We had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant. The host was rude, the atmosphere was mediocre, and the service should not even be called "service" for the very lack there of. We did not receive multiple items we ordered and when we got them, they were not what we ordered. The manager was rude as well which would explain why his staff was so incompetent and rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. What was supposed to be a fun celebration turned into a 2 hour long painful experience while we sat and waited for everything. We love Las Delicias and frequent it regularly even though we live thirty minutes away. The prices are reasonable and you can't be the food. We always get some variation of steak because the flavor of their steak is soooo good! They make their chips in house and they are super airy and tasty with just the right amount of salt. My family and I dined for lunch for the first time. I was please with the taste of the food and the service. The layout of the restaurant is odd. It has several dining rooms. Also, I had to swap my chair because it was very wobbly. All the chairs seemed old and about to fall apart. My husband and oldest son ordered tacos, but did not know it was only one they were each ordering and our server didn't ask how many or confirm they only wanted one. It didn't come with a side either. So their Lunch was small. We did order queso so they are a good bit of chips and dip. Thankfully it was a good queso. I on the other hand got the chicken fajita, and while it was not a traditional fajita I'm used to, it was still pretty good. I did however about have a heat stroke eating the pepper that I assumed was a jalapeño. Turns out it's a trick and it's really a serrano pepper which was extremely hot. Don't eat the pepper unless you can seriously take the heat! We'll be back to try some other options and read the menu a little more carefully. read more

I went to the Quince Rd location after 2 so I missed the lunch rush. I was seated and my order taken within minutes. My waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant is pretty typical for a Mexican spot, always friendly and the food is always good. I've been thinking about the Good Chips they have for awhile, my plan was to buy some extra chips and guacamole to take home. I ordered my same old thing Enchiladas Verde, it's the other reason I come here. As I waited for my food I took a look around and this would be a great place for a party. It's spacious, they have multiple dining rooms and I saw some outside seating available. My chips arrived and I just dove right in but something was different. My light airy perfectly cooked chips were somehow heavy and bland. I hope they didn't change the recipe. Maybe they were having a bad day or training a new person. My food came and it looked and tasted delicious. Well, I didn't buy any extra chips and guacamole to take home this time but I will return to see if the chips are back to their original goodness. Las Delicias is well-known for being excellent for a reason. The chips are amazing here and the food is always authentic and tasty. It's so popular that it's usually very full. This second location is just as good. The salsa here was really good. Some people mentioned it was spicy but I didn't notice. It was chunky and tasty. The queso was also great and the large was huge enough to feed multiple people. I really enjoyed mixing them and eating them separately. Water here tastes strange to me so I'll get a soda instead. The Ceviche was ok but not something I'd get again. The tamales were really dry and the salsas weren't to my liking so I will skip tamales next time. We go mid afternoons and never have to wait to be seated. Complimentary chips and salsa are a good way to start! We always order the enchiladas verdes with chicken. Three enchiladas are topped with chopped lettuce, pico de gallo, slices of avocado and are served with rice and beans. Also have ordered their freshly made guacamole. It's delicious! It came on a plate and it was sautéed chicken, bell peppers, onions and cheese not warm. No seasoning at all.! we waited for our server to come back which she never did. We had two or three bites each and more than half left and it was horrible. We wanted to let her know, but she never came back again.! when she brought our ticket after we told her we should not have to pay for it, we asked for the manager and he argued with us and said that what other restaurants serve is not really fajitas... We had a very poor experience at your restaurant tonight.I went and got two water to go cup from the bar and after that I had a waiter named Jose that is short and has a mustache and Works at the Quincy location. My wife and I get up to leave and he comes and demands in front of everybody that we pour out the alcohol that is in the cups after I confront him and tell him that there's water in there he just walks away laughing and calling us names, this is unacceptable. We will not be coming back to your restaurant and we've been coming there for years, we come here at least once a week and I've never been treated so poorly by anybody. read more

I've been here multiple times yet never left a review. This is my second visit in a week. In always seated upon arrival. Waiters and waitresses are always nice. My drinks and chips were refilled at just the right time. The salsa is one of the best tasting as far as Mexican restaurant salsa goes. I have ordered: steak, chicken, and chorizo tacos. The chicken and steak meat can be dry at times. I've also ordered the chicken and pork tamales, I like the pork the best. The alambre fajita is also good and the Cuban torta. I've never ordered anything from the menu that I didn't like. The tacos are corn shells, but I'm not sure if they have four shells. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas and those were corn tortilla shells as well but she enjoyed them. Definitely would and do recommend trying this place. The quesadilla is normally what I would get and it's not that big or amazing but the $4.50 price made up for it and it was a fair price. Absolutely fantastic salsa and guacamole! I've ordered it to go plenty of times but it's even better when you can enjoy it while dining in, which is something I did recently for the first time. Service was mostly great but got off to a rough start. The host was pleasant until we asked to sit outside on the patio - then he launched into a Spanish rant leaving us wondering what was wrong? Our server then explained to us that outside isn't advisable because of pesky flies. Totally understandable so not sure why he couldn't have just communicated that. The server was great though! She was attentive without hovering, offered recommendations and did it all with a smile. The seating was uncomfortably close. We asked to sit in a different section that had fewer people (our attempt to social distance) but they said they have to seat by sections, which would be okay if they'd take a few tables out so that we're not so close to others. I hope they'll make some adjustments here. The food was enjoyable - again their salsa is HITTING! The margarita not so much which was my biggest disappointment. But our server made up for some of the issues, as great service can! So while I don't plan to dine in again during the pandemic, I'll definitely order takeout for now and will return inside when things feel a little safer. read more

I like the food but the recent experience I had with a to go order, will prevent me from going back for a long time, if ever. To say the manager I spoke to (said his name was Jose) was not only rude and unprofessional but in my opinion, just wrong. We placed a pickup order through Uber Eats, since the restaurant does not have online ordering otherwise. You can try to call the restaurant, but that's frustrating because they don't always answer the phone. When my wife arrived to pick up the order, Jose told her that someone else (not either of us) already picked up the order. When she questioned it, the reply was basically "there is nothing I can do about it". Really? You gave our order to someone else and you will not remake the order? Somehow your incompetence is now our problem? I called Uber Eats and they refunded the order and I went to Deli Mexicana instead. Jose acted like it was our fault and refused to make it right. He went on to say since we didn't order from them but rather through Uber Etas, it wasn't their problem. As long as this restaurant employs people with this type of attitude, I will not return. Jose, great job not remaking an order of guacamole. You saved the restaurant a whopping $3 if that in ingredients but I will make sure anyone that asks about Mexican food in the area hears my story. read more

The tacos were good once I added the 2 different sauces on top but the chicken was a little dry. I didn't finish the soup as it wasn't that good with a lot of cheese mixed in it. I live in Memphis. I am not from Mexico City or recently lived in Texas. I cannot compare to all of those enlightened folks who can boast their worldly experience on Mexican food. Fortunately, I have eaten Mexican food in a few different places and can tell you that this is pretty good stuff. I have had too many visits here to tell you that everything is always perfect. Sometimes the staff is distracted and don't pay proper attention. Not good! I have seen fruit flies months ago. That can happen anywhere and they seem to be gone now. Outside of the above stated I have had a few bad chips every once and a while but really overall it is a solid place to eat. Everything is made fresh and is on point from the way they create it. I came here with a friend, and while the atmosphere of the restaurant looks a little careless, they certainly do a good job with food. I got a cheese and chorizo sorta, and it was great. My friend ordered a simple burrito and requested no onions because he's allergic, but there were still onions on the burrito. It also took awhile for food to come out, and it wasn't that crowded, but at least the chips and salsa were really good. The prices for the food were also really cheap, which was awesome; however, drink prices are another story. The cheapest margarita comes in a super small cup. We've been regulars here for years, and end up taking most people who visit us from out of town here at some point and they're never disappointed.
