Came in here to get dinner on a Friday evening. Was seated right away ordered our drinks and 10 minutes later ordered our food before we got our drinks. This will be the last time we stop at the location. They took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. We ordered 2 molcajetes and 5 tacos de carne asada and a side order of food. When we asked why it was taking so long and other customers that got here after us had already received their food the hostess and waitress were very rude and said that everything is freshly made. Ok, went here for lunch,,,and let me save u time and $$.steer clear from this place,avoid it like the plauge....and heres why,,,,,,the salsa was bitter,icant say why,but something wasnt right with it... it took to much time to get my order,i only have 1/2hr 4 lunch......i was pleasingly surprised at the portion size,however its only lunch and iwpould have preferred a portion half that amount,the price was high$11. So here is the straw that broke the camels back::::: there was an over abundant quantity of salt in the meat...it was so salty almost unedible..The 2 red flags bitter salsa and xtra salty meat was enough of an indicater that someone doesnt know how to cook.. or are they serving left over food from some elses plate? Well i wont be back to find out...wow ive never experienced such a salty taste...im still licking my chops, iwill be washing down water like crazy for the rest of the day....dont say that i didnt warn u...good luck. read more

I barely lest from there ...first of all they take forever to get you food second of all they dont even cook their food right i just ate raw chicken beacuse of them and i dont know what is going to happen to me now but if something does its all their fault!! read more

Run away!! This place was terrible. We went in and were the only ones there. Yet, it took forever to be served. When we did get our food it was not good at all. My wife's chorizo was burned. Some kinds of food are still ok when burned, but not chorizo. We commented to our server that the food was burned (which was easy to see by looking at it) and she neither offered something else or some kind of discount. Did I mention that the beans had pebbles in them? My wife was lucky to have avoided damage to her teeth. Anyone who has cooked beans knows that they need to be checked for rocks right out of the bag. Obviously not these folks. Do yourselves a favor, if you see this restaurant on Valley, just keep driving. You know it had to be bad when I created this account on Yelp just to bag on this place. I have been here twice, one time early in the morning, and everything was great... The server was super attentive and it impossible to not tip her 30% off the check, she was light skin and friendly... The second time we visited in the evening and it was an awful experience. Our server took forever to bring chips and salsa to our table because she was too busy chatting with the guy at the bar, food was cold and it was very hard to catch her attention every time because she was either on her phone or inside the kitchen. Im not sure what the deal is, but there is a huge difference between both shifts, probably management? However, they need to take care of that horrible restroom odor. This place is just awful! The decor is really tacky. The restrooms smell really bad and the smell leaks into the restaurant. I'm a full blooded Mexican and The jukebox is just waaaay too loud. Took the waitress (she was blonde) a long time to attend us because she was too busy texting on her phone or sitting with 2 customers just chit chatting away!. No way this is a "Family Restaurant" the whole outside of restaurant is smothered with Beer and booze advertisements, as well as the inside, beer ads in your face everywhere! We ordered our food hoping it would outshine everything else, WRONG! The food tastes like it comes from a can and not freshly made.The shimp did not smell good at all and were definitely not cleaned. The best part was when the guy trying to sell us bootleg DVD's thought it was ok to put his box on our table and sit in the booth with us. My wife and I couldn't believe how this place stays in business. The worst part of the experience there was the owner, (at least I think he was the owner). He came in and started yelling at eveyone LOUD in the back in another language which was definitely not spanish, I couldn't quite make out what it was. I felt bad for the employees because they came out from the back like little scolded children. It made even the few customers in the restaurant very uncomfotable.
