Mushrooms
Amy C.

We went here for my birthday dinner a couple months ago. We started off with the Brie baguette which was delicious! I also got a glass of wine before dinner. We had the roasted chicken for dinner with the mushroom and frites. Really enjoyed the chicken and mashed potatoes. Did not really love the flavor or texture of the mushrooms. And the frites were good but nothing special. Our server was attentive and brought a dessert for my birthday. The vibe of the place is cool very moody. It was a good spot but probably would only choose it for a special occasion as it is pretty pricey. But I liked it a lot! Great birthday dinner.

I don't know how this isn't on yelp already, but this little cafe in the bottom of the Global Ambassador is so cute! I think it's like the daytime Le Ame, they have coffee, matcha, pastries and regular breakfast. I only had a coffee which was delicious but the food looks good! The staff were very friendly.

First time at Le Ame after a few visits to Global and it honestly exceeded expectations! Our server was kind and attentive and the food was super flavorful! We shared everything and I really appreciated the fact they split our sandwhich entree for both of us. The ambiance feels like you're in a themed vegas restaurant and not in Az. Super charming!

One of my favorite spots due to the ambiance and atmosphere ! This is at the global ambassador and You feel like you're in France ! I've never been to France but this is what I imagine it looks like on this street. similar to Barcelona. This is a hot date night spot, and in fact was my first date with my current bf ! Top shelf liquor and a pretty decent steak! An extensive wine list and they may even let you taste the wine like they allowed me. I was excited to taste a $45 glass of wine. That was a first! Wasn't my favorite But still I love to wine taste. I wound up getting the clay Shannon. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff !

If you're looking for a place where the ego-to-entree ratio is wildly skewed, welcome home. Le Âme is essentially a high-budget film set for people whose entire personality is "I once spent a weekend in the 8th Arrondissement." The decor is stunning, but the atmosphere is thick with the scent of $400 hair appointments and desperation. The hostess looked at my outfit with the kind of soul-crushing judgment usually reserved for people who clap when the plane lands. The service is "European," which in Phoenix translates to: "I will acknowledge your existence once every twenty minutes, provided you look like you own a yacht." Our server was "mesmerizingly handsome" (their words, not mine--okay, maybe mine too), but the pacing was... leisurely. If you have plans later in the decade, you might want to order your dessert menu when you sit down. Overall, I actually love the food here and would recommend coming during the week when perhaps the staff are in better spirits.

Absolutely flawless location, super upscale ambiance with that GATSBY vibe. The service was some of the best I've had in the valley, extremely educated waiter, very attentive & respectful, good food knowledge. The Food was flawlessly prepared from appetizers to dessert! Duck spring rolls were fabulous, can't go wrong with any entree, and the desserts were each unique and flavorful! 5* for sure

Good French inspired restaurant! Went here over the Valentine weekend with reservations. The interior is beautifully ensembled and was probably my favorite part of this location honestly. It really looks amazing indoors at night. Since we had reservations (and considering it was basically still valentine's day) we were seated quite promptly even though we arrived a little later than expected. The place was PACKED when we arrived and seating was fairly close to one another. Service was great at checking on us, taking our orders, and refilling our drinks without letting them sit too long. We were celebrating an anniversary so they served us two glasses of wine(?) as well as a cookie dessert on the house. Definitely nice gestures, especially since both tasted good. We ordered quite a bit of food, some of which I wasn't too thrilled with. The Truffled Brie Baguette was decent but underwhelming in my opinion and didn't really justify the price for 4 pieces of stuffed bread. The Steak Tartare was okay but on the salty side. As for the other food and drinks, such as the Truffle Twice Baked Potato and Old Fashioned were both really good. The main entrees like the Ricotta Ravioli and Sole were amazing, but a little much considering proportions and price. I'm not local to the AZ but I had a great time here and so did my girlfriend. We will definitely come back again to celebrate anniversaries or other special moments as I feel this restaurant definitely looks the part, but maybe partially lacks in some spots that could easily be improved with time and effort.

Oh my goodness, this was a fabulous experience! If you're looking for a romantic date night spot that's definitely more upscale than your run-of-the-mill chain steakhouse joint, but not snooty or ridiculously priced, this is it! For the amazing service, quality food, and amazing vibes, this was so worth the price. The steaks we got were cooked exactly how we asked, and the sides were soooo tasty. We had to get two variations of potatoes of course, because I'm obsessed with potatoes for sides and that twice-baked potato was HEAVENLY! A heads up, their espresso martinis are sooo delicious... but a little dangerous... I was definitely feeling mine after half the glass! I would love to come back and try more of the appetizers, or the oysters, because I hear they're great. But, this was a fantastic spot for a Valentine's dinner date, and I highly recommend for anyone looking to splurge a little bit for a celebration. It looks like they had some bigger tables too for larger groups so that's an option! Parking was free if you get your ticket validated, but the garage is a slight walk away. Heads up on getting a reservation in advance too, it looks like their walk-in wait was pretty long, and I'm sure for holiday/seasonal times it can be busy. I got mine about 2 weeks in advance for the day after Valentine's day!

We had such a great experience at Le Ame inside The Global Ambassador. The space is beautiful and feels really elegant. definitely a great spot for a special night out. For drinks I ordered the Parisian Spritz, which was light, refreshing, and a perfect way to start the night. For dinner I got the truffle chicken and it was so good. Our server mentioned it's one of their more popular dishes and that they tend to run out, so if you see it on the menu I'd definitely recommend ordering it while you can. For dessert we shared the Toffee & Pecan Gateaux and wow... it was amazing. 1000/10 recommend The service was also 5 star. Our server was super attentive and did a great job explaining the menu and pointing out the must have dishes, which we really appreciated. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the food, service, and overall experience made it totally worth it. I'd absolutely come back again for another special dinner.

Old fashioned Ora King Salmon

Le Ame inside The Global Ambassador is such a cool restaurant tucked away toward the back of the first floor of what is an absolutely stunning hotel. The atmosphere was extremely lively, and the staff was phenomenal. All team members were attentive, frequently checking on the table, and excellent with recommendations. I ordered their Old Fashioned, which was wonderfully made. For dinner, I tried the Ora King Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great, though it was almost a bit too oily/fatty for my personal preference. Next time I'd probably go for a steak, as those looked incredible. Overall, I was very impressed and it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're celebrating any special occasions!

Place lives up to the hype. Overall, great service, clean, and great ambiance. The food was amazing. Some things I personally wouldn't get again but overall can't complain about the dishes we got. I'd also recommend being careful with ordering drinks. The drinks are good but can rack up a big bill fast. We had Tyra as our server and she was awesome, friendly, and super welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Came here for a friends birthday, and it was so great. Valet parking was easy, the restaurant was busy but it was well paced. We had four people in our party, we sat at a small, extremely dark table. You can see that by some of the photos maybe. It was near the front but it would have been nice for a little extra light near the tables on the edge. Cocktails were great, we had gyoza and Cesar salad to start and were very happy. Our mains were 2 steaks, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and some noodles. Everything was great!!! Service was great too, no complaints there.

Le Ame has won a customer for life. They rolled out the red carpet for us and gave us a memorable night to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious, everything cooked to perfection. The service could not have been better, thank you to the entire team. A special thank you to our server Nekane, she took great care of us. All the small touches made the entire experience perfection!

There is a little lounge seating area with sofas and a huge painting of an outdoor scene. It's kind of cool. I also love the lighting which feels like little balls floating over the tables. Our server was fantastic - very attentive and friendly and cute as a bug's ear. We started by ordering drinks. Hubby just ordered a beer, and I got the Raspberry Baray. I've ordered a different cocktail from their menu every time I've come and this has been my favorite. It was delish! For starter we got the meatballs served on creamy polenta. They were fantastic and quite large. I love them! For entrees, hubby got the Atlantic salmon with fingerling potatoes and I got the center cut filet with mashed potatoes and baby carrots. Both were so yummy. My filet was cooked exactly the way I love it. For dessert, hubby had the lemon cake with Bavarian cream and I had the butter cake with strawberries and whipped cream. They were both heavenly! If you come, make sure that you have a reservation. We saw many people trying to drop in without a reservation. They were sent to the bar but at one point there were no seats at the bar so people had to just leave.

After being sat down, the host asked if we preferred bottled water, sparkling or still. We chose still and never received this during our meal. I can only assume this wasn't relayed to our server. For appetizers, we both were intrigued by the "Caviar Bump." This is brought out on a trolly, and the server scoops then places a quarter sized amount of caviar on opposite side of your ball of thumb. He instructs us the best way to enjoy this caviar is to gently press it against the roof of your mouth with your tongue. Both of us are in agreeance that compared to the other times we've had caviar; this was a bit fishy and tasted passed it prime. Onto mains, my partner opted in for the double smash burger which was great. Our server/kitchen was kind enough to upgrade her side to one of their special salads which was great. As for me, I opted in for their eggs benedict, upgrading to their king crab. I found this tasty, but I found the overall flavours overpowered the taste of the crab. Both dishes were beautifully presented, and our server was casual and was a pleasure. We're happy to make this our first meal visiting Phoenix, and if we were to come back, they have an amazing looking dinner menu we'd love to try.

If you had a question, he got an answer. If you needed anything, he got it covered. He provided a very relaxing evening after a long work week. Additionally, all of our food came out in a very timely manner. Now the food. For starters, I opted for the tenderloin chili which was very flavorful. Despite the cheese not looking melted on top of the chili, it was perfectly heated and had a little spicy kick to it as well. The jalapeño honey cornbread was the perfect pairing. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Both items were very delicious. For drinks I had the copper spur which was a slight riff on a classic gold rush cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was like chocolate pudding with pizazz. Again, both items were very good. All in all, I would absolutely return. Easy 5/5 for me .

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. I think the standout for both of us was the cucumber salad. The entrees are the only reason I am not giving a full five stars, because while both were such high-quality, the steak was hard for my friend to separate from the bone, and the octopus was overly salty.
