A bit of backstory for you -- the owners had moved from New York back to Kentucky after many years in the high-end restaurant business in New York City. The "Madeline" in the name of the restaurant is not the name of either owner; it's the name of one of the owner's mothers -- traditionally done in the restaurant business for good luck!
