Tow it there. Friday he discovers the problem. Easy fix, apparently. He did indeed have us as fam. Monday that old lazy car was all ready to go. Price was very reasonable. As a new issue came about they showed me what it was and discussed what was needed and why. I'm also traveling from out of state & both of these gentlemen were knowledgeable and upfront with the costs. Having waited for the repair work to be done I heard the manager tell a customer that they didn't need a replacement because the items had plenty of life on them. He didnt upsell the customer and IMO took care of that customer by being honest. The cost for the work was fair and if I have another issue (hopefully not) I will use them again.

Called in and they were unable to fit us in for 5 days ? In at 8am ... shortly after a call with um, ya need an $800 hose, um ya no we can't provide a detailed estimate.... um, yeah parts take 6-8 days. Honestly, I lost any confidence this business had the skills to provide this service. I took the vehicle elsewhere ... there diagnosis completely different with a written estimate detailing the condenser as the worn part, the part was ordered and installed in less than 3 hours at about half the cost, with a written warranty. I went back to American Pride Automotive, with the rusted worn condenser and asked for a refund of the $276. misdiagnosis and repair that they claimed to have provided and the Service Director could not for the life of him admit to his businesses failure. So, I gave him and honest chance to save a customer and instead has lost any chance at our business, but for $276 he's bought a lifetime of bad advertising for American Pride Automotive to all our family and friends. I looked at the other reviews for this business and see it's a pattern.... that's a shame.

I called American Pride and they were able to get me in the same day and even helped me get back and forth to my hotel from drop off to pick up. I am a widow and often get hit up for 'added repairs and services'...(I think being a woman dealing with car things, makes me a target). Given some of the other reviews here, I was a little worried that would be the case. They couldn't have been more kind, were courteous and no added 'recommended services or repairs' were pushed onto me. Just a passed state inspection and ready to go. Thank you American Pride. Initially, I came in for brake pads and an oil change. However, I received a call from Jeremy, who informed me that they had broken my brake sensor, which would delay my pickup. While frustrating, I thought, "Okay, things happen." Fast forward to the following week when I returned to pick up my car. Jeremy was nowhere to be found, and I was left dealing with a rude mystery man with no name tag. He claimed that my calipers had been replaced, which I knew was false. As we reviewed the receipt, I noticed I was being charged for the brake sensor that they broke. The mystery man insisted that I had to pay the full amount and promised to call me the next morning after he spoke to the service staff. Spoiler alert: no call came. When I reached out the next day, Jeremy refused to answer my questions, and Daniel acted as a middleman, spewing blatant lies. He claimed the sensor was never broken and that they had to "move numbers around" on my bill because of an alleged discount. To top it off, he had the audacity to say that the sensor was already broken when I brought the car in, despite Jeremy's earlier admission of their mistake. The brake light had been off prior to my visit, so Daniel's excuse made no sense. After refusing to talk to me directly, I was told, "Do whatever you want! Call corporate, it doesn't matter; our business is done, and your money is spent." This was said by Daniel, with Jeremy coaching him from the background. I paid over $1200 for subpar service and left feeling disrespected. As an active duty Air Force officer, I expected better treatment from a supposedly reputable establishment. They won me over when they took the time to diagnose that little "rattle" in my muffler as simply a loose baffle and recommended to do nothing (bear in mind folks -- the Midas brand "sells" mufflers). Saved me $300 and didn't charge me to look at it. Since then, I've taken my cars in from everything to oil changes to timing belts, water pumps, and a very interesting timing sensor short. They've always come through and the bill isn't shocking. Not just mufflers -- a wide range of capabilities. Update 06/10/09: They now have a car wash!
