    Mongolian beef

Last dragon is about 3 minutes from our apartment so when they first opened we were excited. We ordered take out the first time and we're highly disappointed with flavor and portion size. We've been seeing a lot of good reviews recently and decided to try them out again. We ordered a variety of things to try on DoorDash. The order was quick and fresh. It was HOT so perfect. Let's start with the bot so good. I ordered phad thai which I should have known since it's a Chinese restaurant, it wouldn't allow me to choose the meat so I guess they gave me beef which didn't have a lot of flavor so we didn't even eat it. The steamed dumplings were all right for a Chinese restaurant. The general tso was light and tasted pretty good. The star of the show was the Mongolian beef, it was sooo flavorful and tender, and the noddles were delicious. We will definitely get that again.

Laurel, MS needs some good Chinese food. There is a buffet down the road but it's not good at all. Last Dragon I feel like can get there but not quite hitting the mark. Their Mongolian Beef was delicious. Beef was tender. Ton of onions that still had a little crunch to them, I love them so I didn't mind at all. And the sauce over the beef was delicious. Savory with a little bit of sweet. My eggroll was really dry, I dipped it in the Mongolian sauce to make it better. Their fried rice wasn't really a favorite of mine, kind of bland. Again I added it to the Mongolian sauce to make it better. The fried dumplings were pretty good. Cooked just right, and good flavoring. Their sweet and sour sauce is not my favorite. Super thick and artificial tasting. I tried my husbands General Tso and didn't like it. Again, something like pre-packaged taste to it? And the chicken was dry. I will go back for Mongolian and maybe even to try their special where you can try different chickens in one meal for cheap. But Laurel is still in need of some good authentic Chinese food.

Strawberry & lime margarita! Together in this unusual glass - so pretty!

Deee-licious! The hot wonton soup was packed with goodies and the perfect cure for a cold day.

The food was pretty good, and the service was great!!! The waiters were always stopping by to make sure we were doing well! (The waiter was cute too lol)

Love this place. Food is NY style, service is excellent and great decor. Our go to place when in Laurel. Family owned and operated.

Black Mushroom and Beef to go plate! YUM!

Buffalo Wild Wings does have some nice deals where you can earn points for future purchases and they also have a military discount program along with offering free food for vets on Veteran's Day. I've never been a fan of chicken wings but the sliced up chicken tenders they serve here that they call boneless wings are actually pretty nice and their burgers are also quite tasty. They do fry things in tallow here which I'm a big fan of as it really adds more flavor along with being healthier for you. They also have weekly specials such as 2 for 1 along with all sorts of changing deals. So far I've only been to THREE locations of Buffalo Wild Wings with my very first being in Foley, AL, the second being in Hattiesburg, MS and the third being this location in Laurel, MS. Unfortunately, I have to say this location is definitely falling into third place so far based on my experience of the food and service. Everything is really slow here from putting your food order in to getting a beer. The other locations of this chain I've visited seem to do things SUPER fast... like nearly impossibly fast which leads me to guess that they already have a lot of food already cooked and ready to go. This location seems to rarely get as crowded as the locations in Foley and Hattiesburg so due to that observation I'm guessing they can't have as much food already cooked and ready to go as the far more busy locations I've visited. The continuing issue I've had at other Buffalo Wild Wings locations also exists here in that they only have mustard in packets and no mustard in a squeeze bottle which seems ridiculous in a place that is founded on having a gazillion versions of sauce! They really need to add a huge new selection of mustard sauce options such a spicy creole mustard, a tangy German mustard, French Dijon mustard etc. etc. There are so many versions of mustard across the world that it just seems negligent of BWW to not have more mustard and mustard sauce options. They literally serve pretzel knots at BWW which are begging for a German mustard! I've sent messages and emails to BFF corporate inquiring about the mustard issue but have never gotten a response...

In my conclusion, the food was yesterday's food. You may ask me how do you know? We arrived at 11:05 to place the order. We got our food at 11:15 which was quick. The chicken was cold. The mac & cheese was semi-warm and my okra was semi warm. You don't get this kind of food if a business opens at 11 AM and you receive your food at 11:15. That's why I am calling it yesterday's food. I wanted to ask so badly for them to just put it in the microwave because I saw it on HGTV and I wanted my food to be really great and I wanted to write a really good review for this business. However, I was highly disappointed. Now I am sure the food is probably hot on Sundays after people getting out of church in the south and all those good things. However, I was disappointed on a Thursday! Highly disappointed! The business is only open 3 hours a day so how could this happen? I am just glad we didn't have to stand in line for an hour and 30 minutes for some cold chicken. And I'll leave it at that!

There was some kind of street fair going on, so we parked in the back and walked in from the back door. It was a little confusing, but we four a very sweet server who showed us where to sit. I think her name was Lincoln and she was very sweet. The outdoor area was a little messy, but no big deal. The food was okay. I had a French burger that was a little flat tasting. My husband had the French dip. Again, it was just okay. Cocktails were pretty good. Based on that alone I probably wouldn't go back, but we were limited on choices due to having our dog with us. Here's where it took a turn. We went to our car and there was a very nasty note telling us, "The next time you park here you will be towed." It directed us to go inside to get someone to move their car which was blocking us in. We didn't see any other parking lot and there weren't any no parking signs. I went inside and found our waitress who gave the note to a woman sitting at the bar with papers spread out in front of her. I assume she was the manager or owner. She didn't say a word and sent the waitress to move her car. All of the sudden our sweet server wasn't so sweet. Come to find out, the parking lot entrance was on the side where the street fair was and we couldn't see it. I think that is a pretty nasty way to treat customers. I don't recommend this place at all.

To see across the dining room one has to shield one's eyes with one's hands.... Paint the walls gray, and put some shades on those bright lights! Best to ask for the other dining room which has a much better environment for your eyes and senses. Flatware is the CHEAPEST sold to restaurants, terrible, just like the cheap flatware used by The Loft. Server was friendly for sure but not professional. None of the servers could tell you anything about any of the wines... except for the difference in color! Owners, teach your staff about the wine list! Your servers should know what a Malbec is and that it's from the Mendoza region in the Andes of Argentina, for example. We each had a dish that included a flatiron steak. Sadly our steaks were incredibly tough and chewy. I was able to eat ZERO of it... first bite... chew chew chew until it arrived at its destination, in a paper napkin. Same outcome for bites two and three.... Both ended up in my napkin! The server failed to notice that everything on my plate was gone but the steak appeared untouched! She should have noticed that the other foods were disappearing but the steaks sat appearing untouched on our plates. Green beans, shrimp, pasta dishes all a 10 out of 10! We will go back as overall this is a decent place to eat! However, still waiting on the down town Laurel restaurants to class it up! After all, we are a tourist town (HGTV-Home Town fans) and our guests are here daily from all over the country and world. Train the staff, learn the wines, ditch the cheap flatware, think about adding cloth napkins... and paint the dining room and dim those flood lights!
