Do not do business at LASERCOM LAPTOP & COMPUTER REPAIR in W. Hemet! I brought my computer in for a new screen. The clerk and I confirmed that the computer was running and there was only a small crack on the left side. We started the computer up together to confirm its condition. I was promised that after the order was placed for the new screen, I would get the computer back while waiting for the screen. They said it would be repaired in about 3 business days. They kept the computer because they said they cannot return a broken computer. They caused additional damage to the computer because it no longer boots up. Thus, they kept my computer for 1 month and refused to return it to me because they needed to repair the additional damage they caused. 1 month later, they quit the repairs, returned my computer assembled incorrectly (no screws and the keyboard is bubbled up), it no longer boots up, and they didn't replace the screen. Service: They were lazy, not knowledgeable and rude. He got loud, aggressive, and was trying to intimidate me with gestures of physical force. Hey stepped out from behind the counter to yell in my face because I demanded my computer back. Yes I was rude with my demand (anyone would be frustrated in my situation) but I am a petite woman, he is a man in his place of business. He should have not responded that way. Took my cellphone here for a cracked screen. They had me pay for the part before they started working on it, red flag one. I called them on the day it was supposd to be done, they give me the run around (making me call back several times), red flag two. Finally they confess and say that they ordered the wrong part but had already taken my phone apart, breaking it in the process. I eventually had them return my phone to me, in pieces. Never once did they admit their mistake but did offer to fix the damage in two weeks, for an added price. Rather than refund my money they offered me store credit, yeah right! Stay away from this place. The owner promised to fix my laptop but when I got it back I found out he had downloaded a corrupt operating system from the internet instead of using a legitimate disk. He blamed it on his tech. He wouldn't stand by his employee's work or make it right. No refund, no fix, no responsibility! And he wonders why his business is a failure. read more

I called this place and was told on the phone it would cost me $9 to purchase a cartrdige. Apparently (maybe) an employee error and it cost me $18. But the owner was there and was very rude and ungracious. The fact that I drove from another city to get there meant nothing to him. I do not recommend this place. The Cartridge I was sold was the wrong cartridge. I then purchased the right cartridge at Best Buy and then the following day I returned the original cartridge from Hemet (not opened). I explained that I asked for a HP D110 and received a #110 cartridge in error. The owner said & I quote "that's what you bought" He said He will not return or exchange that cartridge so "have a nice day" and returned to his computer to finish his game. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. This is more than Grumpiness. Monday comes with no call or anything, so I go down there and he tells me he needs the "dvd" to fix it.....my computer doesnt even have a dvd/cd drive! He says "well uhhh i fixed the virus but now it wont start or anything uhhh" This convinced me the guy was completely incompetant, so I took the computer to staples. they were even amazed how badly he screwed up my laptop. All i had to say was that "I just picked this up from cartridgeworld" and the guy immediately started laughing and said "say no more". I should have known better when I overheard the guy from cartridge world say "he does mortgages also". Do not and I repeat do not go through this company for internet service. First they charged me a 50 dollar fee up front which I readily paid, then they said that i would have to wait five days for internet service. I waited patiently and they did not send anyone on the day that that were supposed to. I had someone visit my apartment three times (two of the times that they were supposed to come they did not show up) and they could not establish service. After three and a half weeks of waiting for their service I finally became fed up and let them know that I was just going to go with another internet company. They told me that they had already established a connection and just needed access to the box outside. I gave them that last chance and no one showed up. Finally my husband called and told them that we wanted nothing more to do with them they did not refund our money either. I just wanted to warn unsuspecting ppl like me that its better to just go with a name brand company because if this one will rip one potential customer off they will do it to another dont throw your money away! read more
