    Sparkly dip mani

So glad I found this nail salon, great prices/service! I've done pedicures several times and gel mani but switched over to dip manis. Although there are several nail salons within mins of my house, I rather take the 15min drive. Very elegant, welcoming space. They have happy hour discounts M-Th/open-2p 10% off mani/pedi :) Sarah/Lee (husband/wife team) are very sweet and take care of their customers !

First time coming here after randomly choosing a nail place for the sake of conveniency and I'm so impressed. They are clean, friendly, and quick but good at what they do. The owner, Lee, is so down to earth and sweet. When doing my nails, I felt like I could tell them what I wanted and was listened to and I left exactly with what I asked for. So happy.

What I asked for on top, bottom is what I wound up with.

I gave this place 2 tries. The first was the pink nail design. The person originally supposed to do my nails wasn't available and admittedly the tech said wouldn't be exact so I said I can be flexible. Service was overall okay. I called in advance and was told I wouldn't be charged for coffin shaping because I came in with coffin and was charged $60-$65. Fine with me. I originally asked for matte and when I left some of it peeled off so I came back and had them just finish with a glossy coat. I returned a couple months later and called in advance for an appointment, it was the same tech I had and my info in the system. Asked for the same service with him. Got there, was put with someone else, which was fine. Then I shared the design and asked pricing. He said it's up to the tech and she said $85. I said okay I'll switch designs because I don't want to spend that much and switched to the flower stickers. They didn't have exact stickers, again fine but I was working with them. I told her the design doesn't need to be elaborate, one rhinestone on the plain nails. I noticed the middle finger design with the gem was being completely deviated from and she said she wanted to do something else and didn't have that stone but will put them somewhere else. After everything was said and done I was charged $85 for a much less complex design, and dip and design on my own nails no tips or anything. I was told I was charged $5/hand for shaping, and my length. I've seen long and extra long and that's Instagram length not mine. I was super annoyed but not going to argue since the service was done and over with. I thought it was unfortunate considering I was willing to give this location another try only to feel taken advantage of with all the up charging that was disclosed after my nails were already being soaked. Not to mention the gems are falling off left and right and it hasn't been a week. I've never experienced this and I've been doing my nails for over 10 years. I also, have a work from home office job and wear gloves when I cook and clean etc so I'm not rough in my day to day activity. Will continue the quest for a new nail home.

My feet are seriously swollen, but the lady did such an amazing job on my toes.

I'm visiting my friend in Dallas and I didn't have time to paint my toes before I left. I found Lavie Nail Bar on Yelp and gave them a call to see if they took walk-ins. They do, and they were very kind when I arrived. The receptionist gave me information regarding the difference between regular polish and gel (I am not a frequent customer of nail salon). It has been many years since the last time I've had my nails done and things have changed a lot. Everyone was really nice in the nail bar and the receptionist offered me a beverage. The lady that did my feet was very gentle and did a wonderful job. I am very happy with the service.

I made an appt with Tiffany and Mai. Amazing service. All the way. Mai cleaning all the dead skin off my dusty toes and the paraffin was everything I needed. It was heaven. Tiffany is incredible. Talented and sweet she takes her time swiftly rehabilitating my gel fill in and not to mention amazing personality I will definitely be back. Thanks ladies!

The worst experience EVER & I've been doing my nails for 25 years! "IT'S NOT OUR FAULT; IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM"!!! These are the EXACT words Tiffany the Manager/not Manager said to me after putting a completely wrong color on my nails. (I say not Manager because when I asked for her help as a Manager she said "She wasn't one & the Manager wasn't there".) I picked out a color, Tiffany brought it to Thomas, my nail tech. Before he started, I raised concern to Tiffany because it was orange in the container. The color I picked was champagne glittery. She said "It was the right # and it might be a little more peach but it was the right one". So I watch Thomas put the color on, thinking this is nothing like the nail sample, but maybe it's going to change or maybe's there's another layer? But he continues on unconcerned. Then Tiffany comes over to finish up. I wait to see her response, nothing. So I'm forced to bring it up again. I asked if it looked like the same color. Her response floored me! She said We have no control & it's not their fault!" I suggested they test them, because clearly this one is mislabeled. She says "They can't, there's too many & it's not her job"!!! I suggested she should have stood over Thomas to watch. At this point I'm furious! I told her I don't want to pay for the nails, I'll tip Thomas, but I shouldn't have to pay for a completely wrong product. She says they can re-do them but she can't let me not pay! Who wants to spend another 1 1/2 hours to re-do something they should have addressed when I raised my concern!? Not me! So charged me full price. I called back & got Manager's phone number - Tram. Guess what, he never returned me call so this is the result. BTW, I've been going to this location for 3 years & have spent $547 not counting cash payments to this newest Nail salon - Lavie Nail Bar since Dec '20. So much for trying to support the smaller nail salon that was closed for so long during Covid.

Lavie Nail Bar is my new nail salon!! I have been regularly getting my nails done for 25 years in Dallas/North Dallas and my experience yesterday with Lavie Nail Bar was the best I've ever had. The customer service was already above and beyond beginning with my call to see if i could make a same day appt to show up in 30 mins. This was on a Sunday at the later half of the day. Tran answered the phone and was not just curteous but was super sweet in setting up my appt. I ended up running 15 min late to my appt and so i called back ahead of time to let them know i would be 15 min late and if i needed to reschedule and Tran said that was no problem and that she appreciated that i was calling to let them know ahead of time. Once i arrived i was greeted by Tran in a warm and friendly manner and when i couldnt decide between 2 colors for my Nexgen she helped me decide and even brought in a nail technician to give her professional opinion. I did not feel rushed to hurry up and pick a color (which can often be the case), instead i was offered help picking it out! Next I met Jennifer who was extremely kind and who gave me a perfect pedicure. She asked BEFORE HAND if i was ok with her using the callous paddle on my feet instead of just using it. I have never been asked if i was okay with that tool before and i really appreciated that as i know some people do not like that tool being used on them. Finally i had the BEST Nexgen manicure i have ever had by Tiffany! I prefer my nails to look very very natural, i like them filed as thin as possible without danger of chipping and like them as short as possible. From the start Tiffany told me to please tell her if i wanted anything changed and constantly asked if i was happy with my nails at each stage. She said with a smile "they are only nails, its easy to fix anything you dont like. You are the client and you are the one spending money. You should be happy with what we are doing. Dont be shy to tell me if you dont like something". Ive never had ANY nail technician say that to me. EVER. In fact , ive read yelp reviews of other nail technicians at other salons refusing to give clients what they want telling the CLIENT "that will look ugly". Unbelievable. normally i feel like i am too picky if i were to point out anything i wanted modified but Tiffany put me at ease right away up front. Lastly, Tiffany used these very tiny detail drill tips on my Nexgen that i had never seen before. They allowed her to give my nails an extremely clean thin edge at the cuticle and make them look sooo tight and natural. When i asked her about the drill tips she said they were brand new on the market and even though they are costly, she always invests in her manicure tools and researches her industry to stay informed on new products. Furthermore, she stayed late on a Sunday to do my Nexgen and didnt rush any of the steps and didnt make ME feel rushed. She went out of her way to make me feel like a valued client even though it was my first visit. Tiffany definately has a new forever client in me. Thank you to Tran, Jennifer and Tiffany for the best experience ive had in my 25 years of getting my nails done. Truly.

Gorgeous set for Halloween!! Love my nails every time here!

I've been seeing these ladies for about a year now! They recently changed their name to LaVie Nail Bar and are under new management. Many of the original sweet ladies are still there along with many new friendly staff members! I work a pretty fast-paced job and long hours so this is my R&R on most weekends (I feel so relaxed every time I'm done I feel I could take a nap haha!). They have such a clean and pretty salon, great music and everyone there is the sweetest and incredibly detailed! I've been to other salons over the years but nowhere else have I gone where each and every time my nails are perfect. I have absolutely zero complaints, so glad and thankful for this salon and everyone who works there! Go check them out, they are seriously all the best!! :)

As a long time customer of La Vie Nail Salon, i've seen the management change quite a few times. The most recent change has half of the old staff gone, so Tiffany and her family are no longer working in the salon. However, the new staff are lovely, with great professionalism and similar experience being nail technicians. I loved my nails (done by Chelsea), her and Wayne gave us a wonderful welcome. My only issue would be the slightly longer wait due to the small amount of staff available now as well as some price changes. Charging an extra $20 for gel on toes when the original owners did not, small changes in manicure costs, etc. Overall wonderful experience.

Under new management but sure does not seem like it. Went in to remove my set, they expected me to soak the nails in cold 1/4 inch acetone while they completed another clients set. Did a poor job of removing also, I still have pieces on my nails that I had to bite off myself. It was not until I had said I'll go to another salon till they brought someone to "properly" remove my nails. Does not matter if I did not do my nails there, there is no policy regarding no removal if they were not done there. I still deserved to have them removed properly as if I was getting a new set.

What I wanted. Just the coffin shaped one, the design, & ombré.

I came here, and it was the worst experience ever. I was very detailed about what I wanted. Which was literally the picture of ombré nails w/ a floral design they are advertising as their own. Sweet Jennifer was working on my nails first, and turned out she didn't know how to do it. After, I asked her along with the receptionist if someone could do it,...twice already. It's their picture they're advertising after all. Then Tiffany the "manager/ owner" comes to fix the mess. I showed her their picture, and she told me she could do it. This lady decided to put gel nail polish on top of dip powder to create the ombré affect. It turned out horribly. Then on the floral design she tells me she doesn't have the flakes. I'm like okay let's still do it. Then she puts a big flower on top, and ask me if i like it. I show her the pic AGAIN, and say it's supposed to look like this. Then, she finally tells me she doesn't have it. Then I asked, "How about the snow flake you have on your nail?" She tells me, "It's too big for your nails." Like girl our nails are the exact same shape and size. I'm like okay, "How about the diamonds?" She says,"it'll be an extra $10." I replied I feel as if you should accommodate me for you not being able to provide my service. She says, "No, I can't." I asked for the manager, and ironically it's her. I'm like you know what,... let's make this a good experience. "Let's take all this off, and redo it correctly." She agrees, hesitantly. I asked her, "Is there anyone's I could contact that's over you, or is your equal? Just so I could get a second opinion." She say, "OMG, no! It's only me. I'm the owner." Then I'm like "Oh, okay then. Let's do my nails the proper way." She says, "I'm just going to take them off, and not do them again. I feel like you're not going to be satisfied with anything I do." Long story short I had to deescalate the situation like an adult, or as if I was the owner. We talked I asked her, "At any point did I become aggressive, yell, and/or make you feel uncomfortable in anyway?" She answered, "No you didn't." We had a discussion like adults, and found a solution to what didn't have to be a problem. She took it all off, and tried to do short ombré coffin nails from scratch, w/ no designs. She was now using the correct products, but the results were horrible. She even said it herself,... "Oh it's not having a gradual affect and looking smooth how it's supposed to b/c of how I'm doing it. Do you want me to try again with the brush?" Then we decided to just go with one color, because I realized they don't know how to actually do what they are advertising. What pissed me off about her is that instead of just saying they couldn't do it she took me through hell and back. I was in the shop for 3 whole hours getting it done. Also, she tried to make me out to be the aggressor for asking her a simple question. I was almost so embarrassed, because she made a big scene to where all her workers came around to stare at us; and the customers did too. I had to school her/ provide constructive criticism on how to properly run a business, how to deescalate situations you feel you can't handle, & how to be honest with your customers so that this doesn't happen again. She told me I was "so right." She kept apologizing to me over, and over. Claiming she felt so bad that she handled the situation so poorly. Obviously, she didn't feel too bad about wasting 3 hours of my time, getting upset w/ me over a question, promoting false advertisement, & etc to just make up for it by putting 3 fake ass jewels on my still messed up nails. LMFAO Guess you were partially right about one thing Tiff. I wasn't fully satisfied. Two of my nails are still messed up (one is shorter than the other, & one's not filled in/ covered with powder fully) but it's minor. I'm definitely sticking to my usual place. For a woman who's been a nail tech for 12+ years you sure have no experience on doing nails, or running/ being an owner properly. Maybe there's a reason you said you, "Don't like to call myself a manager." It's probably because you don't know how to be one, and aren't the woman for the job. Practice makes perfect Let's all pray you can at least try to get close. That'll probably take another decade. Lol

It took me some time to find a good salon in the area that has good prices and does good work. Since finding Lavie, I have not had to go anywhere else. Tiffany and her crew are so nice and friendly and most of them have all done my nails and I leave happy every time. She is very good at designs and can do any design you ask for, which I love and like to do different designs each time. I would highly recommend Lavie!!

    French by Tiffany :)

The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work.
