Christina is now my go to girl for my lashes and brows. She's amazing at what she does! Her place is super cute, clean and convenient to go to right after a long day of work. I've tried different lash lifts from other places and this by far was the most comfortable. Usually my eyes hurt during the process.. it's never been a comfortable experience for me. Also, my lashes stayed curled and beautiful for over 2 months. Which usually, in other places, they start to decline 3-4 weeks in. She even curled then perfectly.. Some places I have been to have had my lashes go straight up.. with barely no curl. She also waxed and shaped my brows perfectly as well. I suggest making an appointment early because my time slot is always booked. I didn't mind waiting because she is worth the wait, but make sure to make an appointment with her beforehand because she does get booked. Side note,I always appreciate kindred spirits in the beauty industry. I used to work as a manager for a health/beauty spa and from my experience, it's rare to see someone humble, caring, and super talented with no ego. She has all three plus more. I've gotten eyelash extensions before, but I wanted to try out different places to compare the differences in experiences. I found Christina on Groupon for a really good deal (I think it was like $67?) so I decided to go for it. One thing I want to point out is she's incredibly booked! I requested an appointment from her, thinking I could be seen within a week or so. Instead, my appointment was about a month or so after contacting her, which was fine. So when I finally met her, I was excited with how kind she is. Her studio is also nicely set up. She sat down with me and had a quick consultation with me with what I wanted. I told her that previously, I just let whomever determine the style because I trust them to make me look good lol. So she recommended a C-curl with some C-Cs. (Of course, anything beauty-related is unfamiliar to me, like C++.) But it refers to how curly you want your lashes, and if you want more something more selfie-geared, you'd opt for the more dramatic curl. B, for example, would be more towards the softer, natural end of the spectrum. She also mentioned she uses Xtreme lashes, which is the leading lash or something. Basically what I got from that is Xtreme lashes are the premium stuff. Like, you're in for a treat. The bed (idk what you'd call it, but it may as well be a bed), is extremely comfortable. As she was going about her process of applying the gel pads, etc., she walked me through every step, which I thought was really thorough and great. She's very gentle, so I didn't experience any discomfort. Before I knew it, 1 hr. and 40 min. passed and I was finished! I love her work so much! I like what she recommended because I feel like it's dramatic, yet flirty and natural at the same time. Christina was truly awesome! She is so gentle and comfortable, I literally fell asleep and woke up with the most amazing lashes. They looked gorgeous for over 3 weeks, could probably have gone a 4th before my refill but she was booked up the week after :) I showed a pic of the look I wanted ( aka me on that tiger snapchat filter ) and she took the time to listen to my ridiculous request and delivered ! They were exactly the same . I opted for a more dramatic look but I've seen from my friends she also does very natural looks too! I found Christina through Groupon - although I think her deal is gone now. I've only gotten my lashes done two times before and both by her, and I think she does a great job! She is easy to talk to, and I obviously fell asleep while laying on her bed. I did notice that my left eye lashes fell off more quickly than my right, not sure why. At first, quite a few lashes fell off immediately (3 fell off my left eye after 1 day, 1 fell off each eye the next, 4 fell off my left eye 3 days after) even though I was extremely careful (I even showered with goggles on!!), but they still looked great after 3 weeks. I would say they last 3-4 weeks as long as you don't mind not looking 100% perfect. Also, I kept stressing to her I did NOT want to look ratchet and so we came out with a fairly natural look together :) she is great at listening! The process took about 1 hour 40 minutes. read more

Christina is professional and communicative prior and during your appointment. She has a light touch, and is responsive to sensitivities. For example, I am sensitive to the tape used, but Christina is always gentle and careful upon placement and removal. Plus, she's the best at lashes! The quality of lashes that she uses are thick and natural. She doesn't place four extensions to a single lash, but makes sure to protect your natural lashes while still giving a full look. She is pricier than some, but you seriously get what you pay for. I have friends who went a cheaper route that have lashes pointing every which way, or their sitting took over two hours because their technician was so inexperienced, or it was a lash and nail place so the cleanliness was below par and noisy.
