The service was good, the ambiance is really relaxed and the food was really good. I had the Mallorca with turkey, cheese and butter & it was great. I would definitely recommend and come back.
Grab and go coffee shop. Well proportioned and tasty sandwiches. Exactly what we needed after a long flight.
Great breakfast spot in isla verde. Big portions for good prices. Laid back, can take out or eat in. Burgers, sandwiches and other breakfast items. Fast service; friendly servers who speak Spanish and English fluently.
This cafe is without a doubt 10/10. My family and I literally came here every single morning for breakfast because it was that good! The food comes out so fast, the staff were super nice, and it just gives local Puerto Rican vibes. You know it's a great spot when you see people stopping there for food on break or before they're on their way to work. Everythingggg is delicious!
Great food, great service, amazing coffee, and breakfast easy to find. I return here every year every visit. I also appreciate that I can still have a nice hot coffee in cool air conditioning. This is a must stop for breakfast or brunch. They are open 7 AM to 3 PM.
Exactly what you expect from a local bakery in Puerto Rico. The bread is fresh daily - yum. Note: milk options for coffee are limited to regular milk. Great cafe con leche!
Clean, close to the beach, amazing food. They have indoor and outdoor seating which was nice to be able to enjoy the fresh air. The staff were efficient and the service was what one could hope for.
Stopped by here, for a quick brunch when going to the beach. We ordered some empanadas and waffle chicken. It was a good place for a quick bite. The service was fast. I liked the shrimp empanada more than the chicken, had a good flavor. Waffle chicken, the chicken was quite crunchy. The southwest chicken omelette was quite cheesy and good as well. The eggs which came on the side with waffle chicken we ordered scrambled. This seemed a little different. But my parents wanted to wait there, while we went to the beach. They never said anything to have us leave even though we stayed longer and the place kept getting at times but fast moving crowd.
I left nothing for the birds! Practically licked the plate in the most unfathomable way! Must visit, eat and do not rush the experience of a slow morning with good food and coffee. Clean and uncluttered
It's a fast food, casual style restaurant. Go to the cash register and order your meal and they give you a buzzer. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order didn't seem very happy to take our order. no eye contact, very cold, no smile and did not even bother to explain anything if we had any questions. But the food on the other hand was tasty and unique...
From walking in, everything was great. I can see why this place comes highly recommended in Isla Verde. We came in on a weekday for brunch / lunch close to the beach. Everything was great, the inside is really big and bright, the counter service is very fast and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend.
The food was decent. I had the chicken and waffles it was chick strips but it wasn't bad. Regular syrup but they have a tangy hot sauce that was good. You go to the counter to order and then you seat yourself like a McDonald's or something. The ambiance is like a fast food spot so tables are limited but they do have an outside. The menu is not that big but you can find breakfast and lunch.
5's across the board! One of the guests recommended this spot to me and I am so happy they did! The second I entered the breakfast spot, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. After a few questions, I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on soft bread with tomato. The clerk asked if I wanted mayo on it and I never had mayo on my breakfast sandwich but I said yes. Glad I did! It brought out all the flavors! They also had a variety of fresh juices. I ended up getting the guava-pineapple. Their patio is nice and spacious and I was able to enjoy the weather. I will be back for that soursop juice!! Check them out!!

Loved this spot as it was conveniently located off of a main road close to where we were staying. The food was delicious! The Cuban sandwich was filling and the meats were deliciously seasoned, and the breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Loved the toasted bread that came with the scrambled eggs. my boyfriend and I both got ham and cheese. I really enjoyed the texture of the bread. soft, freshly baked. we didn't realize there wasn't ketchup on the stands or tables till we began to eat our sandwich. we didn't bother asking the woman taking our order--there was a very long line behind us + tasted just fine without ketchup it's a casual atmosphere, line can escalate quickly. read more
I walked down from my resort and felt safe. The hot coco was delicious. There is milk inside. Now I did not like the shrimp taco. It was frozen breaded shrimp. You can not get regular shrimp tacos here. The price was reasonable for it. I just don't like breaded shrimp. The bees empanada was good. It was a little salty but when u pair it was something sweet it evened out the saltiness. read more
Walk in. Wait in Line to order. Sit down and listen for your name. Then go up and get your food. More of a walk up drive through than a restaurant but the food is good. My omelet was fresh tasting and delish. Maduros we're sweet and yummy. Coffee was smooth and great as well. All in all I'd go to again The busboy was super nice and got us whatever condiments we needed. read more

Really great food. Service is solid and very quick. Sandwich was fantastic, I love the bread they use. Iced coffee was good too. Will be back next time I need a quick breakfast in Carolina. read more

Highly recommend this place. This is a place gem in my opinion. It's actually hidden but eating there is an absolute must! Their casadella was so good, had beef one with green bell pepper without onions. My mom had their toast. And she really enjoyed it. It's not the usual toast. It's a longer bread but tasty. Prices are great, bony over priced at all. There is a long line to order but worth the wait. Plenty of chairs to sit. I would visit again and recommend it to everyone! read more

Everything we had was so good! I didn't even get to take pics of all of it! Valencia (Pork and cheddar omelette) was sooo yummm and cuban sandwich was too! So good we went two days in a row! They even have Dr. Pepper! read more

Nice restaurant that I found around the corner from my AirBnB. The food is cooked right there as you wait in the front. Meal portions were a good size (pancakes were big, eggs cooked to perfection, and enough bacon cooked just right. I love a good cup of coffee and this place very good coffee. Even came back later for some more. They offered fruit juices (I didn't try) but another person in our party said it was good, sweet and refreshing. read more

Their coffee is the best. Good variety of breakfast and lunch. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very calm and easy, they have seating in the outside and a large inside area. We always come back when we in Puerto Rico . read more
I can't wait to go back and try more. The lady at the counter was so friendly and patient with our first time there we didn't know certain things and she answered all our questions we were shocked to find out that the sandwiches come with mayo and she informed us that we could get it with butter or mayo. The sandwich was so delicious and filling. Next time I will try it with mayo. All the juices were so refreshing. The food was so good. Also they had plenty of seating. read more

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was good. Fresh and made to order. We've been twice in two days. Service is quick and the cashiers are helpful in explaining things. Pastries are amazing. Very good strong coffee in a variety of flavors. Big open dining area. Plenty of tables brightly colored inside and out. A few tables outside available. I couldn't pick my favorite. The juices also very good. If you're in the area make sure you stop in. They close at 3 so come early. read more

Basically everything I ever ate on my recent trip to San Juan. Puerto Rico was amazing! And Las Canarias was no exception. I was on my way to the airport and wanted a quick bite for lunch, so we stopped in here and grabbed some empanadas. Got the beef and the chicken and both are equally as amazing. Service was friendly and the order was ready very quickly. Can't wait to go back again! read more

This was a very good casual place to stop for lunch. It's in easy walking distance of most of the isla verde hotels. Outside the building is bright yellow (like a canary!) so it stands out. Inside is very stark but with bright red and yellow chairs to carry out the color theme. The menu is on the wall as you enter and inside over the counter. There's also a table top display there mentioning additional grill items. The breakfast menu is quite extensive. I think you can get breakfast all day. You order at the counter and pay and they deliver your order to the table. Prices are very reasonable for the area. Many sandwiches are in the $19 range and are a good portion size. My media noche with pulled pork and ham was served hot with the pickles very hot. Traditional sweet bread and pressed Cuban style. My husband's tripleta had three meats in it -- the addition of beef -- plus for a dollar more he added in lettuce and tomato. We each only could eat half of our sandwiches and saved the rest for later. I'd certainly come back here again for a casual meal. read more

Breakfast quesadillas were so good and more than enough for 3 of us to share. Basically like 4 breakfast tacos. French toast wasn't my personal favorite but everyone else in our party liked it Service not that friendly but food came out very quick. Outdoor seating is always a plus for me. read more

Very rude older blonde hair cashier taking my order. As I told the lady my order, she was also talking to a coworker and then gets my order wrong. The price of this place is overpriced comparing with any other bakery in the area. Regular sandwiches and coffee nothing special. Save yourself time & take your business elsewhere. read more

Food was delicious! Parcha was great as well. There's an indoor seating area and small outdoor seating. There was little waiting time for the food it came out quickly. Definitely recommend this breakfast/brunch spot as the food is great and overall location was amazing. read more

I chose to stay in Isla Verde when I was in Puerto Rico right before covid hit the US. This place was across from my Airbnb and not far from the beach. The inside was cute with lots of space. It allowed me to come in the morning and purchase a coffee and some breakfast while writing in my travel journal and possibly planning my day. They offer a variety of pastries and juices to go with whatever savory breakfast items you might be purchasing. I would often do some variation of eggs, a protein, and bread- as I had poorly planned out my days in PR. Everything was fantastic and reasonably priced. However, bit of a carb queen here. There's something about the bread in Puerto Rico. It's so soft yet crispy. Honestly, anything you buy that comes with a bit of that phenomenal bread is worth it. If you're in the area and need a fix before an adventure, try here! Also, they have enough variety that you can mix it up day to day. read more

Walked in at 6:30am and the two people behind the counter/kitchen area greeted me with big smile. Got a small coffee and ham/egg/cheese sandwich and gosh it's good and big portion. It's also very reasonably priced compared to nearby places. Clean, fast, delicious, nice service, ACed, good service and good price. What more can you expect? Come here to start your day on a high note. read more
