DEAR ALL *CHEESESTEAK* CONNOISSEURS... you will never have a better cheesesteak than at this hole in the wall food joint! Yes, I said it!! Come and prove me wrong! When you have real sliced meat, and NOT those paper thin chopped up steak meat... marinated in a special blend, I believe it has some Worcestershire sauce in the mix. This cheesesteak is off to a great start. Then add caramelized onions and portobello mushrooms to the pan and throw a good amount of melty american cheese to complete this dish... HEAVEN! But wait... they use a soft semi sesame style hero roll to soak up all the lovely juices, AND add horseradish sauce, you are in for a wild experience that even your taste buds will drool over. I like to put that horseradish sauce on the side so it doesn't take away from my cheesesteak experience and I can dip freely and heavily at will. This place has more to offer, but it is always the cheesesteak I keep coming back for. And, over the years it hasn't changed one bit! Consistency, flavor and the right ingredients make this a GREAT eat! Plus, the meat quality is always on point. It's not chewy, not tough and not fatty. You are getting your money's worth for sure. FYI: The hours here are for the late night crowd hence the name "late nite..."; open at 4pm and closes after midnight (3am) AND sadly, only Thursday to Sunday.

It was late and most places are closed so we decided to finally try Late Night :D. Glad we did. We ordered the Meat Lover Pizza and an Antipasto. Next time will have to get a sandwich and wings. Pizza is really good! Eddie and Tony were friendly and the place brings back so much nostalgia with all the album covers covering the ceiling and walls. And the music rocking in the background while we waiting for the freshly made pizza. $1 surcharge for using credit card. Parking in front is "15 min" and there is a small parking lot in the back on Fairmount Ave. A few small tables if you want to eat in.

It's pretty difficult to find a late night food spot in this area but this place definitely comes to the rescue! Ordered the grandma, sausage and mushrooms, and an extra cheese. The grandma was pretty good and loaded with tomatoes. The mushroom and sausage was pretty good because parts of the sausage had crisped up. However parts of the crust felt a little burnt and did not have a lot of tomato sauce. The extra cheese slice was my least favorite it tasted like day old pizza sprinkled with fresh mozzarella. This is definitely not where you go for a gourmet pizza experience but it's a good place to get rid of late night munchies!

I usually come here for the steaks but they stopped taking cooking temperature requests.. So now I just get the Buger instead of a steak.. My Cheeseburger came out perfectly, great flavor all around and cooked perfectly to my liking. Fries were great as well.. I had to start with their huge baked potato which did not disappoint at all. Actually it's my favorite Baked potato on earth so far. My friend had the half chicken which looked amazing and tasted as good as it looked. Our waiter, Arron, was very attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. That was pleasant. And as far as the restaurant atmosphere, it's always been a great and perfect experience. They have really nice lounge style music playing lightly in the background, so no loud music blasting in your ears. Overall it was a great time and meal. I'll be back soon. Alright yall! Have a great one! -Ray

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

The 101 Pub 101 Queen Anne Rd…read more Bogota, NJ 07603 Nachos Grande Roast Beef with Mozzarella Chicken Parm This location was not on my radar until another member from one of my social media accounts recommended this locally owned pub. The bar area is beautifully adorned with embroidery patches acknowledging the police, fire department, medical services and armed forces. As a bonus, the bar area has USB/plug outlets for patrons to conveniently charge their phone while dining. Nachos Grande: This appetizer was practically a meal in itself; the nachos can easily feed 2-3 people. Hidden beneath the tortilla chips were mounds of salsa, melted jack cheese, shredded lettuce and hearty chunks of chicken. (If you do not prefer chicken, you can also choose chili for the same price.) You are receiving a vast variety of toppings and there is more than a fair share of flavor. Roast beef with garlic bread: There was decent amount of shredded beef piled in between soft, doughy garlic bread. The roast beef was tender and moist and it had a perfect ratio of mozzarella. For a small up charge, I substituted mashed potatoes in place of fries. It was definitely worth it because the potatoes were hot and creamy with a thick mound of hot gravy in the center. Chicken Parm: On a positive note, the fries were spot on. They were hot and crispy with a billowy potato filling. Unfortunately, I couldn't necessarily acquire a taste for the CP sandwich. The cutlet was too thin (I prefer thicker cutlets when served as a hero because it pairs better with the toasted garlic bread). The mozzarella was missing a char. Regardless of this single sandwich, I enjoyed everything else and the service was amazing. The servers are very down to earth. They always refilled my glass and made sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend exploring this location when you're next in the area. A limited size parking lot is across the street, but there are many side streets to where you can easily find a parking space. #the101pub #bogotanj #nachosgrande #chickenparm #roastbeefwithmozzarella
