    Great diner breakfasts.

Great diner! We were greeted by a group of gentleman who probably meet every morning for coffee. They made great recommendations and were fun to chat with. Service and food were both great. A nice down home place where you are welcomed in with southern hospitality.

    Bacon cheeseburger- delicious!

Weekly visits here have never let me down. We have had as many as 14 in our group and everything was wonderful.

Don't come here unless you want to wait 30minutes+ for your food. Worst customer service ever. Do not come here

Our husbands…read morewere busy elsewhere on Main Street, so we ladies thought we might drop in for a glass of wine. Madeleine's is not a wine tasting bar but a restaurant with an extensive wine list (for this small town, at least). They have a fairly extensive food menu as well as many unique wines on their list. They also serve beer, if that's your thing. One of the owners seated us and let us know that we could sample any of the wines with which we were unfamiliar before ordering a full glass. Although we had not planned to eat there as it was 3pm, our husbands popped in, so we ended up with an order of meatballs too. We absolutely loved them! They had a very bright flavor with a hint of some sort of spice in the sauce, which was amazing. We plan to come back for an actual dinner at some point soon as the food that we had was exceptional. The menu is extensive; the ambience is nice; and, the service was excellent. A bit of backstory for you -- the owners had moved from New York back to Kentucky after many years in the high-end restaurant business in New York City. The "Madeline" in the name of the restaurant is not the name of either owner; it's the name of one of the owner's mothers -- traditionally done in the restaurant business for good luck!

Additionally, the back deck is perfect. Can't wait to go back and sit, sipping cocktails and nibbling snacks...when it isn't the temperature of hell outside. Service/staff was friendly and knew the menu well. Literally everything on the menu is recommended, and I don't think she was fibbing about it all being good. We had cocktails (blackberry bourbon ice tea and white sangria), apps (meatballs and mushroom dip), an amazing entree (baked cod over panzanella salad), and dessert (affogato with chocolate syrup). Every bite was fantastic. I left completely satisfied without being over-full. Can't wait to return with friends!

They definitely have crepes mastered! They are so delicious and fresh. The crepes places we have in California don't get this gourmet. The pouched pear crepe has gold luster!!! So sweet and attentive - the person making our drinks (Ryan) was giving us great recommendations of places to visit. I'm looking forward to coming back when I'm in town!!! I want to try everything on the menu.

They played gospel music the entire time & I really enjoyed that, felt like I was at church. Their interior is pretty & well put together & they even have a merch store. I ordered smoked salmon Benedict, my go to fave in the mornings & it came with basic frozen store bought potatoes & cup of fruit with some variety of kiwi, pineapple, strawberry, & massive grapes. I really enjoyed my dish, salmon tasted fresh & the bread they use was super yummy & fluffy as well!! Delicious! I ordered cheesy grits & when it came out my partner & I couldn't help but giggle cause they just slapped American cheese ontop of plain, flavorless grits. I wouldn't want to order this again. My partner ordered Noah's ark the traditional & their sausage links were pretty tasty & meaty with potatoes & fruit. He ordered waffles as well & that was sweetly tasty!! I don't typically like waffles but it had some flavor to it! Their salt & pepper holders are so cute & each table had their own animal, this sparked us to want to go to the Ark museum in williamstown. I really love the concept & would be back!!
