    Cubana that I dissected. Delicious!!!

This place is the real deal. Their tortas are filled with deliciousness and large. I did a pick up order and the lady in the phone was very nice. We got the super cubana and the chilagas. This place is definitely our go to for delicious tortas.

This is quite possibly the best torta place in Houston in my opinion. It is very reasonably priced with a super cute inside! The tortas were so flavorful and there were so many options to choose from. They also serve their tortas with no lettuce that is more consistent with Mexican style tortas as well as a toastier bread vs more fluffy. The service was great and super quick as well! Parking can be a bit limited as it is in a strip mall, so I guess it depends on the time of day and how busy the other businesses in the area are as well. Overall, this was fantastic! I can't wait to come back again.

Ok so far it's 2 for 2. Welcome back to my reviews.... I found a little Mexican torta place here in houston... After the fiasco that was yesterdays' bfast/brunch (honeyhole) ....nope.... I am glad to have found another great little gem hidden away.... If you all want to eat good food stay away from pretentious downtown kitchy ohhhh it's the newest thing on instagram and web and dive to where the real heart and souls of Houston's real workers eat ... the barrios... (the neighbor hang outs) This place is here on Bingle Rssand OHHHH MYYYY GOD THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE BOMB !!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I need to show my son what I have found here ... the seating is very limited there's parking outside and just about 2-3 bar stands and a little table nothing ohhhh laaaa laaa just good down wholesomeness...(look at pics) In a little tucked away corner of the Huston TX barrio with exquisite smells and yummmms to fill the air and your tummies.... If you don't understand Spanish I suggest you open your phone camera and click and translate (android and apple) both do it... I give this place a solid 10... it's just a simple little hole in the wall you'd never see unless you are looking for it... My torta was amazing yummy hot and flavorful the way a torta is supposed to be. Period. As always you be the judge. Peace out.

Roach on the floor by the eating area and stool.

First time stopping by this location. I'd seen it on TikTok and wanted to give it a try. After ordering my food to go, I sat down to wait for my order. Once I sat down, I noticed a roach on the floor and was disgusted. I told the lady at the register and canceled my order. There was no apology or attempt to make the situation better. One of the employees rolled their eyes at me and proceeded to give me my money back, but she kept the extra three dollars I had left as a tip and didn't return it. I would double-check next time you step in to eat there and make sure it's roach-free.

Got the super cubano to go and it was big and chock full of ingredients. I love tortas and always got them homemade from a Mexican coworker of mine so I was curious to see how a restaurant one would compare. It was pricey for a sandwich but it was delicious and the bread was super soft. The small chipotle sauce that came with it definitely wasn't enough to cover the whole sandwich (barely enough for half) but it added a good kick of flavor.

The torta was yummy! I had the Chilanga and it didn't disappoint. Not cheap as we all would think, pero muy rica!

Nut allergy friendly, none in sight here. This place is like the Lexus of tortas. The food is a 5/5 quick meal but I would say a 4/5 on price. Paying $12 for a torta seems criminal, even if the torta is filled with great ingredients and fluffy yet light bread. Nice that chips are included. Weird that water seems to be an extra charge. I had the Nortena and it was a great torta, but considering I can get a torta for half the price at some other local places, difficult to say if I'd come back regularly. 100% would take someone coming to try an authentic torta.

Nice service and clean place. The food is well-served and delicious. There are other Mexican products that are tasty such as Licuados.

Decided to stop in on Saturday with my husband. I got the hawiana which was great. I love pastor usually with grilled pineapple so I figured why not on a torta. I don't think I've ever been able to eat an entire torta before here without tearing it apart. The bread was soft but not soggy. It was perfectly toasted. My husband devoured his before I even got to try it. Whatever sauces they had on the table were great. The one had a bit of a Smokey taste and the other a bit sweet. There isn't much seating maybe 16 people tops. I'd say that overall it is fairly simple inside. It is more for a quick bite and go type rather than hang out forever. The service was quick. The girl who took out orders along with who I'm assuming was the owner were both bilingual. It was nice since most of the time I feel guilty going to some spots not being able to speak Spanish. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect with no big name across the top going in. But the folks were super nice especially to the random white girl stumbling in. I can't wait to go back and try another one soon.

I parked and an attendant told me it was supposed to be valet... oops! But he let me stay there and then brought me my car back after we ate. The vibe was cute! Very dated (but in a fun Vintage way) ambiance on the outside and very rustic Tex Mex vibe on the inside. They told us it would be 45 minutes and it was probably closer to an hour and 15 but we checked out the market across the street while we waited. We finally got seated and met our waiter, who I believe was named Jose (I should not have waited this long to do my review!) and he was awesome! Funny, attentive, and super friendly. We ordered the Queso Flameado as a starter. I had never had it nor ever seen anything like it but oh my goodness, it was DELICOUS. I ordered the Antiquas (cheese enchiladas) as my main meal and not only were they so good, but the portion size was huge as well. For $17 I definitely got my money's worth! I left full, happy, and would definitely come back the next time I'm visiting Houston. Well worth the wait!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
