This is a heads up about *one* specific person at this Hemet Spectrum store. We came in to return two cable receivers/boxes and to remove add on channels (Cinemax + MGM+). The goal was to reduce our bill and we thought everything went smoothly with the guy even telling us that he gave us "discounts" that knocked the bill by ~150ish dollars. That did not make sense so I asked repeatedly if he was sure. I confirmed that everything we authorized was done. Plot not-so-twist : our account was very messed up. He removed our "grandfathered" package(s) we did _not_ request. He also added us to Spectrum Voice without permission or notice ($14.99 + $30 one time service activation fee). It took two phone calls to Spectrum to revert his "changes" to our account. So my suggestion for anyone still reading is to double check your account details. Spectrum will email you a copy of your "Service Update." Call Spectrum to make changes to your account. Avoid this person if possible. read more

Mario at the Hemet store looked after me. He was polite, he was very knowledgeable, understanding and he was able to address my problem and found an acceptable solution. Instead of cancelling your service he kept me as a Spectrum customer. Mario is an asset to the company and I hope he gets a raise. He deserves it. Alex P. read more

Calls spectrum: "I want to end my account at the end of the service date. When is that? Can you do that? Or do I call at the end of the service date to get that canceled? Spectrum: we can take care of that for you. *one hour later, the internet is canceled* Me: "MOTHER****" I take the equipment to the store Specrum Store: "keep the equipment let's see if we can reconnect your internet... nope, take the equipment and call to ask for a refund" Me calling: "I'd like a refund" Spectrum: "return the equipment and call back and we'll put an order in for a refund." Return to the Store and call then call Spectrum. Spectrum: "we don't do refunds, if you had kept the equipment we could've given you a refund SOOOOOORRYYY" they lied to me twice and now I'm paying another uncharged month for internet I don't have. read more

The only bright spot with Spectrum as it pertains to the locations is their customer service staff. There is always a long wait at this location for some reason and I believe it's understaffing. The staff are friendly and helpful but it takes a lot of time for some of the customers to hash out there issues. So having only TWO staff member to help 25 waiting customers is just too much for them. I don't recommend stopping in without an appointment. read more

Very over priced I have had their service for over 10 years and it has sucked 9 of them I have to call every month for a problem with their service. I work allot and have not taken the time to cancel their service. But today I'm done for life I pay $140.00 per month. read more

We got spectrum October 2, 2022 I was told by Kenny Ocampo the Store specialists the Internet service we got 500 he was going to upgrade to 600 for $29 a month my first bill was $74 second thing it kept buffering all day every day a 30 minute program takes almost 2 days because they buffered so much I tried to cancel service they give you the runaround it is ridiculous go somewhere else run for the hills do not believe or trust spectrum their service sucks big-time read more

I have had nothing but problems with Spectrum. Since I've had it for a month now it's gone out 6 times. The worst service I've ever had with an internet service. Would not recommend to anyone. I called spectrum to get a quote on internet service. I believe the call went overseas as the agent had a very strong accent. My complaint with overseas is that the agent is never able to get it right! Once again Spectrum let's me down. I asked the agent to e Mail me the quote as I wanted to shop others. I received a quote and an ORDER for a modem which I did not order! Now I have to take time to return it ! What can be done about these insane practices? I went to Spectrum yesterday to pay my bill in person rather than online. The line was very short which made me happy. It was funny because when I signed in the machine told me to browse around the store while waiting. There is not a store here. Lol it has brown padded seating and beige walls. I wanted to take a picture but people were sitting there and I didn't want to violate them. The wait for short, parking was great, and the service I received was top notch. I am not sure why this place has low stars. Maybe they couldn't pay their bill and were upset with the outcome. I pray that will never be me. Thanks Spectrum for good service. read more

Spectrum is the worst. I canceled my service because our bill went up $80 in the last six months once our promotion ended and I canceled two days after my billing cycle started and they still charged me for a full month I am not even using. Talked to 3 people and all I heard was sorry nothing we can do about it we don't prorate. I never signed a contract nor was i ever informed of this policy. I received excellent assistance from Cameron my Spectrum rep. He had both knowledge and experience. I had three meetings with him in about three weeks each time bringing questions and getting answers. I came away convinced that I would get both better cellphone service AND save money. They offered me a promo for 10 channels and internet for 1 year at a set price. Eleven months into the contract the sent a bill for 300% of my promo price. When I inquired, they said THEY made an ERROR by providing the tv under that promo price. So because THEY got confused by their own deceptive advertising they are attempting to charge me for their ERROR! I ordered internet 2 months ago and still do not have service all i keep getting is "someone will call you back and we are so sorry we understand why your angry" Yet nothing gets done and i dont even recieve a call back. I want to put a shut-out to Spectrum. I called them today (Sunday) to see what they could do about the $164.00 I've been paying them a month. Spoke with a gentleman named Wes. He helped me get it down to $94.00 a month. Tax not enclouded. Then he talked to me about there moble service. I've been paying $55.00 a month to Metro PC. He got me a new phone an monthly payments of $21.00. I beleave that's about a $98.00 a month differance. Now I can relax a bit, about new car payments. I'm very angry. I was told by a co worker that this company could provide me with cell phone service and a. New galaxy note phone for $45 a month service, plus the cost of the phone. I Entered is the store here in Hemet put my name on the list, I had 10 people ahead of me. I waited for over an hour then my turn came and some wet behind the ears youngster asked me what he could do for me. Worst cable company ever!!! I been having issues wit wifi n cable for a month n a half n because i didnt call every day after 2 different technicians came out i was only credited $10 off my $200 monthly pay, which is bullshit!! I will no long service wit them!! They r not about their loyal customers, only tha notes that r visible that were inputed , i called today n tha lady told me that wen tha modem was switched out it was never reset, that was why my tv n wifi cut out n she didnt put that note in system so they didnt do shit for me, cus of a note not being input, they go based off how many times u call, which i work alot n dont have time to b calling n bugging bout my cable or wifi every day, if their system was on point i wouldnt have to deal wit tha shitty service they provide,!! The service itself was incredibly horrible, and ridiculously expensive. We constantly had to reset, and return the modem for a new one. It never really seemed to properly function. A BIG FAT 0 (minus zero) if i could... 2 hrs late for an install and i get a Time Warner robo call .. "Please take a moment to rate your installation service." -- What the ..? What service? They haven't even shown up yet. Mind you, I got 10 different reminders, prior to the install, to be home between these hours .. When they finally do show, in an unmarked truck with no identification, I get Time Warner Beavis (with a hoodie) and Spectrum Butthead (with the personality of a slug) .. After apologies for being late and 5 mins into the install I hear this loud obnoxious "idiot laugh." I thought one of them was hurt. No, Beavis was on his cell phone yapping to his buddy ... "yeah dude, we're 5 mins away," But not just talking, laughing like a loud buffoon. I started thinking they might both be lunatics pretending to be installers. What was supposed to be me allotting 2 hrs for this, turned into 20 mins, and thankfully they were gone ... My review is this- After a year, I mean to the day, of paying the bill in a timely manner month after month, this company disqualifies the bundled package they offered in the first place and then tacks on an additional 30 bucks a month for the same service . When called out on it or in requesting a new bundle package like they are offering "new customers", I no longer qualify. So this is how the company rewards those who fulfill the payment obligations and length of time. read more
