This is mu go to nail salon. I usually use Sara who us amazing. She was all booked but i just needed a basic clean up of my cuticles. The young girl was new to me and u think the salon. She made my cutcles bleed and then painted right over the blood. I litelly had to go home and remove the nail polish. I would have given 1 star but usually they do a better job. read more

I booked an appointment for three pedicures on a Saturday. The salon was busy, but my party's service started on time. I highly recommend their deluxe gel pedicure, as it includes a salt scrub, paraffin, and hot stone treatment. I requested callous removal as well. You can choose scents for a more sensorial experience for an additional cost (I chose Unicorn Glimmer). Samon did my pedicure, and she was kind, funny, and hardworking. She gave a great massage and did an excellent paint job. Book with her, if you can! The total cost was $70, which I think is reasonable. I have paid a lot more for the same treatments at different salons, and Lavish Nails does a better job anyway. All in all, I love this nail salon! There are plenty of colors to choose from. The location is clean, and the staff is professional. It disheartens me that it is several states away from where I live. read more

Three strikes and you're out. I won't ever go here again. Strike 1 - asked for polish only for my 13 year old and they gave her a full manicure to the tune of $14 extra. Was willing to overlook. Strike 2 - daughters $38 gel manicure didn't even last a week! Strike 3 - been getting dip powder off and on for year and half and in 9 days I've had 2 nails break, that has NEVER happened before with any other dip I've gotten. I had dip nails done and about a week later they are chipped and the top coat peeling. Also the index finger wasn't done properly and the acrylic tip ( done to match the length of the other nails) peeled off from my nail, which is causing dirt to get under and I can't clean it out. This I noticed on the first day of getting them done. Maybe these guys are great at doing other types of services but DO NOT recommend them for the dip. Also my cuticles were not cleaned. Not really sure why I'm writing this review, as of mine, Lavish Nails had almost 200 reviews with an average of 4.5 stars. They don't really need me piling on the compliments as this point. They are obviously good at what they do and their customers know it. I guess it's because I don't get to review these kinds of places that often and also because of how nice everyone there was. I took my mom out for a pedicure and figured rather than wait in the car, I'd enjoy one too. And enjoy it I did. For you guys out there, you might not be aware of how good a pedicure can feel (and be) for your dogs. If you think about the amount of time you spend on your feet in a given day, and how we generally don't think about them much, a pedicure can be like meeting your feet for the first time. For twenty some odd dollars, you get the works, clipping, rubbing, massaging, gelling, buffing, warming and generally pampering your feet. And the sisters who took care of my mom and me couldn't have been friendlier. Overall a wonderful way to spend an hour of your day, and I walked out on smooth happy feet. The only downside, and I'm guessing this is something that regular clientele get used to, was the chemical smell that permeates everything. I'm not sure how those paper face masks that the employees wear help, but as a customer that's not really my concern. UPDATE: When I visited Lavish Nails, it was in a rather narrow storefront off of Mill Plain (near Chuck's Produce), but they are in the middle of an expansion into a much larger storefront right next to their current location. A hidden gem in Vancouver! Close to 205 I always recommend people I meet to come here. I have been coming to this nail salon for about 6/7 months now and I have never left disappointed. Service is polite and friendly and you can tell the staff get along well. I always go to Louis to get my nails done. They have a huge selection of colors and nail options and a lot of the staff have a wide skill range in terms of nail design. I came here because this nail shop was highly recommended and to make sure I ask for Cindie since she's the "best" there. Everything was rushed minus the having to wait regardless of having an appointment. Cindie did an alright job but def not worth $75 for a French tip with gel plus getting them short. The French tip isn't even so I have to get it fixed elsewhere. I would of expected better work for that price. I had to have her fix the French tip once since it was SUPER thick and she didn't seem to like that I told her. It would of been nice if she tried to engage in conversation but she was too busy holding her conversation with the male coworker next to her station. The only thing I liked about this shop is that it is pretty inside and that is all. I am truly disappointed in the work I received for the price and especially coming from Happy Valley to end up with nails I was not satisfied with.
