Cinnamon toast, it's a gotta have!
    Steve S.

Eight of us stopped in here today while we were on a bike ride through this town. I really liked what I had! This place is a diner and my review reflects that. I had the 2 egg omelet with sausage and rye toast. The sausage had been chopped and fried crispy. A very nice touch!! Oh, and it didn't break the bank, 5.00 for me! The thing to get here is the cinnamon toast. Homemade and mouth watering - a must have! I'll come back for sure!

They have the worlds best French fries. Stop and have quality services and food .

Not very clean. Needed a good scrub down to the whole restaurant. More of a old establishment

Quick service for our takeout order. Excellent food--cheeseburger, tenderloin, french fries, and coleslaw. Delicious!

After hearing so many good things about Don's Downtown Diner in Bellefontaine, we finally made it…read morein--and I'm glad we did! This super cute little diner is family-owned and operated, and from the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. We had the pleasure of meeting Tania and her granddaughter Maddy, who were both incredibly friendly and genuinely excited that we stopped by. The diner is absolutely oozing with personality. It feels like you're visiting family... if family charged you for a great hamburger! I ordered the Body Bearded Burger, a smash burger topped with your choice of cheese, crispy bacon, peanut butter, and the option to add jelly for just 99 cents. They offer grape or strawberry jelly, and of course I had to try it. All burgers come with fresh-cut fries, though you can upgrade to onion rings for a small additional charge. The burger was outstanding. Cooked perfectly on the griddle and served on a nicely toasted bun, every bite was packed with flavor. The peanut butter added a rich, nutty taste, the bacon brought a salty crunch, and the jelly added just the right touch of sweetness. It sounds like an unusual combination, but trust me--it works incredibly well. The fresh-cut fries were a great side, and the whole meal felt like classic diner comfort food done right. If you're anywhere near Bellefontaine, do yourself a favor and stop by Don's Downtown Diner. Great food, great people, and the kind of hometown atmosphere that's becoming harder and harder to find.

Oh my goodness, this British gastropub is the real deal! I quickly checked the Yelp reviews, and…read moremade an evening reservation, not checking what the parking situation was like. Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

My family and I recently visited The Last Queen, and overall, there was a lot to appreciate. The…read morerestaurant does an excellent job creating an authentic British pub experience. The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.
