LaserAway's laser hair removal treatment has been incredible, with excellent service for my underarm and facial hair removal. The procedure is quick and smooth. Kudos to my nurse, Rebecca, who is very professional and does an outstanding job. The receptionist, Missy, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly. I'm on my fourth session of laser hair removal for my underarms and face, and I highly recommend LaserAway. Above and beyond!

My appt was at 3pm. I paid over ten grand for two series of treatments for total body hair removal and a new facial rejuvenation therapy. I checked in twenty minutes early and was put in a treatment room just after 3pm. It is now 3:30 and I have yet to see my nurse. My first laser treatment was at the Concord location, where I was in my treatment room with laser treatment started within ten minutes of arrival. I left after waiting half an hour to start my treatment. I will reschedule at the concord location.

I just did lip filler for the first time and Carmen couldn't have made me feel more at ease. She took her time to walk me through the entire process, made sure I asked all my questions, and she was so patient and nurturing. this review is specifically for cathryn a. (hope im spelling it right)! when you get her as your clinician you will never be disappointed. laseraway higher-ups if you're reading this... this woman needs a raise ASAP!!! she makes all of my appointments so enjoyable, i get laser hair removal in 3 places and she is THOROUGH. a few of the other techs i've had don't get into the nooks and crannies but cathryn absolutely takes her time to make sure you're getting your money worth. she's so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. she also does my hydrafacials and compared to the other techs she really takes her time to make sure your skin is benefiting from the service. she is the only clinician who i feel doesn't rush the sessions and actually enjoys doing it. i can't say enough great things about her, if i can somehow request her for my follow up appointments i definitely will alter my schedule to whenever she is available. did i say she deserves a raise? read more

Be warned and be careful of a potential bait and switch. Purchased a groupon promo, called this location to set up appointment. Was told the promotion did not include treatment for the face due to covid (not stated in the fine print as claimed), but if I upgraded to the $1K plus package, they could do the face treatment. Unbelievable. The receptionist put me on hold as I was asking questions and never came back on the line. Super Shady!!! read more

I usually go to the Dublin location and needed a touch up on my Botox. They were booked so Abby scheduled an appointment for me at the Walnut creek location. Abby scheduled mr with nurse Wendy. Omg let me tell you. Abby is right. Nurse Wendy is the best of the best. Wonderful nice, knows what she's doing. Gave me some rope on how to make the botox last longer. If you're going to go to LaserAway then you have to see Nurse Wendy. She is efficient and quickly recognizes your problem areas. She's not only excellent at what she does but she loves doing it as well. Generally, I think LaserAway is excellent for laser hair removal. I've tried it elsewhere but have not had the same experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The lasers are excellent and I've had amazing results. read more

Chief Medical OfficerBoard-certified dermatologist, Dr. Will Kirby, received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his first year of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. His dermatology residency training took place in association with Western University/Pacific Hospital where he was honored by being selected to serve as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology.A licensed Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon in the state of California since 2002, Dr. Kirby is recognized as a Fellow by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. True my visit was just a few minutes but in those few minutes I believe I received the information and treatment I needed for two warts on my feet. I avoided getting any kind of spa treatments on my feet because of a wart on top of one of my toes and another near my hell on the opposite foot. I was told they are contagious and should not be touched. I could put a band aid on them and still get a pedicure. Also I was informed that warts are historically difficult to treat and could require multiple treatments- up to nine! I had gone to a local podiatrist whose treatment was a very mild freeze with a canister that was very small. At Berman they had a canister that was roughly 5 times as large and delivered quite a punch to the warts. I was told it might sting a little and sting it did! I'm hoping I won't have to go 8 more times but I think I went to the right place. I know my feet will be beach ready before summer.

Soultree's appointment times per the website under "Nail Services - Book Online" also indicate 8AM-2PM appointment time availability. On the initial phone call with Nicole and subsequent text communication she informed me she only accepts Monday through Friday 8AM-12PM appointments" - Her website indicates that her travel fee is "$35 and up depending on service location", but via text she indicated that her travel fee is "$65 or $0.75 cents a mile and up depending on location once address is confirmed" - Via text, her suggestion of the pedicure package was the "Specialty Nail Care Package #2"; further in the text explanation it states "Just Toenails - $150 per hour". On her website there are "Mommy Packages" as well as "Basic Manicure/Basic Pedicure" or "Spa Manicure/Pedicure" Packages at different prices - I would suggest that Nicole ensures that all platforms containing her pricing and scheduling availability is consistent and up to date TOTAL: - I sent (via Venmo) the $150 deposit + $65 travel fee = $215 - SO's sister sent (via CashApp) the remaining balance ($150/hour) and tip = $200 - $415 was the overall total

WARNING: This review is pretty much an essay, so if you want to know a lot about Laser Away in Walnut Creek, then I'm sure you'll appreciate what I have to say! I described my experiences and my overall satisfaction with the services and care I received. This is the only Laser Away Medical Spa I have ever visited for my treatments, and I must say that the services and care they provide are top notch! I have been coming to this center since 2015, and I have always been treated like I am a best friend or a member of the family. All members of the staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have a bundled laser hair removal package that was offered to me at a discounted rate of somewhere around 50-75% off the regular price. With treatments that can cost around $3,000, I was able to get mine for around $1,200. That was a deal that I couldn't say no to, and what's even more awesome is that they offer free touch-ups (depending on your previous package, referrals rewards, rewards for writing yelp reviews, etc.), as well as discounted maintenance packages ($1,500 worth of treatments for $750). They know what their clients want/need, so they offer all the right deals/discounts. In addition, the nurses that provide the treatments always make sure that you are comfortable and offer ice to numb any areas that are super sensitive during treatments and numbing cream with aloe to apply after your treatments. Oh, and the laser hair removal wands blow super cold air onto your skin to help ease any pain that you may experience during your treatments. Laser hair removal isn't painless, but it is definitely a whole lot less painful than waxing or using an epilator. In my opinion, I would rate laser hair removal pain to be about a 3-5 (depending on the area), waxing is an 8-10, and epilators are the most painful to use with a pain rating of 10-15, lol. So laser hair removal is totally worth the price tag and the measly pain that you will experience. Furthermore, when it comes to the effectiveness and my overall satisfaction of the results of my laser hair removal treatments, I am so proud to say that I have never been happier with my lack of hair growth. I should probably mention that I received treatments for full legs, underarms, bikini, and my upper lip. That's a lot of different places that used to grow a lot of hair, and my hair was relentless. It used to grow out dark and thick, and I couldn't stand it! I used to have such a hard time avoiding razor burn and cuts, and when I finished shaving, it seemed like the hair would start growing back a couple hours later. Before my Laser Away treatments, I basically had man hair. Thankfully, individuals that have dark and thick hair are the ideal candidates that have the best results when all the recommended treatments are over with. That said, after completing 8 treatments and 3 additional maintenance treatments, my hair is nearly gone! The hair that does grow back is super thin, patchy, and is more of a light brown and/or blonde color instead of jet black. Phew! I only have to shave once a week and Incan even get away with shaving only once every two weeks. My hair growth is so minimal and barely noticeable that I forget to shave, and that is a wonderful feeling. Finally, I am at the end of my essay! I hope my review is helpful to those of you who are trying to decide if laser hair removal is right for you and/or trying to decide where you want to go to be treated. I would recommend Laser Away to everyone who is in need of any noninvasive medical/cosmetic hair and skin treatments. I know that they offer so many different treatments to target many different conditions and challenges, so if you want the best service and care, definitely choose Laser Away in Walnut Creek! read more

Do not come here for tattoo removal! A couple tattoo artists told me in order to get my small tattoo fixed (half the size of a business card) I would need ONE session of laser to be able to come back to have it fixed. So I came here for a consult on a whim. The girl up front was nice, and they had me fill out medical info (for a consult???). The woman took me back and I explained how I needed one session to lighten my already very faded/ blown out tattoo a little bit. She took one look at it and told me one session would be $200. That was the first red flag. She then proceeded to tell me I would need 6 sessions before it was even slightly faded- WTF? I guess maybe their machine just sucks, or they're money hungry. Anyways, on a whim I contacted another tattoo laser place in the area. My quote was WAY lower for one session and I was told that's all I would need for my desired results. This place doesn't care about what you're looking for, they have me an absolutely ridiculous quote/ suggestion. Check out other places before coming here, I promise you'll spend a lot less money, all they want to do is up sell you to spend hundreds more than you have to. read more

Upon a referral from a friend, coinciding with a sweet deal from Living Social, I purchased a package for my legs, which later grew to add simple bikini & chin as well. I didn't realize that the appointments would stretch out as far as they did, taking months to complete and coordinating my tanning sessions and sun exposure was a tad challenging but as far as the salon goes and their service, it was VERY good. Teri, who seems to run the from desk is genuine, warm and friendly and the nurse technicians are all very good at making you feel comfortable and distracted. I was very pleased with the over all experience and am a LOT less hairy! :) My only complaint would be that their hours of operation are limited and scheduling an appointment can be difficult. I got my first treatment for full leg, brazilian, and under arm hair removal and can not wait to no longer have hair in these areas. I spoke with Jolleene C. when I purchased the package. It was easy to get an appointment the same week that I purchased my package. She was very thorough and informative with all of my questions. My biggest fear was that the pain was going to be excruciating. I have waxed for years so I am used to that level of discomfort but you never know. My laser nurse was Kaemarie. She was very sweet, talked me through the entire process. Surprisingly the laser was barely noticeable. I would say the pain was a 1/10. I've been to multiple laser treatment venues. I can honestly say this was the best experience I've had. All the details were thought out at this place. The receptionists, Elise and Mallary, were kind, quick, stunningly beautiful, and didn't know it. I made my appointment and got a confirmation call from the store for 4:15 so I show up and Lily tells me that I don't have an appointment. I have always wanted fuller lips! I have never done anything like this and was a little nervous. Ok I was a lot nervous I made an appointment an decided to do it. I met with Sam and she was absolutely amazing! She took her time explaining every detail about my procedure and made me feel so comfortable. She is very talented an I'm in love with my lips! I've honestly had such a great experience here at Laser Away! Ive had laser hair removal, clear and brilliance and Botox. The hair removal was a huge success! This was over 4 years ago and the hair on my legs and underarm is 90% gone! I share this with everyone- simply amazing. I had The Platinum Package that had 8 sessions and then I bought a maintenance package for 3 additional sessions. I still have two additional sessions I've not had to use!!! Clear and Brilliance is a great additional treatment for maintaining good skin health. I found that you have to keep this up to maintain results. read more

I have been really happy with my results so far! However, I recently went in for my 4th treatment and had a bit of an adverse reaction to the laser treatment due to some medications I had been taking, but the staff and nurses were extremely attentive and helpful; they really took the time to help me out and gave me all of the necessary ointments and creams to help with the healing process. Everything is healing nicely and I should be good to go by next week. Good thing, because it my birthday next Monday! Lol I would definitely come back and I would definitely recommend Laser Away to friends! read more

The treatment and service is very friendly and professional. I have not finished my treatments yet so it is hard to rate that part. I was disappointed with the thermage that I had on my upper arms. It didn't seem to do much. The Velashape was only done on the back of my legs and there was improvement there but I think it needs more than 6 treatments. I had injections in my cheeks. The filling in One side disappeared but they are going to do it over again. It's all been very expensive but so far nothing is complete. I can't do full evaluation until all treatments are finished. read more

The staff is so welcoming and sweet! Everyone is very professional and sessions go by fast! Everyone has different discomfort levels and I'm a wei ir when it comes to pain so being able to sit through an hour of treatments without wanting to run out of there says a lot! Facility is clean and they provide you with post treatment soothing relief. I noticed a difference in all areas after just one treatment! I went from shaving 1-2 times a week to every 2 weeks. So far I have had 3 treatments and I'm so excited to be close to tossing the razors!! Thanks Laser away team! read more

I purchased a package here from Terry who is so sweet and VERY educated on their products, packages and services. She was also able to answer a lot of my questions pertaining to how the laser actually works which was great. Im on my third session of my package and I just really enjoy coming in. I usually get a different nurse that performs the treatment and they are all equally nice and thorough. I will be moving to each area of my body one by one and be hair free forever! Parking can be tough so just give yourself some extra time to find a spot. read more
