided to put cheese on my carne asada tacos! They didnt come with cheese before. Those went straight to the trash. The final straw was last night. Decided on that place to take mom out for dinner. Bad decision Mom had the flautas plate. We assumed they were beef. Mistake on our part - they were chicken, yuck! But she tried to eat them. As for me, I specifically asked what they put inside a carne asada burrito. She ran down the short list and NEVER mentioned cheese. So guess what...they decided to surprise me. Sick!!! I hate cheese. And she claims she said cheese. Not true, otherwise i would have said NNOOO CHEESE. Not going back. $45 is definitely not worth the inconsistency. Still on the search for a GOOD burrito that will be just as good each time i go. Is there such a place? Im easy. Dont want/need much. Nice sized old-fashion flour tortilla (not red), some meat (preferably asada), some juicy refried beans, onions, cilantro, and red salsa on the side. Is that too much to ask for? Not wet and no rice or cheese what-so-ever, puhleeze. And a side of chips would be the icing on the cake. (in my opinion) Ahhh just thinking of such a treat makes my mouth water. Need suggestions, por favor! read more

I was very impressed how clean the restaurant is . the food is amazing . I went to eat with wife for her birthday dinner . I was very happy with the food and the service . The next day I went to get some tacos de al pastor , they were also very good and surprisingly the came out quickly and were warm . They were always a bit busy . This this definitely my place to go for Mexican food from now on . If your not from the area I would definitely recommend you check this place out . read more

Two stars only because the food was good. Wish I could say the same about the service. We walked in sat down and got our menus. Waiter took around 10 minutes to acknowledge us again and ask what we wanted to drink. After another ten minutes she finally came to take our order. We specified no dairy on our food but she seemed to brush us off. She put our drinks on the table and walked away. We had to flag her down to ask for chips and salsa to which she made a face. About twenty minutes later our food finally came out, but with dairy. During all this time she kept going to other tables to ask how they were doing or if they needed anything except for us. Once she brought our food without dairy we never saw her again. She made it obvious she was avoiding our table as she was friendly to everyone else but us. To top it off she charged us wrong. As much as the reviews made us want to like this place the service just wasn't worth it. read more

I came here in my lunch break I ask them before they start preparing the food how long it would take they said 15 to 20 mins it took 1 hr to get my food and because I was in a rush I trust them to put 6 tacos in a bag ... I get back to work only 3 tacos are present ..... try somewhere else if you time is limited read more

Green Enchiladas!!! Definitely recommend trying this place. Small, but great customer service. Food and drinks arrived at a timely matter. We came in on a0 Friday around 8 and wasn't very busy so we got sat right away. I will definitely be coming back here!! They do close at 10 though, not at midnight like it says online. Great service, came in unexpected in kind of a perfect before busy hour. 9:00pm Friday We were 13 deep & left Disney way waiting a two hour line for casa de pancho so we decided let's so somewhere real quick checked this place out and we where happy to put our money in. Epically small business, Worth it for my family we have 5 & it was $51 not including tip. Very good service even when order was a little hot they did not hesitate to help us out the best way the knew how. Glad we chose this spot. Check them out. read more

Great food but even greater service! The folks who run this place are so nice and great you the minute you walk in and give you a warm goodbye as you head out. Their Cafe de Olla is AMAZING and I hate coffee so that says a lot! A big sucker for their red chilaquiles and pancakes. Most amazing place. I wish I still had the picture of the pizza I ordered but it was possibly the best pizza I've ever had. The crust, the meat, the portion size, is all perfect. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee. To be safe, we also got the Mentai Salt & Butter Roll. While we liked the Roll and its crunchy outside/soft inside, we actually loved the Oyaki. The mochi isn't sweet at all, just nicely chewy. Plus, whereas the Roll only had a little bit of spicy cod roe inside, the Oyaki was packed! I say this a lot, but truly, everything looked good. I hope to come back and try their Paninis and Danishes. If they're anything like the Oyaki, they'll be distinct, delicious, and downright delightful.

BUT we discovered you could easily cut the steak with a butter knife - that's how tender it was. Honestly while the food was great, the people who work here are the real sell. Really really really good service!! The young lady serving us was very kind checking up on us a lot and making sure we had everything we needed!! The food was super super good it was incredible! I order 3 tacos de alpastor and 2 de asada it's was so good the meet was cooked throughly and the sauce omg they where super good!! The guacamole sauce was incredible!!!
