Steak Quesadilla with no pico or sour cream

We love Las Delicias and frequent it regularly even though we live thirty minutes away. The prices are reasonable and you can't be the food. We always get some variation of steak because the flavor of their steak is soooo good! They make their chips in house and they are super airy and tasty with just the right amount of salt. Their salsa is some of the best in town, not too spicy with the perfect amount of cilantro. It's not just hot tomatoes, it's SUPER Flavorful! We love this place!

My family and I dined for lunch for the first time. I was please with the taste of the food and the service. The layout of the restaurant is odd. It has several dining rooms. Also, I had to swap my chair because it was very wobbly. All the chairs seemed old and about to fall apart. My husband and oldest son ordered tacos, but did not know it was only one they were each ordering and our server didn't ask how many or confirm they only wanted one. It didn't come with a side either. So their Lunch was small. We did order queso so they are a good bit of chips and dip. Thankfully it was a good queso. I on the other hand got the chicken fajita, and while it was not a traditional fajita I'm used to, it was still pretty good. I did however about have a heat stroke eating the pepper that I assumed was a jalapeño. Turns out it's a trick and it's really a serrano pepper which was extremely hot. Don't eat the pepper unless you can seriously take the heat! We'll be back to try some other options and read the menu a little more carefully.

I went to the Quince Rd location after 2 so I missed the lunch rush. I was seated and my order taken within minutes. My waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant is pretty typical for a Mexican spot, always friendly and the food is always good. I've been thinking about the Good Chips they have for awhile, my plan was to buy some extra chips and guacamole to take home. I ordered my same old thing Enchiladas Verde, it's the other reason I come here. As I waited for my food I took a look around and this would be a great place for a party. It's spacious, they have multiple dining rooms and I saw some outside seating available. My chips arrived and I just dove right in but something was different. My light airy perfectly cooked chips were somehow heavy and bland. I hope they didn't change the recipe. Maybe they were having a bad day or training a new person. My food came and it looked and tasted delicious. Well, I didn't buy any extra chips and guacamole to take home this time but I will return to see if the chips are back to their original goodness. I hope so because they had The Best Chips!

What this place lacks in appearance it tries to make up in price. This location is in a strip mall and somewhat hard to see from the street. I came here for a small gathering. Service was poor. We had to ask multiple times for glasses and drinks. They even got our food orders mixed up. Food was a great value. The table cloth had cuts and holes in it. The plates had noticeably large chips. The margarita tasted like syrup mix. May order take out from here.

    Nothing no food came

Ass service. I didn't get my damn food. The gave me a full plate of shrimp. The nachos were horrible and soggy, they didn't give the whole table food before closing kitchen. And the cheese took 2 hours to come.

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

The restaurant has a really neat vibe and is decorated better than most of the restaurants in the memphis area. We came at 5:00 on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately without reservations, but when we left, they did have a small wait to get a table. We started with the pimento cheese toastie which was garlic bread with melty pimento cheese on top. We both really enjoyed it. I decided on the filet with peppercorn sauce. I asked for it it to be butterflied. My steak was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of pink and it sliced like butter. I got the peppercorn sauce on the side and used it for a dipping sauce. I really liked the sauce, but it is really peppery. While I loved it, some might find it a little spicy. My husband had the bourbon glazed porterhouse pork chop. His was cooked perfectly fly as well and was super tender. He really enjoyed it, but mentioned that the sauce did have something in it that gave it a little spice. We shared an order of rosemary duck fat fries as the entrees come à la cart with no sides. The fries re heavy on rosemary which my husband didn't care for. I enjoyed them, but they were definitely not my favorite. They were not what I would consider traditional lamb chops and were surprisingly chewy and difficult to enjoy. I returned and decided to try the Irish Curry Chicken. It was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dishes I've had there. The menu described it as chicken thigh, but it was clearly chicken breast. The dish lacked basic seasoning and flavor. There was very little salt, umami, or curry flavor. The rice was wet, overcooked, and mushy. Overall, the entire meal tasted like something taken from a grocery store freezer section and reheated. At this point, I would recommend sticking to the fries and the burgers, which remain the strongest items on the menu.

Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine.
