A daily must because of Evelyn's hospitality Le Cafe on Park Avenue South is truly one of my favorite spots in the city. The food and beverage are consistently outstanding, and everything is always fresh, fast, and delicious. My go-to order is the Turkey Avo breakfast sandwich. It's honestly the perfect start to the day. Their coffee is excellent, and the iced tea is amazing as well. But what makes Le Cafe special, and the reason I come back every single day is Evelyn. She makes everyone feel welcome and at home the moment you walk in. She has an incredible smile, remembers so many customers, and treats people like friends, not transactions. Her warmth and energy genuinely set the tone for my day. As a hospitality executive with one of the top hotel companies in the country, I can confidently say that Evelyn exemplifies what true hospitality is. This cute cafe was so great! The small cold brew with whole milk was the perfect amount to wake me up in the morning. I also got the ricottza toast, which took a little longer than I expected to be prepared. I had heard great things about this place since it's near my job I decided to stop by. It is really cold 23°, when I walked in, I noticed that the employees were all bundled up, wearing their hats, and it seemed that they could barely move from the constant flow of the cold air coming in. The space was too cold to sit down and eat my croissant. It was unpleasant to step into what I expected to be a warm coffee shop, and be met with the same cold I was trying to avoid in the first place! The staff was all very friendly and super accommodating, which was the only redeeming quality of the . I appreciate them for trying to warm up my drink and offering to heat up my croissant. But I probably won't be back anytime soon until the spring if the heating is not fixed! read more

I just discovered Le Cafe Coffee. Yes I am a big fan of coffee, it's my go to pick me up. This is my second time here. First time I had the Pistachio latte, I had it iced and it was delicious! Today I am trying their dulce de leche latte. It's good but it could use a little more dulce de leche. I love sweets so this is why i say this. Some people don't, so for those who don't it would probably be perfect for you. The establishment is clean and the decor is just beautiful! Such a cute little cafe, love the ambience. Service is very very quick. Prices are a bit on the higher range and they charge extra for nut milks/oat milk etc.. They also sell some breakfast items, avocado toasts/different types of toast and pastries which all sound very appetizing and I have on my bucket list to try but that will have to wait for one of my cheat days as I am trying to watch what I eat . All in all I would definitely recommend this place as the coffee is very fresh tasting, will add updates once I taste any of their food items. read more

This cafe is super clean, bright, and cozy! I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk which is my usual go-to however, it was my first time coming to this cafe. The matcha was pretty good, it was around $7 for a medium and the matcha flavor was still there however, like most matcha's the flavor gets diluted by the oat milk. The only space available was the window counter, so we grabbed it so we wouldn't have to eat our breakfast in the sweltering heat. Really beautiful little cafe on Park Ave South between E 27th and E 28th. Nice coffee selection and food selection as well. I enjoy pastries when I go to cafes, but I also sometimes crave something a little more nutritious and lunch-like. The menu boasts a number of different kinds of toasts, good for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. I got the avocado toast and it was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The cold brew was also very nice. Service was quick and kind. Nice indoor seating and outdoor seating as well. A great spot! read more

I ordered delivery and was excited to find that Le Cafe offers lavender lattes. (I love lavender and not many coffee shops have lavender syrup.) This one did not disappoint and arrived still hot. However I was sad to find that the banana toast, though very good and beautifully presented, did not seem to include any Nutella as described in the menu- only peanut butter- and instead seemed to be drizzled with some kind of chocolate sauce. read more

Le Cafe has the perfect - and increasingly rare in NYC - combination of quality and affordability. My small lavender latte was delicious, actually kind of large for a latte, served in a prettily designed to-go cup, and about $6 to boot. The latte's floral notes did not overpower but rather blended nicely with the quality espresso. The foam didn't immediately dissipate. I miss Le Cafe. This was my go-to daily coffee shop back when I worked up in Midtown (they have a location on 55th/Lex) and again when I worked on this block. Their drip coffee is consistently brewed and their large is actually large. Most importantly, their baristas are genuine people with a sense of humor. Which is the kinda energy I need first thing in the morning when I'm barely functioning. Also, their almond croissants are on point. Since I got to work in the area, I decided to check out what's good for coffee in the neighborhood on my Ritual app. I stumbled upon Le Cafe so why not? My lavender latte with oat milk was ready by the time I walked over (within 5 mins). Quick & speedy, my order was ready to be picked up with a breeze. The barista even taped the opening for me so I wouldn't spill it on my way out. But I stayed a little bit longer because there was a pic of a breakfast sammie that caught my eye. Well, had 5 mins left before I had to clock in so I ordered the Rise Up. Now can I tell you how delicious it was?! It looked EXACTLY like the pic in the window. The bagel was soft, chewy, yet crisp on the outside. The eggs scrambled well mixed with seasoned mayo, that made it tasted like an egg salad I could eat whenever (and hell, I'm picky with my egg salads). Plus, there was a good portion of avocado slices with drizzled olive oil. Now, I'm not a breakfast sammie kinda gal, but Le Cafe might just convert me. The service was great, I received my order (the sunrise) a little later than the rest of my group and the staff was kind enough to give me a croissant. The latte I ordered was good too! Evelyn & Courtney The Park Ave South "Dream Team"! If you've ever had avocado toast you've never had it like Courtney's before and I am an avocado toast aficionado! From Sarabeths to The Bluestone Lane Cafe, Courtney's toast tops them all. There's one catch though. I've tried it four other times at the same Park Ave South location on days she isn't working and it's not even a remotely close comparison. Courtney's version is mildly sweet with just enough spice, perfectly toasted with just the right amount of everything. She'll even slice the multigrain paper thin for those carb watchers out there. It's my go to Monday morning breakfast ONLY if she's there. I pair it with an americano or green tea late with pistachio milk by Evelyn. Evelyn provides the best customer service in town and makes the best coffee! She'll also put a smile on your face every morning. She remembers everyones name, order and makes every drink with love. Ordered breakfast from here on seamless on a weekday. Tried the avocado toast and asked for an egg on it. Accidentally came with smoked salmon instead of the egg, which was fine with me. The toast was pretty thin/crunchy. There was a generous portion of smashed avocado with a lemon squeeze, chili pepper, and some other spices. Really delicious!! This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan. The baristas are super friendly and they make a strong cup of coffee. Usually I find that flavored lattes are too sweet or don't have enough coffee flavor, but I go in every morning for an iced lavender latte and it keeps me charged all day. Mostly things are good here. I really kind of like their bagels / sandwiches - they are delicious. SO likes their hot coffee concoctions. BUT - if youre going to charge 5+ dollars for an iced coffee, it needs to be consistently good. 50% of hte time it tastes like stale burned coffee from the day or days before. Don't charge $6 after tip for shitty iced coffee.. 50% of the time its good. Get that part consistent and I'll update this. read more
