I arrived at approximately 2:50 PM and was told by a front desk associate that my appointment had been canceled because I supposedly did not respond to a text message or phone call regarding moving my appointment to an earlier time. I explained that I had never received either. She then stated that, on their end, the text showed as "read," so they proceeded with canceling my appointment without receiving any actual confirmation from me. I showed her the most recent text I had received from SEV, which was regarding completing my forms, which I had already done. After seeing how understandably upset I was, she told me they could squeeze me in. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve from there. The nurse who performed my treatment was not pleasant or welcoming and provided very limited information. Given the confusion and frustration surrounding my appointment, I would have appreciated some reassurance, professionalism, and basic bedside manner. Instead, I felt uncomfortable and rushed, as though I was simply another number. Additionally, an area of my forehead appears to have been missed due to the headband I was instructed to wear during the procedure. At checkout, I was told their payment kiosk was not working, so a payment link would be sent to my phone. The link never arrived, so it was eventually sent to my email instead. At that point, I asked the front desk associate to confirm which phone number they had on file. She read the number back to me, and it was NOT my phone number. She then corrected it. What makes this especially frustrating is that SEV had previously been able to text my correct phone number regarding my forms, yet when they attempted to contact me about modifying my appointment, they were apparently using a completely different number. Despite contacting the wrong number, they canceled my appointment because they claimed the message showed as "read." I find it completely unacceptable to cancel or change a patient's scheduled appointment without actually receiving confirmation from the patient especially when the office was contacting the wrong phone number. The entire experience was handled poorly and lacked the professionalism, courtesy, communication, and bedside manner I would expect from a medical aesthetics practice. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed rather than cared for as a patient. The price was fair and the location was aesthetically nice. Unfortunately, based on overall experience, I will not be returning to this location.

This company is absolutely horrible. I started my Brazilian treatment a year ago, and have completed my treatments. Never missed an appointment, followed before/after care instructions, etc. I mentioned about halfway thru that I didn't think it was working very well (I didn't notice ANY results) and that they hadn't lasered my labia area (sorry TMI) AT ALL, but I was brushed off and told to just keep coming back. So I did. Because of COVID, I was forced to take a 5 month hiatus (obviously nobody's fault) but they stress the importance of not missing appointments and when we got back to it, what little results I had, completely disappeared. Finally, we got to my last treatment, and the nurse asked how it had been going and I expressed my concerns about it not working, COVID messing up the progress, etc... she takes a look at my chart, then at my skin and said they've been using the wrong skin profile the WHOLE TIME. She ups my profile from a 2 to a 3 and tells me to call customer service and they'll for SURE have me do extra, comped, treatments. I felt good about that. I followed her instructions, called customer service and was told to let the hair grow for two weeks and get a consultation. I was only able to let it grow for one week, went in for my consult with a very hairy "situation".... the nurse who saw me said exactly what you'd think a script would say: looks like you've seen 70-80% results and in her "graduate studies" it allows her professional opinion that I should be happy with what I got. Uhhhh what? It doesn't take a Masters degree to SEE that I was still very hairy, especially around my labia. She argued with me back and forth, and I asked to have another nurse come evaluate and she said straight up, NO. So I talked to the gal at the front desk, and she reassured me AGAIN that corporate would take care of me and to not worry. Corporate never called me back. I called FIVE MORE TIMES, then Katrina emails me a SUPER dismissive email saying that she's "excited I've seen 80% reduction and that's what they aim for. Some ppl are just more hairy and that's the best results I can get.... BUT here's 55% off if I wanna get more treatments" WHAT A JOKE. I was adamant that I didn't see anywhere CLOSE to 80% reduction (and really, B-work for a company that promised REMOVAL not REDUCTION is ridiculous in and of itself), and that I was disappointed that nobody called me like I was promised. By the way, she got my name wrong LOL. So I call AGAIN three more times. Obviously furious and super frustrated, and the gal at the front desk answers and apologized and promised they would make it right and they are in the business of "making people happy and they want the best results"... nobody called me back. Finally last night I get an email from Katrina AGAIN, dismissing me, offering the 55% and then saying I've had an issue with "tanning" noted in my profile. Absolutely not true, and never was I turned away for being "too tan"... I'm beyond appalled at how they've handled my case. Beware booking Brazilians with them. They promise the world to get you to sign up and pay quickly, then tell you when it doesn't work that "hormones" could be the cause and some parts just don't work... uhhhh you should have told me that in the first place, don't ya think? Their customer service is absolutely horrible. God forbid it's not working for you. They offer no sympathy, no help, and no refund. Absolutely awful. I would NEVER go back, except the fact that I paid for legs and underarms in full, which I can't get a refund for either, even tho I'm not finished with the treatments. I'm sharing my experience so others can make a fully informed decision before committing financially. I purchased a Thermage package and financed it through Health Care Finance Direct (HFD.) During my first treatment, the provider began at lower energy levels and gradually increased the joules, explaining that higher settings are necessary to achieve therapeutic results. As the energy increased, the pain became extremely intense. I could not tolerate the recommended joule levels required for optimal results. Because of the discomfort, the settings had to be reduced to a lower level. I later learned that lowering the joules meant the treatment would likely not reach therapeutic effectiveness. I did not immediately complain. I understood that Thermage results take time, and I waited approximately 3.5 months -- the timeframe I was told results would begin to appear. After waiting the full period, I saw no visible improvement. At that point, I reached out to express my concerns. I was told that the treatment can feel "spicy" and that pushing through higher energy levels is often necessary for best results. I did not appreciate that I was told by a representative to just push through the pain. However, the pain at those levels was not something I could physically tolerate, but after the treatment was done they ran away with my money. To make matters worst, if you get any loan through LaserAway, the financial bank will side with LaserAway as they state they have not authority to overturn their decision. Even after I there were no results and the pain was intolerable. High way robbery. I ultimately decided not to proceed with additional treatments because I could not endure the energy levels required to achieve meaningful results. LaserAway cancelled the remaining unused services and issued a partial refund, but I was still held responsible for the cost of the initial treatment -- even though it could not be performed at therapeutic levels due to pain tolerance and resulted in no visible improvement after the full waiting period. My concern is not simply that "results may vary." My concern is that patients should clearly understand before purchasing that optimal results may require tolerating significant discomfort at higher energy levels, and that if you cannot tolerate those levels, you may still be financially responsible even if no results occur. If you don't have a high threshold for pain, I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about: * Expected pain intensity * Required joule levels for results * What happens if you cannot tolerate those levels * Financial obligations if results are not achieved Make sure you are fully comfortable with both the physical and financial commitment before proceeding. I recently had a procedure at this clinic a few weeks ago and finally am getting around to posting my review. Overall I was content with my experience here. It was my first time at this location and i only went to the sac location because i was told a nurse i had previously only works there now. While they tell you that you can't be specifically scheduled with a nurse i was lucky enough to get Hannah again. She is always extremely professional, kind, and educational! I don't think I've ever had another nurse as thorough with my procedure as her. There were a few other issues with my visit regarding scheduling and confusion on the end of some team members, but Hannah was able to address everything and salvage my visit. Before my time with her that day I was planning on a 1 star review! I can't wait to go back and hopefully have Hannah as my provider again! read more

I am SO happy that I decided to take the plunge and sign up for laser hair removal! I had been thinking about it for years but didn't really believe it would work, and so I was nervous about the decision. But after talking with Traci at length about the service I decided to give it a try. And the results have been amazing! I've since also tried some of their other services, such as the clear and brilliant treatment, and have been just as happy with the results. Traci has been so supportive and helpful throughout, and the nurses are all wonderful too. I've always been treated very warmly by the team and they get you in and out promptly. I swear, every time I use Laseraway my service just gets better and better. My nurse today was Tanzy, she was sure to hear my concerns prior to treatment. I needed a few areas targeted more intensely due to hormonal hair grown (I'm diagnosed with PCOS). She focused on those areas and read my body language so well. Just had my first hair removal treatment today. The treatment was easy and painless and am looking forward to seeing the changes as I move through my treatments. I recently had the pleasure of getting my laser hair removal and clear and brilliant treatment with Nurse Tanya. I could not recommend this clinic and her enough! I was greeted immediately after entering and was offered coffee or water right away. Tanya was my nurse and she is hands down the BEST! I would recommend trying to request her! What disappointed me even more was how my concern was handled afterward. I called on day 12 after my treatment because I was worried about the changes in my face and wanted someone to evaluate what had happened. Instead of feeling heard or supported, I was turned away and told that it had not been two weeks yet. I understand that Botox can take approximately two weeks to fully settle, but when a long-term customer is reporting significant facial asymmetry and is distressed about the outcome, I expected more concern, communication, and willingness to evaluate the situation. I have trusted LaserAway with my treatments since 2023, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I went in expecting a cosmetic treatment and instead left dealing with facial asymmetry right before my birthday vacation. The lack of support when I reached out afterward made the experience even worse. Dr. Zachary is a phenomenal physician that sadly is finishing up his fellowship. The space is clean, stylish, and up on all cutting edge treatments such as ultra clear laser treatments. Always greater when I come in and offered a bottled water or other comfort when I check in for appointment. I've tried a few different clinics in the surrounding region but this is my go to and preferred clinic in Sacramento.
