Also had a chat with the owner who had a similar backstory like mine half Colombian half Peruvian from New York and now resides in San Diego! I guess I got used to that huge rotating rotisserie at the place I mentioned in Los Angeles with 100 birds going at any time, so what you got was right out of the fire. I shredded the remaining chicken (breasts and wings), simmered it in lime juice and chicken brothn to make it tender, and had it in tacos. Delicious! The rice was good. The salads ok--fresh but not really dressed. I didn't like their aji. I'd like to try some other items. They have a nice full Peruvian menu.
