Scheduling online was easy and I was able to book a lash lift & tint for my partner with a brow tint & shaping for myself at the same time. Madison did my brows and Hayley did my partner's lashes. They are so kind and so funny. The conversation was great and time passed by so quickly. Madison asked if I was using a variety of products to ensure that waxing would be the best route for shaping. Since I use retinol and glycolic acid, she ended up tweezing my brows to be safe. Hayley walked through the steps for my partner's lashes as this was her first time doing any of it. We both left really happy with the results. I received a lot of compliments on my brows the next day during my zoom meetings. Anyways, I found her on Groupon but when I called her to inquire about booking, she said she'd honor the price because Groupon wasn't authorized to post deals for her business. Cool! I just wanted the service at the advertised price and she gave me that. So I get there, the suite is cute and comfy. She asks me for a picture of what I wanted and I show her. Fast forward, I get home and LITERALLY a few hours later my lashes just started falling off randomly. She offered to refill them for "free" (I don't know why I would pay you to fix something that I already paid for but whatever) but unfortunately I was traveling so I did not have time to come back in, plus who wants to come back when the service just should've been performed correctly the first time. I usually use MAC strip lashes and unfortunately those stay on better than whatever this was that was stuck to my eyelids. Lastly, she offered me a margarita (I took 2 sips to be hospitable) and she had one as well that she actually finished, but her breath also reeked. Like the lady Wendy B. said in her review on October 18, 2023, "She was also drinking and I have no idea how much she had before I got there." She popped a mint halfway through my service but that's just utterly ridiculous to be subjected to that. Just unprofessional all around. You can't be performing services on people like that. Maybe she was faded and that's why my lashes didn't stay. I don't know, but what I DO know is I won't be back although she did issue me a refund. It's really disappointing to have someone advertise they perform a service just to get in their chair and see they cannot actually do what they claim they can. Almost all of the lashes fell off within a week and I was on vacation mind you, out of the country, so there was no way someone could even fix this. I am going to report this to the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology because after reading the other reviews and experiencing the service myself, I'm starting to wonder if this lady is even licensed.
