I started going to Sophia for lashes a year and a half ago because she was close to my work (quick access off the 405) and am now totally addicted. Sophia, what would I do without you!!! I first had my eyelashes done in Rosemead and was not truly satisfied with the results. A week later I went on Yelp and searched extensions and came across Sophia's page. I fell in love with the pictures and made an appointment. Her being mobile was a big deal to me because there is nothing like her doing your lashes in the comfort of your own home. After 30 minutes she made my messy lashes into a work of art! They were a perfect fullness and all the extensions were precisely placed on each individual real lash and not too close yet not too far to my eyelid. Ever since that day I would never let anyone do my lashes other than her! I literally freaked when she went on vacation and wasn't taking clients. Me being a nurse I work crazy hours, but Sophia never ceases to amaze me how she accommodates my schedule. I mean sometimes I feel really bad coming home and finding her waiting patiently at my door. I work at a plastic surgeons private practice and I get sooooo many compliments on my lashes that one day I ran out of Sophias business cards and ended up just making copies in the copy machine! People never can tell if they are my real lashes or not and I love that! It is never painful and she always makes sure I'm comfortable with the way they look. They last about 5-6 weeks and it also depends on how you take care of them. One awesome tip she gave me was to brush them with a clean dry mascara brush. You will not go wrong with Sophia!!!! I bought a Groupon for a classic full set and 3 week refill and I am so impressed with Sophia's work. I would definitely recommend booking with her in advance as her appointments fill up quickly. She had my extensions done in less than an hour and they looked flawless! I have hooded Asian eyes which can be difficult to work with but she made them look amazing! Exactly how I wanted them! It's been two weeks since I had my eyelashes done by Sophia and not one has fell off! She is the first eyelash extension specialist I've been to who has the D curl, which I asked for because I like the curly, open-eyed look - they look fantastic! I have tried other places and they weren't as good as Sophia's Eyelash Extensions. She uses glue that will make the lashes last for a long time and knows what type of lashes to match with your eyes so they look more natural. Sophia is very fast but also pays attention to detail. BEST EVER!!!! I don't know why I haven't posted earlier.... I have been going to Sophia for about 3 years now and every time I look in the mirror after she finishes, I just can't believe how "awesome" she is. Not only does she do the greatest work ever, she is quick, yet very precise. I only went to one other person before her (which happened to be my first time) and I thought my lashes looked ok. When it came time for my touch-up my friend and I decided to look for someone else.... We found Sophia online. Not only was she very sweet on the phone, but very accommodating. We were hooked from the very first visit with her. She listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered more than I expected. I am always getting compliments on my lashes and how lucky I am to "have such thick and long lashes". Doesn't get any better than that (people thinking they're natural). BEWARE!!!!! If you are looking for eyelash extension expert, do not go to SOPHIA. She did my eyelash extension a few days ago and it was a horrible experience. I asked for full Real Mink Lashes, she gave me Synthetic Mink and charge me for the Real Mink. While she was doing my lashes, this guy that she rent a station from walks in and talks to her which I thought was very rude. No privacy at all...After she was done I noticed most of my lashes was glued together and it was a mess!!!! She put too much glue that it got on my eyelid and cheek.... I thought she was careless and messy. I told her my extension looks awkward and she said it should settle down the next day. By the next day, nothing changed. My extension looks so bad that I had to go and remove it the next day from another person. She will go out of her way to get you in the first visit but when you need to have her fix or remove your extension, she will find all kinds of excuses like she is busy for the next week or two. She is very unprofessional... I was skeptical of her when I came across a few negative reviews but I didn't think much of it because I do think that no one is perfect and people make mistake but when I gave her a try I was shocked and disappointed. I should take the reviews more seriously. Personally, I don't think she's license. read more

She agreed to refund me $35 because she spent 2 sessions to do my lashes initially and the session trying to fix them. If she had done them right the first time I would have not had to go for a second time. It was more of an inconvenience for me because I don't live that close and I had to drive back and forth for her mistake. I didn't feel like arguing with her about anything so I told her that is fair and to remove my lashes for me. She did not respond back till about a week later. By the time she had messaged me back, the extensions tore out a good amount of my lashes and were so painful that I had to cut them off. I am pretty sure she is not even certified to be doing this, just wanted to point that out. In the end I ended up with painful lashes that may have caused me permanent eye damage from the glue that scratched my eyes (AND they didn't even last a week), an empty gas tank, severely damaged lashes and she walked away with my money not even caring about the integrity of her work. If I wanted someone to glue clusters of lashes onto my lash line, I would have gone to the drugstore and done it myself and it would have turned out just the same for $130 cheaper. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER. Sophia has been doing my lashes for over a year now, and I would not go to anyone else. She is meticulous with her work and she made sure I knew exactly what the process was, how long the lashes would stay on, and even gave me lots of tips on how to keep them on longer. She was very informative and gentle- I did not feel a single thing when she put the lashes on and sometimes I even fell asleep. She is really kind and she always tells me if she thinks I can go longer without getting a fill so that I save money. She really does care about her clients and is out there with her best intentions to make you look pretty and save you money. Her rates are very reasonable compared to other places that charge by the number of lashes applied. Sophia simply said that she puts as many on as she can based on my natural lashes. Each time they come out stunning! I am amazed at her work each time. I have recommended her to many of my friends and will continue to do so. She is a great person and she works with my busy schedule each time. I love my lashes and I wouldn't go anywhere else but to Sophia. Give her a shot, I'm sure you will see what I mean. read more
