They checked/tested it out, called me back to pick the truck up. The mechanic told me my transmission was fine and the reason that my truck was reacting like it was, was because the cat was clogged. They didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis! Other shops wanted to charge me $175 at the drop off. They took the time to properly diagnose the issue and explained everything clearly without trying to pressure me into repairs. Unfortunately, the problem turned out to be internal transmission damage, and they were honest in letting me know the repair would be expensive and might not be worth it for my car. I really appreciated the transparency instead of being pushed into a costly fix. On top of that, they worked with me on the diagnostic fee, which shows they actually care about their customers. FIND ANOTHER SHOP!!…read more Terrible customer service and NO communication!! I took my truck in for a stage 1 build after speaking with Evan (owner). I was WELL AWARE that the Ford 5R110W is not a transmission they normally work on but he asked me to bring it in anyway. I dropped it off on the day/time we had agreed on. After not hearing anything for 2 weeks, I stopped by to check on the truck and agree on an approximate date of completion. I wasn't given anything specific other than excuses about this not being what they normally work on. The girl with the colorful hair told me they should be able to get it started by the end of the following week. Once again I stopped by 2 weeks later and got nothing but more of the same excuses. I was told that they are backed up but I cannot believe that EVERYONE waits over 4 weeks before anyone even looks at their trucks... with ZERO notification of any kind. I finally decided to pick up the truck as it was there for over 1 month, UNTOUCHED!! ANY communication regarding the status of the truck would have avoided this experience. I was looking forward to having these guys work on my truck. Knowing what I know now, I don't care what they think they can do. Running a service oriented business requires PROVIDING a service... both mechanical service and customer service in this case. I have nothing good to say but stay away. Update... This guy's response does not surprise me. All lies and deceit. I NEVER CALLED, NEVER HARASSED, and I was NEVER told it was an indefinite wait. Extremely troubling situation connected to this shop. A white Infiniti G37 (with dark-tinted…read morewindows and black rims) leaving Stu's was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run collision directly in front of the business. The other driver stated that the individual also assaulted them before fleeing the scene with significant front-end damage (missing front bumper). Even more concerning, video footage posted online appears to show employees bending and obscuring the vehicle's license plate before the driver left--preventing it from being clearly captured on video, and then declining to provide information to the officers who responded. Based on what has been reported and shown in the available footage, I am cautious about trusting my vehicle--or my safety--to a business where employees behave this way.

He goes out of his way to help you when he can. He's also save me tons of money. I hit a huge boulder on the freeway ruining my wheel and he shopped the wheels for me saving me hundreds of dollars.
