Our first time here. Pretty stoked on what we got. Kids scarfing up quesadillas and taquitos, while we adults enjoyed a wet chicken burrito and some street tacos. While the carnitas were just "OK", the carne asada was freaking amazing. Great spices and cooking. When we walked in the door, you get that "This place has been here for a million years" kind of vibe. The smoke from the grill hits you when you walk in and lets you know the food is real and made there. Staff is super friendly and helpful - after our order, we had two, maybe three extra questions or little things we needed. They easily handled both their current customers in line but also addressed us to get us taken care of. Impressed. Small intimate setting, close seating. The salsas were delicious. I'd heard that this place was good, something worth stopping for. The reality is that this pace is delicious and exactly what we needed. We'll definitely find a reason to return. read more

Excellent food! My wife had the chili relleno as she always does, and loved it. I had the 3 enchiladas plate, one asada, one shredded beef, and one carnitas. Each was outstanding! Very fresh, well prepared and presented. The only knock would be having to order in the entrance off the big menu then pay around the corner at the register. If you have questions it becomes difficult to order with the menu away from the person with the answers. Las Brisas would probably do well with menus and a couple table servers. Also $2.50 for a large soda and $1.00 refills is a little steep and no regular iced tea was a bummer. Nice people, good food, clean place. read more

Great serves, super friendly and bomb ass tacos outside, after hours. We come here at least 4 times a month. They have frijoles de la holla that you can put on your tacos plus all kinds of diffrent salsas and meats. Love this place. Yum. read more

Me and some friends were skating in fallbrook for the day we are from vista and San Marcos area which isn't far but there's something about fallbrook that gives it a small town feel. This translated into the food at Las Brisas. I'll start with the salsa. The salsa for the chips was delicious and flavorful but a nice kick, which I like. I ordered the fish taco plate and it did not disappoint. The fish was battered but still light and not too thick or crunchy. The plate came with a small side of guacamole which was light and creamy but still full of flavor. All around a perfect Mexican food spot for a quick bite or a nice dinner. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. The lady's demeanor instantly turned cold and condescending when my friend and I stepped to the register. (Possible racist?? Since we were the only asians at the restaurant) When I asked questions about the food, the lady responded with an eyebrow raise and slow talking (as if we didn't speak English). Also, they gave us one sauce cup for our burrito?! And gave me a snooty look when I asked for extra sauce cups. Did I mention there's also a .75 surcharge if your order is less than $10 for credit/debit cards? Definitely do NOT recommend coming here. Especially if you're having a good day. This Place is TERRIBLE! I work a block away so its very convenient for me to go there. I have been 3 or 4 times and every time the service and overall experience keep getting worse and worse. First, they work at the slowest pace possible. there could only be 2 people in line when i enter and it will still take over 10 minutes to get the front to order. then when you get to order the food is outrageously priced 6 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito get out of here. 3 rolled tacos also cost 6 bucks, what a joke. you think will prices like that the portions would be giant, but sadly that is not the case. This is a restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be. It's a cross between a hole in the wall taco shop and a sit down restaurant. They have sit down prices - $8 for a carne asada burrito that doesn't include guacamole... guacamole is extra... but their carne asada burrito does have beans in it which I find to be a weird offering and seems like it is to limit the carne asada in their product and cut down on their costs. As other reviews have mentioned they are very cheap when it comes to their salsa bar and literally have a limit of how many 2 oz salsa containers they will give you. I'm sorry, but if you are charging $8 for a burrito, you should be able to get enough salsa for your $8 burrito. This would be equivalent of going to McDonalds and only being allowed one ketchup packet for your fries... except McDonald's would be cheaper and better food... and I hate McDonalds. Over all, very disappointing, won't be back. There are plenty of better places near by this location. Don't waste your money here. read more

Not cheap and small quantity. Rolled taco sized enchiladas. Smallest I have seen for $9.00 or any price for that matter. Chips and taco shells from the store not freshly made like a restaurant should be. Salsa is pretty bad too and everything is salty. Guac and sour cream portions are mini as well as the chips. Also lots of flies inside the restaurant. Really needs air curtains. Wanted to like this place but no. Bean burrito was big at least. Reading those review got me excited about trying this place that i originally drove past because of the gaudy exterior. Upon walking in it looked clean and small. The combos seemed pricey, I didnt want to spend $10 for lunch so I bought a carne asada burrito. I added guacamole (honestly don't see how mexican places can serve a carne asada burrito without guacamole especially in Fallbrook!) so it came to $6.15. First sthing that bothered me is she gave me obe tiny cup for the salsa bar. Thats a huge peeeve of mine. When they limit the salsa bar!!! Thats the most stupid thing when Mexicans do this!! Anyway. Back to the burrito...The flavoring was good, peppery..Im a pepper lover so it may be a little spicey if you are sensitive to that. The only thing unusual about the burrito though was the frsh beans in it. That made it stand out a little. Overall..nothing spectacular. Good burrito, average size. I found Las Brisas here on Yelp. Went there, got the chicken burrito plate. The absolute best Mexican meal I have ever had, not to mention the food was ready faster than you can say cilantro. The chicken, shredded and marinated, was absolutely delicious. If you are staying in Fallbrook, you have got to try Las Brisas. More food on the plate than I thought I could eat, but it was so good, I finished every bite, washed it down with some passion ice tea. Try Las Brisas, it is some good food. read more

By far they have the best Mexican food in the area. We used to drive from Oceanside just to eat here and our friends and family agree. The down side is one of the owners I believe she is the wife. We were a table of five and we ordered five dollars for a side of guacamole to share plus each of us had a burrito. It came with three chips for the entire table. We asked for more and the owner came out explaining since none of us ordered a combo they can not give us chips continued by saying how expensive chips are they can not just hand them out. Very rude, very awkward. All the other staff have been nothing but kind. A server came out personally and apologized for her treatment towards us and snuck us a bag of chips. Not the first time the owner has been rude to us and her staff apologizes to us for her. If it wasn't how good the food is and how sweet her staff always are we would not keep coming back. read more

This is GREAT Mexican food. Whenever we've come there's been a wait, but that's a sign of it's deliciousness. The fried foods (chips, tacos, etc...) are perfectly crispy and the meats are seasoned and cooked to perfection.
