Back in October 2021, I was very fortunate to have found Lango Welding on yelp. Andres, the owner,…read moreresponded to me promptly. The next day he arrived at my house to discuss the projects, do the measurements, and give me a quote. As of today, Andres has done a total of 3 projects for me. I wanted metal side gates for both sides of my house. One is to replace the old and weathered wooden gate, and the other one is to add extra security to the side of my house where the bedroom windows are located. I showed Andres the design I wanted, and he was able to transform my vision into reality. The turnaround time was only two weeks. Today, more than four years after Andres' team had completed the work, the side gates are still looking fantastic!! We did black powder coating on all 3 projects. This process truly helps the gates to look as good as new for many years to come. I am extremely pleased with what Andres and his team have delivered. Andres' son came to my house to do the welding and installations. He's a true professional. He was able to complete the projects in a timely manner. The third project was a custom design security door for the back of my house. I sent Andres the photo of what I wanted, and again his team was able to create what I asked for. I absolutely love love love this door. Even after 4 years, it's still looking perfect!! This project took a lot longer, over 2.5 months to complete. Keep in mind that this was during the pandemic in January 2022. In the end, I was truly satisfied with the results, so it was definitely worth all the wait. I hope to hire Andres and his team to do more projects for me in the near future. I greatly respect his magnificent work and craftsmanship. He's got an eye for detail!!

This has been one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I've ever had. I signed my…read morecontract and paid my deposit in September and was told the work would begin within 2-3 weeks. Instead, nothing started for over a month -- and only after I repeatedly followed up asking what the delay was. Communication was consistently poor. I had to chase updates instead of receiving them proactively. After becoming frustrated, I requested a change in materials. Only then was I told the delay was due to materials -- something that should have been communicated upfront. Even two weeks after making that change, still no work had been done, yet I was asked for a large additional advance payment. By month three, work finally began -- but only partially, because not all materials had arrived. Weeks later, the front gate was installed. Upon final inspection, the vinyl walls noticeably move. When I questioned this, I was told they "need to settle." It has now been months since installation, and the vinyl still moves. The front gate is visibly lopsided, and the overall workmanship appears rushed and sloppy. I have made multiple requests for these issues to be corrected. Each time, I am met with excuses and no real effort to resolve the problems. I paid in good faith and expected professional communication, quality workmanship, and accountability. Instead, I experienced delays, poor communication, and unfinished or substandard work. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

Either we encounters companies not willing to do it, it was too expansive, or the company was out right difficult to work with. We were so trilled when they agreed to take on the project with this design. The gate came out way better than we expected. It is truly amazing and we get TONS of compliments on it.

In mid-April, I contacted 6 metal fabricators requesting a custom iron double gate to replace a…read more20-year-old dilapidated wooden gate. JRC's Jesse promptly arrived, carefully measured the space, and took many notes on my design. JRC's final estimate was very detailed, and the cost was exactly what I had expected between the other estimates I'd received. I put down 50%, and Jesse said it should take 4-6 weeks. Everything was going well until I realized it was the beginning of June and I hadn't heard from Jesse in 8 weeks. After my calls went unreturned, I emailed JRC's Director of Operations, Stephanie, who replied, "Jesse said he and one of our welders are working on your order, and you can expect completion in about a week. By Monday, we should have a better scope of exact install dates." After still not hearing from Jesse by the end of June, I reached out to Stephanie again for an update, who reported, "Our welder said he expects himself to be done tomorrow. We will be sending it to be powder coated, which just takes a day or 2." Another 3 weeks later in mid-July, with no installation date scheduled, I got a last-minute call explaining that they just had a cancellation and that they could install it today if I was available. Arnie arrived within the spontaneously scheduled window and got right to work installing the gate and meticulously making sure it was exactly right. He even hauled away the heavy old gate, which was very much appreciated. In the end, I'm very happy with the final build and installation, but JRC's communication leaves much room for improvement. I'd reached out to Jesse on a few occasions, and it took weeks to get a single response. A simple message that things were moving slower than expected or that it was going to take 12 weeks instead of 4-6 would have gone a long way. Also, having an actual installation date versus a last-minute cancellation that I could fill for them would have improved the overall process. Thankfully, Arnie left a very strong and professional last impression, as did Stephanie for her prompt and repeated replies. I only wish I didn't have to manage the project after all the missed milestones and awkward radio silences.

They have disregard for people's safety. When they weld there's no protection from the arc flash. They have no guards on there grinders. I got more videos and photos but this is just one of many. I tried talking to the welder and he started being rude and going off on me. The owner does not care about tenants or anyone. I had to call the cops due to one of the employees wanting to fight. I have witnesses that he was being hostile and the owner just stood there and did nothing. I have videos and pictures of them leaving welding rod and everything everywhere so you can get cut
