    It is known that laser hair removal works differently for each person. I am glad to say that I have been experiencing great results and there is no more ingrown hair. I purchased a package during Black Friday and received a discount. Priori to that I used to wax my body and at some point it stopped working the way it used to. When I calculated how much I spent on waxing my entire body in the span of one year compared to how much I spent on laser treatment for full body, I realized that laser hair removal isn't as expensive as we all hear. The difference is the payment for laser treatment is often paid upfront. LaserAway also offers payment plan. During the past year I got to know some of the nurses who work in Milpitas location and most of them are such sweet people. I would definitely recommend LaserAway for people who want to explore this treatment.

    I would give the Milpitas location a zero star if I could. I had my appointment at 5.30pm today (Tuesday, they close at 6pm, they usually close at 7/8pm). I've previously had them cancel on me for being 6-7 minutes late. The receptionist desk had two assistants Nadia and Nicole, who checked me in and made me wait 26 minutes to tell me that they're behind and could not accommodate me and to get me rescheduled. I insisted on having the appointment done so after some back forth they took me in. The nurse (Jasmine) took me and got me setup. She said she was using the same setting as always and started my treatment. She tested out 3 different settings on my right hand and it was too high so told me she was reducing the treatment settings, the first 3 attempts hurt a lot and left burn marks and she said it was nothing and would go away. 4th attempt at a reduced setting she continued through the rest of the Arm and I insisted the pain was getting worse. She then reduced it to a setting that felt as normal as always and continued till she finished the rest of the treatment (this session was for both full arms). Towards the end of treatment few minutes later, my right arm was hurting terribly and I was queasy. The nurse then accepted the marks were actual burns and proceeded to put aloe and lotion on it. The nurse agreed I need to visit a doctor but they couldn't take me. I was not okay to drive. As I walked out there was only Nicole at the front desk who visibly looked amused. They were closing at 6pm, it was around 6.20pm at the time they asked me to leave, see a doctor if needed and that my next appointment could be scheduled later. The nurse escorted me back to my car. I called the LaserAway number online 888-264-1525 and requested medical assistance and help to file a complaint. This was as I waited in the car for my husband to come take me to the doctor as I typed this message using my left hand. The person at the end of this line said, my director will call you back and disconnected. 45 minutes later, no call back from LaserAway. This is the worst experience I've ever had. See burn marks for reference. I will be escalating this further. (Experience documented here is just the gist, actual interactions were worse)

    Place looks modern, bright, clean, inviting. Enough parking on the opposite side of the street. Nurses Carrie and Lydia were a delight to work with in my first two appointments. They took exemplary care and made even better conversation to distract away from any pain. The level of pain depends on the coarseness of hair, for me, it was generally minimal except certain parts on chest (I am a guy). The actual procedures was pretty efficient, takes 60% of the allotted time. No adverse reactions afterwards. Everyone's friendly and smiling, keeping the patients positive. Overall, glad to visit Laser Away Milpitas, would recommend.

Only that my right brow was significantly thinner than my left. Other people see the difference between them both . I'm not trying to complicated just honest. My brow are not tense or lifted. The staff was sweet and kind, and Corinna herself was very nice, which is why this review is bittersweet for me. I truly wanted to have a good experience, but unfortunately my results were very disappointing--especially considering the amount I paid. During my first visit, the procedure was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had because there seemed to be a lack of care for my comfort. I was not offered any numbing cream, and I was in significant pain throughout the entire appointment. Before coming here, I already had nice eyebrows done by another professional--I simply wanted a touch-up to make them a little darker and slightly thicker in the middle. Instead, I was charged $700 as though this were my first full brow procedure, despite already having existing work done. I was also charged an additional $100 for "nano" work that was not done deeply enough, and it completely faded away once the scabbing healed. Another major issue was that she shaved parts of my natural eyebrows that should never have been touched. I expected only the small hairs underneath my brow to be cleaned up, but instead more of my natural brow was removed. I carefully followed all aftercare instructions, yet the pain in my eyebrows lasted nearly three weeks. Most importantly, she did not follow the shape I requested. I specifically wanted my brows to remain similar to what I already had--slightly thicker in the middle--not higher, not more pointed, and not thinner. Unfortunately, that is exactly what she changed. I let it go after the first visit, hoping the touch-up would correct things. Sadly, the second visit made everything worse. I returned because the nano strokes had disappeared and my brows still did not look darker--as if I had barely had anything done despite spending so much money. During the touch-up, even more of my right eyebrow was shaved off, making it much thinner and more pointed than it has ever been in my life. I walked out looking like I had overly thin 1990s brows, which was absolutely not what I wanted. Now my right brow is noticeably thinner and more pointed, while my left brow was left thicker and more intact. I am literally walking around with two uneven eyebrows after paying $800 total. This was a very expensive service for me, and I trusted this business with my face. Two years ago, I paid another professional in San Jose much less, and the results were beautiful. I came here expecting the same level of expertise and care, and unfortunately that was not my experience. Again, the staff was kind, and this is difficult to write because everyone was pleasant--but kindness alone does not make up for poor results, pain, and leaving a client with uneven brows after such an expensive service.This version is strong, credible, and more likely to be taken seriously by readers and the business.

When it was time for my appointment I stood up and accidentally left my wallet on the bench. I went to my appt, went home and realized I left my wallet somewhere! I called and asked the very helpful and sweet FD staff to check the bench for me. They called me back and said they found my wallet!! I was so thankful! They went above and beyond for me!     On December 4, 2025, I walked into the Fremont office to schedule a Thermage Treatment. I was told…read morethat if I paid for two treatments, I would get better results. I paid for two treatments for a total of $1,600.00. First treatment was on December 20, 2025. Nurse warned me that it would be painful at times which it was, but I figured as long as the results were visible in the end it would be okay. It has been five months since and unfortunately; I have not seen any difference. The website states six months for a difference, I don't foresee a change in the next month. On 5/25/28 I made and confirmed my second appointment for 5/29/26. On 5/26/26 I received a text saying there was an issue with my appointment for me to call (510) 402-1150. Instead of calling on 5/26/2026, I scheduled and confirmed a second appointment for 5/28/2026, I figured it was my error since the calendar was showing available appointments. On the same day I got a text saying there was an issue with my appointment, for me to call the above number. I called the number and a guy with no phone skills, with the voice of a dial tone, who sounded so depressed. A guy who I would pray never works for a public service or emergency hotline. I told him why I was calling, his reply was "I tried calling you," that was a lie, I did not have any missed calls or voicemails from him. Without a solid explanation he said the Fremont Office did not have any appointments available for the month of May or June. I thought for sure I was out of $800.00. I asked him what I was supposed to do to which he replied, go to a different office. He then started naming all offices. Now why would I drive two hours when the Fremont Office is 10 minutes from my home? Why not start with the closest offices. I asked him when the soonest appointment was for the Milpitas Office. He put me on a brief hold, came back and said let me call you back. He never called me back. I had to call the Milpitas Office to schedule the appointment myself. The lady who scheduled the appointment was totally different, friendly, with excellent phone skills. The next day I called back to get the name of the employee who never called me back and had the personality of a doorknob. One thing I found out for sure is that my phone number was clearly showing in the system. Every time I called, they sure knew my name, and every time I asked to get transfer to the Fremont Office my call would either drop, or I would get an answering machine. I tried that for about five times to no avail. I had to use a different phone to be able to get transferred to the Fremont Office and even then, the person who answered was very adamant on knowing who I was. When I was finally got transferred, the lady who answered at the Fremont Office was very nice, totally different. She was able to explain that they had recently lost a nurse and as a result the office had no appointments available to a while. I asked her for the name of the guy who had worked the day before and she went silent. I asked her again for his name, and once again she went silent. I asked her a third time for his name and she finally said "Daniel, his name is Daniel". I'm pretty sure Daniel was informed that I called because he called me a couple of hours later and left a voicemail. His message said, I'm calling to find out if you want numbing cream. If you do call the Milpitas Office don't call me. Now, if you are not calling to apologize or to provide any type of customer service, why even call. At my age, results are a priority. Customer Service is also at the top of my list. However, when you don't get any results and customer service is below satisfaction the Fremont Office needs serious attention. To some people $1,600.00 is not a lot of money for others, it is; it is all about how one gets treated. I am hopeful the Milpitas Office will deliver better Customer Service and Results.
