I needed to get eyelash extensions for my sister's wedding a while back and decided to start a month early so I could get used to them and have been getting them done ever since because I love them so much! The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet and everyone is so friendly! Before getting the extensions, my make up routine took so long (maybe 35 min if I rushed), but now that I have them I feel like I take maybe 10 min to do my make up because I already look so cute when I wake up! I started with the classic and then did some volume fill-ins and now I'm doing full volume. I wear contacts and have not had a problem at all with them - I just take them out before getting my lashes filled and put them back in afterwards. Easy peasy! If you're nervous about eye-stuff like I was, it's really such a calming experience, I fall asleep every time. But, for me, the best part about coming is my lash artist, Violet. I had never got extensions before and she walked me through everything and was able to help me make the best choice for my eye shape and lifestyle and honestly she's just a wonderful person. Natalie is the absolute best! I went to her for 2.5 years before moving from Boston and do not have enough good things to say. I started going to Lash L'mour because I unfortunately ripped a couple of eyelashes out with an old curler and needed help doing damage control but was also extremely nervous about any type of beauty procedure especially near my eyes. Natalie explained exactly how the process worked, totally put me at ease and after comfortably laying down for about an hour and a half, woke up to an absolutely incredible transformation and became addicted. I went religiously every 2 weeks for 2.5 years after the compliments I received! When I moved to Boston, Natalie even gave me instructions for a new lash specialist in LA. As places started to re-open, I went back out to get my lashes done. After a not-so-great experience somewhere else in Boston, I found Lash L'amour from searching Google and haven't looked back! I have been going to Lash L'Amour for 4 months, and seeing Darzy for my lashes. The studio is a cute spot on Newbury Street, and everyone, down to Maria at reception is so nice! Darcy has completely revived my lashes! Even with the hybrid set and refills, they look natural and voluminous. She takes her time and makes sure that they're exactly what I want at the end of each session. Prices are, also, very comparable and fairly priced to all other salons. They are the best! I see Meredith, Melissa & Heather- all very very good & professional. I love going for a fill as it is just relaxing. Very clean & cheerful, highly recommend. Have referred friends & they love it too. Very well trained & they can accommodate different shapes & lengths. I go every 3 weeks - remember you have to care for them correctly. I find with the right care, no direct shower hits or rubbing, they last. I clean with an eye cup & eye wash that I get from CVS. Remove eye makeup nightly with makeup remover & Qtip. Also use Li-Lash which is sold at LL to help natural growth a couple nights a week. Brush out each morning- less fuss, longer lasting. read more

I've had my lashes done at many different establishments all over Boston and nothing compares to Lash L'Amour. It is truly a five star establishment with the best technicians. When you receive a full set you are given a complimentary follow up appointment a week later which no other place has ever done. The environment is so relaxing I have fallen asleep before while getting my lashes done. I also get my eyebrows tinted there and they are so on point with color and shape. The best is they keep records of how you like your lashes etc if your preferred technician is not available, another great technician knows exactly what to do. I recently got eyelash extensions for the first time. They look awesome and I'm hooked! I had them done at Lash L'Amore in the Newton location by Erin. She was very professional and friendly and did an amazing job. I'm constantly being complimented on my eyelashes. They look natural and like I have beautiful full lashes! I wanted to get them with the warm weather coming because I don't wear a lot of makeup in the summer. They're very comfortable and I don't even know they're there most of the time. I just returned from an appointment at Lash l'Amour to get an eyebrow tint and a set of classic lashes. I saw Natalie one of the technicians who I have seen before And I am so happy with the completed job. My lashes and browse look amazing and they are sanitation and Covid protocol was outstanding at no time did I ever feel like I wasn't safe being there. Masks were worn by all who were there and Natalie had full mask and shield on while doing the work. Sherri does my lashes and she does a beautiful job. Not only do they last very well but they always come out perfect and I never have any complaints! I love my lashes. Cynthia is very detailed and does beautiful work. I've been going for lashes for th epast 5 months and I can tell you that they save a lot of time for me. There is no more messy mascara and make up removal and I always look fresh with beautiful lashes. I had Ann Kim today for a lash lift and tint and it could not have gone better! Not only was their space cozy with a welcoming atmosphere but, they were very adamant on making sure the client (me) got what they were paying for. I have gotten a lift and tint before at another place and it did not seem to last for even 2 hours whereas today, thanks to Ann, they are looking better than if I curled them with mascara. The only place to go in Boston or Newton for lashes. They have dramatic, natural and other kinds of looks that they do or you can design your own extension fill. Personally I love the dramatic look and my lashes are flawless throughout the two weeks until my next fill. I had my lashes done by Ann Kim a few days ago and I had a fabulous experience. First, she and the spa was very considerate of COVID-19 and had each bed socially distanced with curtains. She also wore face shields/other PPE throughout the appointment. In the past when I've gotten lashes, I've had eye irritation but didn't experience that with Ann.
