Service was not good when i went, I also wanted asada fries and a quesadilla but i guess they couldn't make it for whatever reason but can make birra tacos and a cali burrito which has same ingredients. We were lucky enough to host Las Guajolotas at our recent Festival of Mini Musicals. With an audience of over 100 and a limited hour-long intermission, it's not an easy task to feed our guests, however Christian and his team handled it so well! One of the late night food truck options in the Arts district. This truck specializes in tortas. We went over on a sunday night around 1100 pm. We got the carne asada fries, flaming hot dog, taquitos dorados and one carne asada and one al pastor taco. Overall the quality of the food was good, but we only ordered the more standard items. I think next time we'll get more experimental. They actually have some more exotic offerings that you usually don't see on a food truck. They had a chilaquiles torta, a pambazo (it looked like a dipped sandwich). ONe thing to note the flaming hot dog in the picture is basically a LA Danger dog (bacon wrapped hot dog) but they covered it with flaming hot cheetos, the one we got was actually covered in Taki's (still weird, but as you know Taki's and Flaming hots while both are beloved they are not interchangeable!) read more

First off I want to say hands down this was one of the best cuisines I have had from a truck, hired them for an event had 450 peoples and of course the guest brought a couple plus +1 but the guys were able to handle the extra heads and feed everyone! I received so many compliments from the food it was solid 10/10 full of flavor busting from each other dish! The guest were extremely pleased aside from also being hungry, most went back for seconds, it's a family owned and ran business and this guy came with a full swing knocked out it out of the park! Waited in line for 15 minutes. When we got to the front they were sold out of half the items that they had advertised. The wait to get the food was 40 minutes. In total, to order and get one quesadilla, it took an hour! They knew they didn't have enough food or chefs but they kept taking orders. It's possibly the 3rd food truck you will notice if you are wandering the arts district but from their reviews, the might be the best. I've tried 3 of the 4 food/taco trucks in this area and this one is the one I frequent the most due to the fact they're the only one that has churros..... and if they aren't I don't care cause they have THE BEST CHURROS IN THE AREA. My churro companion proclaimed that these are the freshest churros he's ever had. after that statement i've been there more than several times. 2 extendos for $5.48, or 4 for $10. Once i tried their chicken quesadilla, pretty good as well! I enjoy their customer service also and made a pretty decent relationship with staff. The pambazos have to be their best seller because it's exploding with flavor the bread so nicely soaked in whatever spicy sauce they use then toasted filled with chorizo and smashed potatoes drizzled with sour cream cheese and lettuce and to top it off salsa verde it's just the perfect combination of spicy and fresh the kind of spicy that makes you want to eat more.. the only downside is I live in the OC but whenever I get to that pambazo it makes the drive worth it ps.
