Update: Lauren, thank you for your reply. From the picture you can see that this is not quality work for a classic set. You have other pictures with many more lashes applied. I am aware of the difference between volume and classic and as I stated while I was there, I am not referring to the density as a mistake for length- which was another of your condescending remarks. Also, you spent 20-30 minutes removing what I had on already- which was a lot. So the application of a full set was only an hour. I have a text to my husband right after you finished which was 5 minutes past the end time. Again, you are taking no ownership or accountability for your work. Extra disappointing! Own your mistakes and be better!! There was no justification to the way you treated me. I am a reasonable person and this seems beyond unprofessional. I was excited to try this place because it's walking distance from my house. I arrived early and the receptionist had me fill out a waiver. Then I find out she's my lash artist! No introduction when I got there or anything, just 'come this way'. Ok. Maybe because I had gym clothes on...or didn't look OC enough. I went in for a fill for new client. Lauren ended up taking off all of my existing lashes. She wouldn't do hybrid or volume because the booking time wasn't long enough. Ok, I get that, I asked if she could do partial now and partial later this week. She said they are closed Sunday and Monday...I said ok, what about the other days of the week. She still said no. After it was done and I saw them, there was hardly anything there! They have never looked this sparse or this short. It was disappointingly underwhelming. She said that they were as long as my previous uhhhh no, these are way shorter or maybe position straight instead of curled up. I asked if I could back this week and have volume added. She replied rudely, I already said that we're closed Sunday and Monday. I asked what about Tuesday or Wednesday. She said oh you mean NEXT week. Geeeeez!!! Who talks to people like that!! Her tone was so condescending the whole time, not the best industry for her. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and this isn't the norm. On top of that she charged me for a full classic set of $140!! This is not a full set and does not look like the pictures of the other full sets. Plus, she only worked on them for an hour when a full set is supposed to be 2 hours. I have a ton of natural lashes that do not have an extension on them. Shady!! Lash Out Loud & Lauren are amazing! The salon is absolutely adorable and very well put together. It was a bit tricky to find but once you do find it, it's like finding treasure! Booking was super simple and I was able to have easy communication in getting the appointment time I needed. I booked with Lauren and she is such a lovely person who is extremely talented at what she does. I felt 110% comfortable with her and loved my lashes. Got extensions back in December and I'm finally reviewing because I just got extensions someplace else and it was not nearly as good as Lash Out Loud! Wish I had stuck with this place. Originally bought a groupon for this place, so price was good. Parking can be tough - street parking/meters. Got lucky the two times I came - car pulled out, and still had time left on the meter! :) The place is cute and clean, staff is friendly. The setup is two beds, side by side. Different than other places I've been, but I'm okay with it. Eve did my lashes, and she is upbeat and chatty while she does your lashes (and she sings! :) ). At first, I didn't like it because that's not how other places do it. But now I realize, it keeps you from falling asleep! And when I fall asleep, I snore... and drool... and look like an idiot on the table. And then I jolt awake and open my eyes when I'm not supposed to. So I appreciate Eve keeping me awake actually. My eyes did sting when I opened them, twice - I think I will ask to leave the fan on a lot longer before I first open them. The main reason I love this place, is that they are prompt about their appointments, and my eyes look great afterwards. And the lashes lasted for weeks and weeks. I originally bought the groupon for Lash Out Loud on PCH in 2014. Lauren was great! My lashes were beautiful and lasted about 3 weeks. Lauren was kind to work around my schedule. I have continued to return intermittently over the years for events and vacations. She has moved down into Newport where parking can be a challenge. I've had my lashes done by Lauren a few times now and every time they have been spot on- natural looking yet full and the perfect extra length. This time was extra special as I came in to get my lashes filled before my wedding on Saturday. Lauren took extra care to make them absolutely wonderful. I was all set to head out of town the next morning but, unfortunately, that same night I had a lash emergency. I rubbed almost all the lashes off my left eye in my sleep. In a panic, I texted Lauren asking for help. I was always worried about getting lash extensions and trusting someone to not damage my lashes. This review is long overdue! I've been coming to Lash Out Loud for a few years now. My lashes consistently look full and natural and I always get compliments on them. I never have an issue getting my desired appointment times if I plan in advance (popular 5:15pm slot), and my appointments always start on time and are relaxing. Lauren is gentle with application, and knows what she is doing. I can come to her after a hard day and just check out for an hour, or chat with her about random stuff. I have no idea what these other reviews are regarding her being rude, I have NEVER experienced that. Honestly she's one of the most soft spoken, sweetest professionals. She shows she really cares about her clients. If your lashes are falling out, you're probably not following the aftercare instructions and if she refuses to do your lashes because you've had a bad reaction or because you come to her with lashes already on from another place, well in my opinion that is her giving honest and professional advice (that, personally, I would greatly appreciate) and knowing her work would not produce the most desirable result. I have been coming to Lash out Loud for over 3months now. Lash Out loud has been great! I had a poor experience with a previous lash extension salon so I was hesitant to get them done again. Lauren does a great job and makes sure never to cause any irritation to my eyes (i'm sensitive). The Pads she uses are cooling and feel nice, and she is very gentle when applying and removing the tape. I am happy to not have to wear mascara or curl my lashes anymore- i was an eyelash curler junkie. I love my long lashes- thanks Lauren! read more

I am so happy to have found a place that does such an amazing job. After hearing many stories about the glue ruining the natural lashes and that some people actually doesn't have any more lashes after their experience at other places, I was really hesitant but this place changed my mind! They are by appointment only. The location is really nice, if you don't go on their website you wouldn't be able to find their place because there's no big sign, just a little sign with their icon on it. The inside is really cute! I think Lauren was the one that worked on me. She was super friendly. The pads they used under the eyes was really nice! There was no stink when I opened my eyes afterwards. The music in the background was on point. The lashes looks amazing! I am in love. If you can do math, it's been over 4 years, almost 5, and I'm stillllllll a client of hers so she's obviously the greatest. I LOVE my lashes and appointments with Lauren. They look amazing every time and for as long as she's in business I will never go anywhere else. There have been a couple times (over the course of FOUR YEARS) I felt like a spot or two was missed (maybe because we were laughing our socks off) and she always squeezes me in the next day and fixes it to perfection. I came in to get my lashes done today. Upon arrival, I realized that my lashes had mascara on it. Lauren gave me makeup remover but it didn't take off all the clumps. She knew I was on a time crunch to get them done so she graciously rescheduled me for later that afternoon. I came in several hours later and she was able to finish my lashes that day. I went ahead and bought the Groupon and told a few friends about the deal and they bought theirs also. I had not heard back so I thought maybe its better if I scheduled online. Just feed the meter for an hour and you're 20 steps from the door. I think Eve does a great job. My lashes are very thin and sparse and Eve does the best with what she has to work with. I've never had eyelash extensions ever and wanted to try them for the first time. My birthday just passed not too long ago and I was thinking about getting them done. My boyfriend happened to look on Groupon and found one for Lash Out Loud Studio near us. They had such a good deal, so why not give it a shot. I didn't want to spend a lot until I know if it's worth getting. I looked at other places they were like $175 for a full set. So this offer was for $79 for a full set, plus a fill through Groupon. I got it and scheduled an appt, they were prompt and I didn't wait long to get an appt for Saturday. My experience was wonderful. I had Eve and she was very nice, sweet and kinda funny too. The studio was nice, pretty and clean. I love white couches lol Anyway, they have a place where you can store your purse at the bottom of the bed also. So, Eve was very quick and very professional. I loved how my lashes turned out. I was drifting away as she was applying them on. It was a nice experience! Although, the fan bothered me a bit only because I'm claustrophobic and I have short breath. The air blowing through was a bit irritating as I couldn't breathe and had to catch my breath. But this has happened to me at the dentist before so it's not their fault and I'm sure it's just me. I just covered my nose while she finished drying the lashes out which was super quick. But she also turned the fan to blow the sides instead to help put me at ease. Other than that, I'm happy with my lovely lashes and the way they turned out! So pretty and amazing work. I will definitely go back. I had my first set done and they lasts about 3 weeks with still plenty of lashes left but I wanted to get them filled again since I have some parties to attend soon. Also, I think it's 21 days after on Groupon if you got the touch up included for the fill to be valid. The fill was awesome as well. Therefore, I will definitely be a repeated customer/client! Of course there were many options available, I took the time to read all the yelp reviews before making my decision and decided to go to Lash Out Loud in Newport beach. It was beyond expectations and I am happy I made the decision. The studio is located in the heart of Newport beach of 32nd st I belive, you have to arrive a little early to find parking but that is OK because they send you a friendly text the day before! Lauren was my girl and she was very professional and gentle with my lash application. I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing. I am beyond happy with my lashes and have already returned once for a touch up but even after 3 weeks they were not due for another application. I cannot say enough good things about Eve. I have been to different lash studios and this by far is the best one. She has an amazing technique of application that makes them last longer and when they do start falling off, it still somehow doesn't look that bad; the lashes themselves don't turn sideways or out of shape. My lashes look very natural and people can never guess they're fake; she doesn't overfill them to the point of having that heavy feeling. I've never had any problems with these lashes not even a tiny irritation. Eve is also very efficient and is always available even with last minute appointments. She took my bad lashes off (my pimp will be mad) and put these beautiful natural soft lashes on. (My husband will be happy). The service was awesome. The lash application was actually, really fast. Perhaps a bit too fast, but I'll get back to that later. I loved how my lashes looked after the application, and I've had extensions before, but when 80% of them all fell off after two days? I was NOT so happy. Thankfully, the technician is willing to reapply the full set. Within a week of application, they'd ALL fallen off. Thank you Lauren for redeeming Lash Out Loud! Let me start from my first experience....I had my first appt with Eve about three weeks ago. The experience left a rancid taste in my mouth so I was hesitant to go back but I still had a groupon credit to use. Eve gave me a very unsanitary service and the lashes glued together in clumps. I didn't see this since they were new and full but by week two when they start to grow and fall out, they were really noticeable, especially when they start to yank and pull my real lashes in chunks. I have a bald spot from it. I get that your real lashes will fall along with the fake but it's not normal to lose a whole chunk. Anyway, I called Lash Out Loud to reschedule my fill but I did not want my original tech and told her the situation. Lauren scheduled me with her. I came in today and told her I want them more natural, less clumpy. Let me tell you, they look great. Thanks for turning a bad experience around. My eyelashes have now been on for over 2 weeks hitting 3 and they are in good shape I cried so much the last 2 weeks. ( I'm pregnant, so hormones and I was reunited with family ) I just got stuck in a huge rainstorm and my first eyelashes started falling off.
