Great food at a great price! My coworker took me here for lunch and I ordered the lunch special which ended up being huge! She did a combo plate and we were both satisfied with our meals. I usually don't write reviews but this past Sunday we went to this location for a late lunch. As my wife was almost done she had found hair in her food . We advise the the waitress and was told since you ate the food we can only give a $4.50 discount. Come on really hair in the food and this is what you get? Also we had to ask for refill on the chips and ask for more salsa twice. I have eaten at Las Palmas in Bentoville which is a 5 star rating there, but this location I would advise not to eat here unless you like hair in your food and crappy service. read more

Looked like a decent place but... Margarita was the quality of a lime slush puppy from EZ Mart and the queso was like white cheese wiz skating rink queso. Food was about the same quality. People were there so all I can I guess is that its one of those places where you go because you are too lazy to drive across town. Honestly not sure how the place stays in business. read more

I will never eat there again, and I love Mexican food. I ordered nachos and stressed that I only want chips and cheese. She brought my plate with over half full of vegetables piled over all of my chips. I politely reminded her that I only wanted chips and cheese. She took my plate back to the kitchen. My plate was back at my table in less than a minute. All she did was scrape off what I didn't want. When we walked in no one greeted us or offered us seating. We waited a few minutes till we were approached . Nice atmosphere pitchers of beer n margaritas. The food was good, big portions. American restaurant type Mexican food, not authentic but fresh. The waitress was ok, she disappeared and we waited a long time for her to return. It's a good thing no one in Rogers Arkansas know's what real Mexican food should taste like. The Spanish rice has no taste at all and should be called colored rice. I have had people ask me to see if they would let me cook the Spanish rice for them. Maybe they need to hire a cook that is Mexican. Then you would see the difference. read more

What a disappointment, tacos al cabron to salty for sure. Also got 2 margaritas on the rocks and they came out in different size glasses and the waiter said they hold the same amount it's like one was small and the other one medium. Tried this place yesterday on a whim of remembering the review on here. The store is in a very cool corner spot, brick building dowtown. Dig it. It was also clean as I have seen in a local mexican food joint in NWA. The reason I write this on top of what I noticed from the front of the house area is my prego wife even came back from the restroom and was awed at how clean it was. The service was average even though it seemed slow. It was just starting lunch time on a sunny Saturday. I really liked their hotter salsa. The mild didn't do it for me, altho my wife liked the mild better. Their Queso was so-so(I don't usually rate queso since I don't consider it authentic). Wife didn't like it either and she is the Queso lover. I ordered the Guiso de Res and although I have had more tender Guiso the sauce was very good. Wife had an enchilada of some sort that she liked. And son nibbled on a quesadilla of course(he is 2 and picky as all get out) Overall we enjoyed the experience and will be back to try again. read more

Solid Mexican fare with both traditional and gringo favorites. Margaritas the size of your head - ask for the gigante even if your head is big and you won't be disappointed. To add to previous reviews, I've tried two different fish dishes here (veracruzana and al diabla) and they have both been fantastic. and they come with like half an avocado. The large margaritas are also fun. But my husband got an enchilada a la carte, and it was total Ark-Mex, filled with cheddar and topped with ground beef sauce. Yuck. There food is generally really good though, we go here pretty frequently. That we are willing to drive all across bentonville and rogers to go here, passing probably five other mexican options, speaks well of it. read more

I love this place! The food is always great. Sometimes service at traditional Mexican joints can be slow and not that great, it's a cultural thing, but the service here is usually on point. Can't go wrong with fajitas at most places, but I really love theirs! The drink prices aren't bad either. The lunch menu on Sundays is the best way to work off a good hangover! Don't complain to Caesar, the manager, that you've received cold food on more than one occasion. He will say he remembers you complaining before and will belittle you. Even though there is no compensation other than they remake your food, the belittling makes him feel better. It's fun to eat your food after everyone in your party has already eaten and is waiting for you to finish so they can leave. Oh, oh, it's also fun to watch everyone eat while you wait to flag a server down to tell them your food is cold. But the best part, by far, is being berated by Caesar, the manager, because you have been served cold food on more than one occasion and had the audacity to complain about it. This was the worst Mexican Restaurant I have ever been to. I read the reviews before I went and found many that said it was wonderful and two that said it was canned food heated up in a microwave. The two were right but worse than that. The rst that said it was good have never had good food before. It is hard to believe that in an area of so many people from south of the border that there is not a really good Mexican restaurant anywhere in NWA. Best Mexican Food This Side of The Border ... And I was visiting from San Diego, California which is as close to Mexico as you can get so I'm no stranger to the cuisine. Of the local chains of Mexican food, this one is on par with Acambaro, but not as good as Maria's. They offer a great value for lunch: a lot of food for not a lot of money. Food was average. Service was horrible. Had to wait for water to be brought to the table. We asked for salt for the chips came with the meal. No straws. Asked for corn tortillas was given flour. The server was nice but both of our meals were displeasing. I got the chicken fajitas and on the first bite I bit down on something way too hard. It's turned out looking like a bone. I was starving so I ate just one of the two. The other plate was a spinach enchilada and a cheese enchilada. Wife and I ate here for a quick meal and couldn't have been much more pleased. I had the chicken fajitas and she had some type of fajita burrito that wasn't even on the menu. Service was very attentive, quick, extremely friendly and helpful. The portions were large and the price was more than reasonable.
