Tonight, my friends and I decided to venture out of the normal and try something different. Hence, the reason we ended up at Lazer Tag Extreme in Simi Valley. In all honesty, my expectations were not high but we figured we'd just have a little fun. When we were deciding on how many games to play, the girl at the counter, Janet, who was very sweet, told us we could do one with a group of 3 others and then sign up for our second game and play alone. We later found out that they were hosting a fundraiser and there were going to be, as the manager/owner said, "lots of people in every game for the rest of the night". She, unlike Janet had attitude from the moment we walked up to the counter. When I told her the guy collecting tickets at the door said he already had 35 people and continued to let more in, her response was, we only have 35 vests so that couldn't be true. If it hadn't had been for this blond woman with glasses at the end, I would have given this location maybe 3 stars but unfortunately, she needs to learn what customer service consists of if she is going to be behind the counter. The video game selection wasn't the best either. DDR wasn't working properly, the screen was very dim, it wouldn't let 2 players play and it was in Chinese. When the staff was notified, nothing was done. There were also a few other games that weren't working but I won't be back so it doesn't make a difference. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It's seriously awesome!! My kid loves it too!! We go all the time, my son literally asks me to go everyday. It's an awesome arcade and a very reasonable price. $20 will get you $100 tokens you and your kid can play for hours. I'm writing this review to let the other parents know that this place isn't just laser tag, they literally have the best arcade in town! I also wanted to thank my favorite staff members: Beverly, Robby, and Nancy for always being so nice and helpful to us. This place is awesome in many ways because they actually put their money back into their business by offering customers a rewards card, so literally every $1 that's spent, goes to free laser tag missions. It's not the same thing every time you go, they add new machines and add different prizes a lot which is great to see! I enjoyed an evening at Lazertag Extreme with my two teenaged daughters at a high school father-daughter event. What a hoot. Clean, well lit, energetic but not frenzied or super loud. My girls and I had a blast in lazertag games with a couple of smaller fast moving teams, and a bigger three-team game with lots of targets and lots of shooters. The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. The staff has to answer the same customer questions over and over but they patiently answered all the questions in a pleasant, easy-going manner. In between lazertag missions, my girls enjoyed the arcade games, especially the trivia games. Our large high school group was well taken care of. The evening flew by. My girls want to take some of their friends from their respective club sports teams. I look forward to it. read more

Ok so amazing people working they were all Awesome so don't offend me but my favorite person who works there is Erica she is so Aweosme and could put up with my bad jokes after that Ashley and Alyssa we all talked about anime and totally awesome and we just otakud out and I know I know I didn't spell that right. Price was the man at the counter totally funny. Ryan was the man that brought us into the game and actually listen and we were able to play shadow which was cool. I just had my son's 11th birthday party here. We did the "Tween Package" and it was perfect! The kids all had a great time and went home raving to their parents about all the things they got to do -- multiple lazer tag games, lazer maze, arcade games.. The facility was clean, safe, spacious. We were worried that it would be over-run with teens on a Saturday night, but not at all. When we first arrived there was two other smaller parties but after they left, we practically had the place to ourselves. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Alyssa was our party person and Cody helped her out. Both were very attentive and accommodating to our loud group of boys! The staff inside the lazer tag arena were also great with the kids. The games are very entertaining, the employees are super friendly, and the lazertag arena is well crafted. I was especially impressed by the incredibly helpful Mark who ever so kindly advised me on which prizes were the most fun and where to place my belongings during the intense session. We had our son's birthday here and it was fantastic. The party captain, Brian, called to arrange everything a few days before the party and asked to speak to my son so he could find it what he is in to. He then incorporated my son's interests into the party during lunch as well as his own attire (wore his Pokemon belt). We had been to a party previously with the same party captain and he individualized the parties for each kid. Our party captain was also amazing with the kids. He knew all of their names, was enthusiastic and kept everyone engaged and entertained. The food was good and everyone had a blast. This place is really cool. An awesome arena, very clean, and lots of arcade games. I went here with my family for my birthday quite a few months ago and we had a blast. They have this really cool laser maze that makes you feel like you're in a spy movie. Get from one end of the room to another without touching the lasers-- it's awesome. The only reason I gave it three stars is because of one of the staff members. I didn't catch her name, but she's probably 16-18, got short, bleach blonde hair. When my party went in for our first game, she seemed to hate the fact that we dare enter her briefing room and she singled us out a little while talking about safety. She was looking right at us the whole time and said something like "I'm serious. I've seen a grown man knock a 2 year old to the ground. because they wanted to win" Which... I doubt. Because what is a 2 year old doing playing laser tag? And when she was splitting us into teams, she asked for one person to switch over so the teams would be even. I wanted to stay on the same team as my sister, so I asked one of the guys on the opposite team if he could switch so that my sister and I could go over together and it would be even. He agreed, and the girls came over, grabbed my arm and said "I didn't say two. I said one. There are not enough boys on this team now." That last statement has bugged me for a long time. She stated it as though it were a handicap that there were not enough boys on the team. It was sexist and petty and childish. And I truly hope that the little girls in the game did not walk away thinking they are lesser or weaker. read more

We did my 8 year old sons birthday here tonight. It was a great experience, and as parents they ran the entire show for us. Price was very reasonable and the staff was excellent. Our party host Alyssa was very entertaining with the kids and went the extra mile to make sure my wife and I enjoyed ourselves too. She really was the one who made the whole thing click. My 9-year-old son celebrated his birthday with 11 other boys. He had SO much fun for two hours. All of the boys were completely engaged and involved the entire time. The service was impeccable. We had my sons birthday here. It was an easy and relaxed experience the entire way through. Our party host Sarah called my son to get to know him before the party. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to the kids. They loved the games and I could play too. The supply the food and set it up and the place was very clean and in great condition. The party host was friendly and very helpful so I could enjoy the party! The fact that gift bags and food and plates ect is included just makes the experience that much easier and more enjoyable. We just celebrated my sons 7th birthday with his baseball team and I can't say enough about the event, the staff or the facilities. It started out with a call from Mark our host a few days before he actually spoke to our son and asked him questions about what he liked etc. Then we got there and they quickly checked the boys in and while waiting fort the rest of the boys to arrive, Mark found creative and fun ways to entertain the boys including a game of balloon volley ball. The actual Laser Tag was amazing with multi levels and just enough dark to make it exciting, I kept hearing the boys say this is the best birthday ever. I'm 38 and I think I had as much fun playing as they did. Once the game is complete they had the boys check their scores which with a team of baseball players was really exciting for them as well. The boys played two games like this and had pizza, which was excellent, Mark continued to entertain them with magic tricks. The party finished with a laser maze and each boy got tokens to play in the arcade. Every time we encountered any of the staff the were extremely polite and helpful. I would give 10 starts if I could and this is actually my first review on yelp. I just wanted to make sure they got the credit they deserved. read more

Great for a last minute social outing, birthday parties, as well as school events!! I've utilized Lazertag Extreme for all types of different occasions and it's always a hit! Jim and Theresa are so accommodating! As a room-parent for my son's 7th grade class, we were looking for a creative way to incorporate math into a field trip. Not only did Jim and Theresa allow the students to use the cash registers, but Jim talked to the students about what it was like to own a business and the particulars as it related to math. Oh, and of course the students enjoyed playing lazer tag while they were there too! Their event planner Nancy simplified the process for organizing the event and the staff-members were great about making sure all the students had a great time. I love the multi-floor tag room and now they have just added an escape room - very cool! Definitely my go-to place for parties! read more
