Not only were they open but the gal on the phone was super helpful and I was a bit stressed, lol. She said she had bouquets and I asked for the school grad color and I knew she would not be able to keep them long since she would be flying back to Arizona soon. I don't want to spend too much. I got a great price and I was able to present some flowers to my beautiful daughter on her special day. We took some great pics!! Thank you so much for making it happen for us Zins flower shop!! It is a cute shop on the corner. The uber driver dropped me off and I ran in and picked them up and was on my way to dinner with in minutes. Yay! Unfortunately, our experience with this florist was far from what was promised in our contract. Late bridal party florals: Scheduled for 10:30 AM but did not arrive until noon after many phone calls asking when they would be there, then arrived right as we were leaving for photos. Late arrival to the venue: Contracted arrival was 1:00 PM; the florist did not arrive until around 2:00-2:30 PM, delaying setup and rushing the work. Our ceremony started at 5pm, with guest arrivals starting at 4:30pm, leaving almost no time to complete everything. Unprepared and missing contracted greenery: Ceiling greenery was incomplete and not installed as agreed. Materials were missing, and our coordinator had to purchase supplies and hang greenery herself. Incorrect cocktail table décor: Tables did not match the contract, candles were incomplete, and some tables were left undecorated. Poorly executed welcome sign: Greenery was sparse, visibly clipped together, and did not reflect what was outlined in the contract. Lack of accountability and follow-up: The company stated they would provide proof that the items were executed according to our contract, but they never did and stopped responding altogether. Overall, the florist's lack of preparation, punctuality, execution, and communication caused unnecessary stress on our wedding day. Do not use this company--it is worth spending more elsewhere.

It starts in July. Short window. The blueberries get spayed in spring and then no more. Wear big repellent if you are sensitive but there were very few bugs and an occasional bee. The woman who runs and owns the farm was very informative. Good honest farming at its best. They have three varieties of blueberry bush. Highly recommend you leave the earbuds at home and enjoy the zen of picking blueberries. They only cost about $2.35 a lb and I can't wait to make a pie. My secret is lemon juice and a little nutmeg. Omg, what a deal! We used to go to The Blueberry Patch (which has since closed and sold the land)…read more But Mike's is so much closer to the center of town if you stay in New Buffalo. We picked 8 pounds for less than $20!!! They really could charge double and people would still pay. We don't get the experience of picking our own fruit in major metropolitan areas so the experience is all part of the fun. There are tons of bushes, we wanted to go back on Monday before leaving town but it's their closed day.
