The revolving door of managers, nurses, and receptionists do not help their poor management of client records. I participated in a few of their in-store seasonal promos and the front desk staff here verbally confirmed that they had added to my account with 2 complimentary facials for my participation, and that I would be good to use them at any time as per their overall highly-visible and marketed "no expiration" company policy. The staff never gave me any receipt nor written terms, nor did I know to ask since I greenly assumed they would be trustworthy and would have no reason to lie or shortchange me. Which then led LaserAway to deny me the facials rather than take accountability for their poor management and lack of training of staff who apparently were supposed to have responded differently by providing a receipt to me. When I tried to clear up the matter with the West Hollywood office where the staff I had fulfilled the promo deal with were based, none of the (all-new) staff were knowledgeable or helpful to figure out what their predecessors had supposedly done for my account. This experience has only shown me that their promos or offers are not legitamitely worth participating in since it is near impossible to redeem and they cannot be accountable to their word.

I genuinely despise the fact that I have to write this. However, I have to warn you please do not go to LaserAway. After two years of disappointment and fighting for my money back I have to write this horrible experience and share it. For my first initial consult, they had got me to do the Clear and Brilliant and the eye treatment with the Thermage for 3000$. Before I even left the building they had billed my credit card for services not even yet rendered (I didn't know this till much later). I then proceeded to sit in a room for over an hour with numbing cream on my face and wanted to walk out 1 million times I'm so sorry that I didn't walk out. So they didn't Clear and Brilliant procedure. I saw zero results there is nothing to indicate that this procedure is in anyway shape or form beneficial to my face. As I look at the poster boards I saw very little results on the patients that they were displaying "results". Two weeks later I was scheduled to come back for the Thermage. Frankly, I didn't want to do it still I also didn't like the way that my eyes looked and I wanted results. Which LA promised me. Something told me in the back of my head that this wasn't gonna work yet I was convinced after a few phone calls that this was going to be the right procedure for me. A week after I did a procedure Laser Way ran a special for their Thermage. I was beyond angry because it was more than 50% of what I had paid. When I called to complain about the fact that I had just paid for a procedure that went on sale they were not willing to do anything about it. So I go ahead with the procedure. And wait six months for results. And nothing. I am mean nothing. So I called them and I said I want my money back and they wouldn't give me my money back they convinced and promised me that they did it they would do it with a new technique because the previous technique did work. WOW, no kidding. Ashley the woman who helped me over the phone was less than helpful. She was rude to me but further made me sign a waiver to do a second treatment. She also had me talk to a rep who again promised me the new technique would yield results. The whole time each one of the women I had to talk to promised me up-and-down the block that I would see results. I showed up to the appointment and they didn't ask for the waiver but me being a good human noted that I need to sign the waiver and did. I WISH I HAD NOT. So I took another appointment in six months later zero results. Not only did they tech burn me she was inconsistent with how she covered my eye but also with the levels. At this point I'm furious, I show up for the consult and the woman who took my photos says I should get my money back. When I reach out to Ashley she sends me an email offering me another treatment which then gets recalled and then sends another email saying that they're not giving me my money back in and that they are free and clear of doing anything more for me at this point. That sorry I am unhappy with the results and they can't guarantee results. They're liars I would never go back again, I cannot recommend them in any way shape or form. PLEASE GO WHERE YOU WILL GET REAL CARE! NOT HERE. Note to self - all their advertising on IG and Yelp reviews are with PAID influencers that are models and don't need any work. read more

I'm leaving this review to share my harrowing experience at the Laseraway location on Santa Monica Blvd this past May. I had two extremely negative encounters with them, and despite their promise not to charge me due to violations of my patient rights, they are still sending me bills. I've explained multiple times that I've been out of work for months and cannot pay, but they persist. I have a skin condition called cellulitis/staph, and both an urgent care doctor and my primary care physician recommended that I see a dermatologist. I informed the front desk about my condition before arriving and again after I got there. Despite this, the doctor told me that the tests I needed would take too long and advised me to go to a hospital instead, claiming they would perform the tests immediately. He knew this before even seeing me but still charged me for the visit without providing any treatment. I then went to UCLA Reagan Hospital, where I waited outside in a tent for nine hours in the cold, only to be told that my condition needed to be handled by a dermatologist. They explained that it wasn't something they were equipped to treat. Two days later, after my insurance informed me that tests were approved for the dermatologist, I returned to his office and paid a second specialist fee, even though he had done nothing to treat me during the first visit. During this second appointment, he abruptly pulled out a giant needle and said he would be removing chunks of my skin. I was completely blindsided. I had not been given any information, a debrief, or informed consent beforehand. No paperwork about local anesthesia was provided, and no one asked whether I might be allergic. I was not warned about undergoing a surgical procedure or being administered anesthesia. This lack of communication was deeply unprofessional and dangerous. I decided to leave without undergoing the procedure. However, they refused to refund me and forced me to sign a refusal of treatment form. After speaking with another medical professional, I learned that my rights as a patient had been violated. Despite Laseraway's promise not to bill me due to these violations, they continue to send me bills. This entire experience was stressful, unethical, and financially burdensome. Patients deserve better treatment and accountability from medical professionals. read more

I love how they had the time to flag my review, yet have not emailed me back. i HAVE dealt with this business through phone calls and Ive emailed Taylor from ""customer concierge"" still waiting for a reply! be useful and try to come up with a reasonable solution for my un-used groupon voucher. ****this is my original review, idk why it was flagged and deleted by yelp... this place is just a no. i payed for a laser treatment i was curious on trying on groupon. when i called to make an appointment to get it done the receptionist told me, my skin needed to be "analyzed" before getting it done. she said dont wear makeup, wash your face and no tanning before, i said cool. i made an appointment went in for the "skin consultation" which was basically the receptionist trying to sell me package deals from 2,500! she keep showing me all these different packages ranging from 2500 and up and was so pushy. i said why would i pay for a package of 6 when i don't know if the laser will work or be compatible with my skin? i said is anyone going to do my "skin consultation" so we can move forward with my procedure i already payed for? she made it seem like a license doctor was going to check the over all health of my skin and recommend treatment on the phone and go from there... she said oh im checking it just by looking at you. i said really? such a big waste of my time, such a joke. never been back. spoke to a lady on the phone and she said they will "get back to me" well see the outcome. read more

BE CAREFUL!! When trying anything cosmetic or beauty related GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Don't let the fake staff fool you; they only want your money. Don't allow them to pressure you into HORRIBLE pricing on everything they offer. Google the company and you'll see the countless number of lawsuits they are under from undertrained staff using machine that's have hurt clients, leaving scarring and bruising, using wrong equipment on procedures and the list goes on. If any of the managers OLIVIA or KATHERINE contact you, ask to speak to a supervisor in corporate and if CAMILLA ENG (fake in-house legal representative) contacts you ask for her supervisor. These 3 only look out for each other and the company. If you try to explain any issues they will lie and deny any wrong doing, give you a run around (if they even contact you bsck) then ban you from the company without refund. If I can stop ANYONE from making the same mistake as I did by trusting this HORRIBLE company with my body; it would have been worth all the torture, mishandling, misinformation, abuse and waste of my time and money. read more

I have been struggling with acne and acne scars since I was a teen until I discovered the clear and brilliant laser treatment at Laseraway. I wasn't sure whether a laser treatment would help, but thanks to Eric's honest advice, I made the purchase of a clear and brilliant package and even had my first treatment done the same day when I only walked into the store by passing. I have done two/three treatments and have seen results instantly, ESPECIALLY right after my first treatment. Holly, one of the RNs, did my treatments. She had very gentle hands and I barely experienced any pain. She also very thoroughly expressed my after care treatment. I highly recommend her and I will make sure to request her for my third treatment, too! My skin is GLOWING and I could not be more happier. I wish I did this sooner. read more

I tried the "fire and ice" laser and it made NO difference on my skin. Should of read the reviews on here, as it was extremely expensive! They also claim you see "immediate results" in most of the treatments but this is a complete lie. When I brought this up and asked for a refund (for the treatments I will no longer use), it was ignored, and reading the reviews I doubt ill get any of my money back. Should of listen to my instinct and NOT bought a package but I felt pressured as they insist that you come in for a "consultation" I also agree with the reviews questioning the 5 star ratings, as I never got a superb service or results. the employees seemed unimpressed and seem like small questions bothered them when asked. It was my first time visiting this location as places started to open up again post-covid. I was blown away from the level of genuine customer service. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was super sweet and he took my temperature, which I was happy to see they were taking precautions seriously. I recently had my second laser tattoo removal session with Jessica, and a new nurse at their Robertson location. The service I received from both nurses was outstanding; they went above and beyond for me. Prior to the session, they explained in great detail the process, regardless of it being my second time around. Furthermore, during the session both nurses ensured that I was tolerating the pain. Beware! Beware! This business has 218 complaints on the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Should of researched this place before getting treatment. Went in for a Thermage treatment for my face which was incredibly painful btw. After 6 months i see NO results. Worst $2,500 i've ever spent.. for nothing. I am so happy with my results from my Thermage session. It made such a difference with my jawline. I am 51 years old and I feel like i've noticed tightness within 6 months of my first session. It's recommended to do it once for best result, however they had a bogo deal; so I am super excited to get a touch up to maintain the results. Nurse Holly was the best!! I appreciated that Irene who performed the procedure talked me through her every move and checked with me often throughout the whole process. It was very comforting. She was confident and gentle at the same time. I had enough downtime to recover after the procedure with some miracle mask that helped a lot with redness and heat. I also got detailed post-care instructions as a follow up text, which was helpful and thoughtful, and someone followed up with me on the next day. The office was small, but very clean, organized, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional. I must note competitive pricing - especially for the area. Overall, really great experience and I will be back for more.

Unfortunately, I returned for microneedling and PRP and had a completely different experience. I specifically explained that I did not want filler anymore, and PRP was recommended instead. The nurse applied PRP around the sides of my upper cheek area, which I deeply regret. Afterward, I learned that many providers do not inject PRP into the cheeks this way at all, which makes me question why this treatment was recommended and performed in that area in the first place. At first, the result seemed fine, but over time the volume changed and appears to have shifted into other areas. The worst part is that, unlike filler, I can't simply have it dissolved. When I contacted the clinic, instead of offering to evaluate the problem or help find a solution, they suggested I may have had the procedure somewhere else. I know exactly where I had it done, and if another clinic had done it, I would obviously be contacting that provider instead. Regardless of whether they agree with my concerns, I believe a clinic should take a patient seriously when they report an unwanted result from a procedure performed there. I would like them to acknowledge the situation, properly evaluate what happened, and work with me toward a solution rather than questioning my account of where the treatment was performed.

I arrived on time and was left waiting for almost 50 minutes, only for my appointment to suddenly be CANCELLED . The explanation I was given was honestly shocking. I was told I could not receive the laser facial because my moisturizer "contains acids" (which actually don't) and that I would need to wait TWO WEEKS before being treated. The cream in question is a basic barrier repair moisturizer containing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and fatty acids, common hydrating and skin barrier ingredients found in countless moisturizers, including products often recommended after cosmetic procedures and laser treatments. Calling these ingredients "unsafe acids" showed a very concerning LACK OF EDUCATION and professionalism from someone performing cosmetic laser treatments! And if this truly is their policy, then clients should absolutely be warned BEFORE the appointment that they must stop using products containing hyaluronic acid or similar ingredients for two weeks. Most skincare products and moisturizers today contain these ingredients, so this is not some unusual or rare situation. None of this was mentioned while booking, during confirmation, or even while I sat there waiting almost an hour. The entire situation felt extremely disorganized and honestly more like an excuse for running behind schedule than a legitimate medical concern. There are many professional laser clinics in Los Angeles, and unfortunately this location did not inspire confidence, professionalism, or trust. I will definitely not be returning.

I got a Groupon for IPL treatment at this med spa…read more I've read and watched a few videos, where IPL was used to treat broken capillaries and this was the main reason I wanted to try it. I have a few clusters around my nose and just a little bit on my chin. Nothing too bad. I also had some post acne hyperpigmentation on my chin, that IPL is supposed to be perfect for. At the appointment they kept saying how they have this other device that would be perfect for treating my broken capillaries, that's called Hyfrector 2000. I knew absolutely nothing about that thing, so I tried to ask some questions and in response I got something like "oh, sure looks like you've never done anything like that before" like I am asking too many questions. In the end she said it's very safe and it would only be $75 with their special (she later changed it to $100). And with my stupid logic "what the hell, I am here already" I agreed. Turns out it's not any kind of laser I imagined, but a needle that heats up and destroys tissue (usually used for removing skin tags, warts etc). It was painful even after numbing and that needle is way to thin to target all that redness around my nose, so she ended up only treating 20% of the problem, which is a good thing, because after scabbing heeled I was left with SCARS, which as you imagine much worse and more visible than broken capillaries! The woman, who was doing the procedure seemed unconfident in every movement, her hands were shacking a little, and she didn't even have decent lighting. So in one area, which she especially focused on, after 1 month of healing I have a hole in my skin, she most likely overly treated that area. I am not even sure if it helped with broken capillaries, because it's all darkened now. As for IPL, she started doing it already and then asked: "you don't use retinol, right?". I said I stopped using it for 3 days, she turned of the machine and said we need to reschedule, because it's best not to use it for a week. I appreciate the cautiousness , but could have warned me, when I was making my appointment. I came back for IPL and I had absolutely zero results from it. Not even my dark spot from acne lightened.
