Menudo tasted like they didn't wash tripas after parboiling them. Each bite was initially good follow up by an uncomfortable, dirty aftertaste. My verdict: not bad, just mid. The cheese enchiladas? Simple, but executed perfectly! They were reminiscent of a local place I used to frequent when I was a kid, and have ever since compared all enchiladas to.
