I wish I had a good experience like everyone else on here, however my first time experience at this mediocre pizzeria was horrific. First of all, my food was delivered an hour and 15 minutes late. When the pizza arrived it was cold, burnt and tasted like the cardboard box it was delivered in. When I called back to see if I can be refunded for the pizza, they gave me a problem and said there was no driver available to pick the pizza back up, mind you it was JUST DELIVERED.. So I went back over to return the pizza. When I walked in the guy behind the counter was so rude cursing at me and saying the pizza wasn't burnt. Regardless, the taste was awful so I wanted to be refunded, they wouldn't do it. They say their pizza is ment to come with a blackened crust and if it I wanted a white pizza I should have called dominos. Call me crazy but I think that was the rudest thing I have ever heard of. After about 15 minutes of going back and fourth, he gives me back 20$ for the pizzas worth 30$ because we ate 1 slice, I will never EVER EVER reccomend this place to anyone because if you have a horrific experience they will give you a problem. I have ordered food a couple times now. They do receive call promptly and in a well mannered way. The avg delivery time is roughly 40mins. So I will give the service 4 stars. Bang for your bucks! Then prices are reasonable. You get more that what you pay for. Buffalo chicken wrap is the same size as chipotle Mexican grill burrito and thats big. Quantity for fries was large. Then pizza is LARGE! So 4 star here. Taste: humm! Wrap was okay. Seems that it had fried breaded chicken and not grilled. I also ordered pizza with chicken topping. That had SLICED? chicken on it. I will never get that pizza. 2 star on taste. (Will review again after few more tasting). Recommendation: garlic bread was the best item of all i ate. read more

I was at a friends house in the area and we all decide we were a little hungry. We decided to order from this place because it was so late and the the only thing that was open that would deliver to us. I'm pretty sure I heard my friends doorbell ring and we went out to find no delivery guy. So we called up and said they were on their way. He arrived 5-10 minutes later so it wasn't the end of the world. Plus I'm sure this place gets a number of late night orders that have been for nothing and forgotten about by the customers. This place is awesome. I've never had a bad item off their menu and the staff is always super friendly. I'm a big night owl so I'm up late a lot studying or writing. When I don't feel like cooking, this is always the first place I think of. The pizza is great obviously but the sandwiches are nothing to sleep on either. Best pizza place in the area they have everything your typical pizza place had and steaks. I have brought several different people here many times and no one has ever had a bad meal. It's a beautiful thing to be able to order a pizza at 1am.. I always pass this place and I heard from a friend the food was pretty decent. Called around 1245 for a large pizza and the women on the phone was very friendly. I should have known it would be a long delivery wait when she said "we'll get it to you when we can". Kinda had a bad feeling it would be well over an hour. It was. For a place that's about five mins from me it took them about an hour and 15 minutes. Although they are pretty much the only delivery option at that hour around Hackensack besides chit chat which is highly overpriced.. you get what you pay for considering the time. My philosophy has always been no pizza is bad pizza. It had an ok taste although the crust was wayyy too thin for my taste. Some may like the thin crust but to me it was a pretty limp slice. Decent cheese, sauce and seasoning. All in all, if you have a craving at 1am for pizza it's a decent option. Probably wouldn't order again. I had visited this place on a few occasions for a late night slice of pizza after drinking but I tried it for dinner for the first time this past Friday. The caramelized onion burger I ordered was cooked perfectly and was delicious! I also ordered the "late night toker" platter which had a variety of item, most being good except for the garlic knots which were almost entirely dough. For a pizza place you'd expect their bread items to be good however the garlic knots and pizza crust were dry and bland. Instead the meat items like the burger and chicken fingers were awesome! Store - Came when it was late at night and was displeased to see flies just zooming around and landing on the pizza out for both display and purchase. That's what prompted us to order a fresh hot pizza. (FYI, the flies still bothered us at our table while we ate) Food - Ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and was immensely disappointed that the chicken was deli meat. It really took away from the quality of the pizza making it feel both cheap and not tasty. Bite after bite was this feeling of being torn apart between pizza and an unwanted deli sandwich. Holy smokes batman! So it was 12am and my beautiful wife and I were hungry Hackensack late night pizza to the rescue. I thought how good could it really be but the food was awesome. We got a whole pie half pepperoni half plain the the sauce was flavorful and tasty, just a well put together pizza. The place was a jam packed hole in the wall but the atmosphere was livened up by the house guitar that was being passed around. I don't think any other place puts out that volume of garlic knots. So absolutely disgusted and disappointed with this place! Stay away from their wings at all costs, slimy and was just disgusting, not to mention there was a big amount of fat left on that didn't need to be there. Did I also mention the chicken was parts undercooked and you could see some PINKNESS and BLOODY parts? I had a bite of one and almost threw up before I saw it.
