April was the nurse that treated me, the procedure was not painful at all, she' explained everything as she was going from one eye to the next. The procedure only took about 30 mins. During my consultation I was told they do Saturday appointments for check ups. Now when I try to schedule an appointment I'm told it's for consultations only. Seems like they just try and get you to get the procedure done and will tell you anything. If I would've been told the truth I would've taken my business elsewhere. Had appointment at 2pm. Prior to my appointment they send me a message to arrive early because of high demand. So I arrived one hour early at 1pm. I noticed no one in waiting room. I checked in and lady told me that they weren't going to attend me till 2pm at my appointment time and if I wanted to wait in waiting room for an hour. I told her about the text message they sent me and didn't care. I canceled my appointment and didn't reschedule. If this is how there are going to treat there patients and make them wait with no one in waiting room I can imagine how it's going to be the rest of the way if I use them for my eye surgery. Had my free consult on 19 November. The doctor was super nice, he was patient with me and answered all my questions and concerns. He did a thorough exam of my eyes and told me I was a good candidate and explained to me the pros and cons. I was impressed with how quick everything was done. My consultation was approximately an hour and a half long. First 2 visits were good maybe would've given them 4 or 5 stars, but wow my third visit seemed like they cared a lo ot less, my appointment was at 9am, it is 10am and I'm writing my review inside laser eye center. Customer service is really bad nobody seemed to care and they hesitated to give me drops that the doctor said I needed and when asked if I can just get the prescription they said oh you will still have to wait for a doctor either way they want to make me wait. Although my surgery went well and the actual surgeon for the procedure was excellent, I only saw her during surgery. The ladies at the front desk are always welcoming but I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them with the follow up appointment dates. For my 2 week follow up they wanted me to come in the morning during the week. I had already requested time off for the actual surgery and my work requires a 3 week notice for time off and not only that I'm not going to keep using my PTO hours to accommodate the office. I get off work at 3 and asked if there were any evening appointments and there were not so I asked for a weekend appointment and the lady at the front ( I believe she is the finance or manager) scolded me and said we can do 8am on a Saturday but don't be late! I was confused as the answering machine on the phone states they have weekend appointments available for our convenience. So I took the Saturday appointment and as I'm done talking with the doctor he advises me that they can no longer accommodate my weekend appointments and that I need to come in on a weekday. So I tried to make my appointment for my 1 month follow up at the front desk. I ask for a Monday availability they say they don't do Mondays so I ask for Tuesday and she says yes at 2pm. So I got home request a half day from work for that day ahead of time and I just received a call a few days before my appointment that they can't do Tuesday so my appointment was moved to Monday. I was able to make a weekend appointment but again was told it was a one time thing. I'm frustrated because I paid a lot of money for this procedure but yet I feel like I received this procedure for free and I'm inconveniencing them. I'm not understanding whats going on with the scheduling at this clinic but I'm ready to be done having to schedule appointments just to feel bad about it after. read more

I was very nervous walking into the office but was met with amazing staff. Edith (I think that was her name can't remember, something with an E) was absolutely an amazing person. She made me feel so at ease, we laughed, made jokes and she explained every test before we did it. Half the battle for me is feeling comfortable and if the staff is cold and off-putting I would've left without a second thought. But they made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The doctor who examined me was matter-of-fact but had a pleasant demeanor. The financial officer Hala was amazing as well! Very funny and she's trilingual, how cool is that? i loved the fact she didn't jerk us around. She told us the price and was straightforward. I got there at 11 and left at 1:30, but the time went by very fast, just plan for it taking a couple hours. Scheduled my surgery for this Wednesday so I'll come back to update this review. read more

We had an appointment here at the Ontario location on 01/22/2022 at 2pm. We got here 30 minutes early and the door where closed. We called the # provided on the website for the Ontario location an no one was able to help. Bad costumer service. Both north and south side door are locked. No one in site an nobody to call. While getting surgery the staff instructed me and warned me of what was going to happen during the procedure so that I am aware. They were very comforting throughout my surgery and helped guide me on what to do during my recovery. I am shocked at the results because the very same day I had surgery, I was able to see everything, my eyes are just very heavy and sore of course but that is part of the healing process. I could not be happier with laser eye center. I went to the Ontario location and the people are great. Today was my final follow up appointment and my eyes are fully upgraded for life... I now have 20/15 vision and no more prescription lenses. I see color brighter and clearer than I ever have, and textures more vividly. If they offer you contoura, take the upgrade. It is only a small cost compared to the ocular upgrade of your life. Oh yeah, and they have 3 different finance companies (including wells fargo) that all offer to finance your eye surgery at 0% interest on a 3 yr payment plan. You just can't beat that. I used to squint until my head hurt... since my ocular upgrade I have never squinted again. read more

TERRIBLE! My appointment was at 9 am and I waited for 6 HOURS for surgery. Got the coupon from Amazon Local. I was told that I had to pay for the higher priced surgery. My eye qualified for the procedure on the on coupon, but they were pushing for the more expensive one. I refused but this Amazon deal still only pays for half of the surgery cost. I had to pay that much more out of pocket. The staff were very unprofessional and rude. I did not feel safe to do such sensitive surgery here. They were mechanical people who showed no interest in your pain or customer service. The doctor did not seem to care if I was in pain either. During surgery when I was in pain, he reminded me that the procedure wouldn't have hurt if I paid for the more expensive one. THANKS! Long waits with the follow visits too. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I got my surgery done 4 months ago. My office experience was mediocre. I didn't have long wait times, but the communication definitely has room for improvement. While I am grateful I don't have to wear my glasses anymore, and I didn't have a botched surgery and end up blind, I am a bit disappointed that I now have double vision when Im not staring straight ahead. I know you sign off on all these possible scenarios, and things could be worse, but anytime I look to the corner of my eyes, it's double vision. I brought it up during my last follow up and the doctors response was, "You more than likely had it before the surgery, you're just now noticing it" Um, no. The only other thing that made me uncomfortable was, during the surgery, as the doctor is sponging over my eyes after they put my flap back, he didn't sponge over on my left eye like he did on my right eye. So when he inspected my eyes after, he stated my left eye was dry and I'd need to leave with a contact on it to help with the healing. Well of course its dry, he didn't sponge that one like he did to my right eye. The contact could have possibly been avoided. My eyes also take a few minutes to adjust when switching from looking at my phone or computer screen at work to looking up in the distance.. Its blurry. I'm sure these things might be expected or normal, or maybe not? Just sharing my experience. read more
