Our toddler had an "accident at several different spots on our living room rug. I reached out to a number of carpet and rug cleaners. Only Lava was willing to come in and clean the rug at home at a short notice, and after work at 7 PM. It couldn't have been more convenient. Lava showed up on time, with their van and industrial equipment. They cleaned up the rug in my garage quickly and professionally, as if the accident never happened. They also threw in a free scent treatment, a $40 value. They helped put the rug back in under the couches. One of our couches had some stains due to our toddlers eating on it. (First Review) This is the most unprofessional cleaning company. IF YOU WANT TO LOSE MONEY ON DIRTY HALF DONE WORK, CALL THESE GUYS. A team of unprofessional gentlemen who know nothing about customer service or cleaning. They will ruin your furniture and never call you back to fix any damage! I recently hired them for a first time steam cleaning for our new residence. A gentleman name Fallon gave me a good deal as a new client and I took the deal, not knowing what it signed up for unfortunately. This is a new apartment, therefore new furniture and items and new carpets as well. I needed the steam cleaning for a quick clean just for spring cleaning. The technician arrived, unaware what needs to be cleaned and how much the price was. He complained about the couch being too big than told by his boss, when in all my yelp emails, I mentioned 9ft sectional couch, sending them pics too FYI, can't be more obvious.. duh. After the technician left, I realized he finished two room areas, three rugs and a couch pretty fast than expected especially working alone. After two days, I started to feel my carpets, rugs feel bit sticky and it's so disgusting when we are such clean people. In a few more days, I noticed the carpets felt sticky and never changed or got better no matter how much I vacuumed. It feels stiff, sticky to my feet and the fibers on a few places on my couch are tearing and changing color a bit due to their chemicals and deep cleaning. Two weeks later, I reached out to the owner Sam and he said he can send a technician out to fix the error, not for free but for a charge, when they made the error with a incompetent technician. He changed his mind within a few mins of promising me a date to fix the error, he said there were no guarantees on steam cleaning because that was their rule, but if I had chose deep cleaning, he could of helped. I reported $2,000 worth of damage and employee Joe said he would have Sam give us a call to fix the issue with a fair solution. No phone call, email or yelp communication. This company promotes FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRAUDS! FALLON and JOE, you are a poor definition of employees and simply crooks who steal people's money for dirty water soaked damaged work. Their services left a large 3x3 yellow ring on a white $5000 rug. I contacted them immediately and he told me he would get back to me. No sense of urgency whatsoever. They showed up a week later to try and fix the destroyed rug. They made it worse and said that it's our problem and they did what they could do. No remorse or recourse. They are dishonest and do not honour their agreed pricing. The price for stairs + 3 rooms (with furnitures more like 1.5 rooms) was decided as $120 on the facebook messenger chat with Lava steamers. Upon arrival they increased the price to $200. I denied the service and now they are threatening me and charged me charge $79 as cancellation fee. This review is specifically for Obada and his marble tile and grout cleaning. I started watching too many DIY videos and attempted to clean our kitchen grout ourselves. Seeing how much junk was coming out and how I barely made a dent in the cleanliness of the floor, I decided it was time to hire a professional. I was able to make an appointment for the following day and was SO pleased with the service. Obada was QUICK! And efficient. He followed all safety protocols wearing a mask and gloves throughout the cleaning process. Additionally, he kept me updated with the progress of the floor showing me the progression as he was cleaning. He also did my entry way marble and our bathroom. Did the typical Yelp job quote inquiry requesting quotes from several different places...Lava Steemer was one of the ones that replied immediately...with a very fair and easy quote...and offered to come same day as they had availability. Wasn't expecting to have them hired so quickly, but thought why not! Was going to only get a rug done that had dog pee stains on it, but as they offered such a great price for some of the other rooms that needed it (just wasn't going to do it that day) and he added in the extra scent disinfectant spray for dog pee - I accepted! Terrible bait and switch job and dishonest. I got a quote from Yelp Bids for $119 and then they told my 90 year old parents it was $300. I unfortunately could not be there. They then settled on $217 for a lesser cleaning, "whatever that means". When I called Sam to ask why it was now 2x he said it was a super high end deep cleaning and they already cut $75. He also said "what was problem if my parents agreed to it". Their game is to hook you in at the lower price and then tell you that what you need is the upgraded cleaning of $220-$300.
