Nutella with strawberry and banana crepe
    Dahabina O.

I was in the area, and my sweet tooth was kicking in when I came across this place. I've only ever been inside once, but that time, I just got a tea. Today, I decided to try their Nutella with banana and strawberry crepe. The whipped cream was a nice touch (I'm not used to having that on my crepes). It was delicious. The Nutella was melting in my mouth. I loved it. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back to try another one of their sweet crepes!

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Lavazza is good quality coffee *Street parking *Outdoor seating available *Baked goods, breakfast items, sandwiches, gelato But it's only about the coffee. So smooth, great body, rich in flavor. Love Lavazza coffee! Lavazza has been a master of blending since 1895. They have been skillfully balancing the body, aroma and taste.

This little place has been here for a few years and I have not come in until now. I remember the Starbucks that used to be here and this place is a huge upgrade. The food, coffee, hospitality/service, is great. There is plenty of seating, as it looks like the floor plan was well laid out. Coffee is great and the menu is extensive, lots to choose from. That, along with wifi and some authentic products from Italia, this place is a nice spot to come experience. Looking forward to exploring that menu on my next visits.

Sandwiches, pastries, cheesecakes, and gelatos . What more can you ask for ? This corner coffee shop in downtown fredericksburg , is such a cool place to be . A place where you can have desserts, snacks, or maybe a cup of beverage . Whether you are alone or with a friend. This place is perfect. We had 2 cheesecakes today. We tried the key lime cheesecake, and the "Java cheesecake". I am not sure about the name of the last cheesecake. But I believe it had coffee in it. Both cheesecakes had that balance level of sweet and sourness. It wasn't overwhelming at all. The drinks that was paired was a cup of coffee , and a chocolate banana shake. It was a pair that was match made in heaven. I would definitely go back not only for their food , but also their great customer service. There were smiles all around.

The last two visits were quite disappointing. I ordered ham& cheese quiche ( and repeated my order twice) but was given tomato&mashrooms one. It is not a quiche but rather a pizza dough with little filling ( barely 2 out of 5 for the taste). On the other visit, ordered gelato ( and explicitly asked for gelato) but was given sorbeto. Staff needs training. The only good thing at this place is coffee.

I love Italy and I was looking for an Italian spot where I could get an Italian breakfast. I liked the presentation but I think that should to considered as a way presentation more aesthetic for the creeps. The atmosphere and the service were great

Wanted a quick warm beverage and had the chai latte. It was exactly what I wanted and needed.

The emmental egg galette was fantastic. It does seem they've pivoted their menu more towards small plates - so the galette options are more limited than advertised online - and they don't serve coffee at brunch times. They've partially offset the fratty sterile vibes of the Navy Yard area, but there's only so much that a poster of Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg can accomplish.

One day after a long/hot cycling session I decided to finally drop in and I'm so glad I did! The food was sooooo good! I came in ready to order the Le Mile End, but the server told me they didn't have all the ingredients (hence the 1/2 star deduction) but they recommended the clementine crepe and it was FIRE! I'm so glad they recommended this one because it would have gone under my radar. I got two additional dishes, but the names escape me and unfortunately I don't see them on the menu, but they were equally enjoyable. I love the interior, it's very clean/modern and it's right by the anacostia. I will be back soon when I'm in the mood for French bites.

The menu leans traditional, with a variety of options that highlight classic French flavors. That said, it's a bit on the pricier side for the overall experience. I'd recommend Fontaine more for a specific occasion, like taking visiting parents, or if you're dining with someone who needs gluten-free options, as they have good choices. All of the hip young girls in high school recommended this place to me and my friends and lets just say, they have never been more wrong. My girls and I went this weekend for a birthday brunch. I wanted a crepe, but when I saw it was 17 DOLLARS to slap some Nutella and strawberries on a piece of crepe is outrageous. I ordered a "Continental Breakfast," which, with tax and tip, cost me $30 DOLLARS. I wish you could have seen the look on my face when they gave me a plate of rabbit food. All 6 of us looked at the plate and laughed. Seriously, my 5 year old neice can eat 3 times as much of that in one sitting. So, in what world would that be enough food for a grown woman? My friend then went on to order the French toast for a grand total of $36 DOLLARS. Mind you, there was only one piece of toast, and the Inside was raw and soggy. Tasted like eating wet, soaked toilet paper. On top of the overpriced food and small portions, our "server" came to our table for a total of ONE SINGULAR TIME. My friend had also ordered a Chai Latte. Surprise, Surprise! It never came, and they still charged her for it. I think the nice man who brought us our food could see the look on our faces when we received our food, because he then brought us a free side of French fries. It is a huge problem when the french fries were the only sufficient thing I put in my mouth at this restaurant. I please, genuinely beg all of you to NOT waste your money. I promise there is anywhere else where you can get a crepe for double the size and half the cost. Once we left, we went down to Call Your Mother, the Jewish Deli, to get more food, as all of us left with our tummies still rumbling. Mind you, a full bagel sandwich and coffee cost HALF THE PRICE of one meal at Fontaine. Horrible. Mind you, it is 2 days later, and I am still thinking about this. I fully created a Yelp account just so I could leave a review. I think I would have a better experience eating an IHOP Continental breakfast than whatever I put in my mouth at this restaurant. Not worth the hype at all. Save your hard-earned cash and be a big baller elsewhere!

So I was pumped when our crepe loving stars finally aligned and I had the opportunity to try the hype. I already had dinner and wasn't quite feeling the sweet options on their menu (yes we all know I'm picky!) They were more than willing to make me whatever I wanted so I gave them the ingredients to the best crepe I've ever had (up in NJ of all places) to see if they could recreate it. And they came pretty close...about 95% there but not quite 100. Sorry guys! Still, it was delicious and just as good cold the next day, which is my ultimate test since I can't ever finish anything in one sitting. Most importantly! It's not everyday you get to see the whole food truck ordeal as they park, prep, etc. I swear I'm not a creeper! My condo looks out over where they parked. They arrived well in advance with plenty of time to prep. Very professional from I could tell. Looking forward to trying something savory the next time around!

I got a crepe with gelato; although it said two flavors were included they offered me three small scoops for some reason, which still wasn't a ton. Honestly just getting the basic gelato in a cone with or without a chocolate or a macaron is better. The location has two floors, and you won't hear the honking so much upstairs. Service left something to be desired; I don't begrudge anyone who works for a living but it was not as high-caliber of an experience as I've had at other Amorinos.
