The food, the service and the ambiance is all there. I love coffee shops and this became one of my faves. If I lived closer, I'd def come by more often. The food was so delicious and it came by quickly and the coffee was amazing. The pastries and the dessert, ofc was good too! My toddler ate all of his chocolate croissant. Def recommend the avocado toast! They also have sugar free options.
We passed by Le Cafe Du Val during a drive in Henderson and thought a lovely lunch here would be a nice experience. We learned they also have a sister restaurant - Le Cafe du Sud in Southern Highlands. This is a counter service establishment - you get in line to order and pay and get our number and find a seat. There is a lot of menu items and ready made pastries so your eyes will have to move quickly to decide on your final order. There are plenty of seats indoors and out, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And water is self service as well. * Raclette Galette $15.99 - This gluten-free buckwheat crepe is served with raclette cheese, sunny side up egg, potatoes, bacon and ham. I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. It was good. * Melba Crepe $13.99 - It's a sweet crepe that's topped with poached peach, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream. It's simple and exactly as described. * Mini Lobster Rolls $18.99 - The lobster meat is mixed with celery, chives, and mayo and served on a butter toasted brioche buns. These are indeed mini rolls, so you may be hungry after eating them. Service - there really isn't too much to talk about as you order at the register and have minimal contact with the staff beyond them bringing the order to your table. I had to bring my plate to the staff member when I had the issue. I do appreciate their desire to fix my order though. Overall, Le Cafe du Val was just an okay experience for us. The food didn't stand out for us in the way that we hoped.
Came on a Tuesday morning and they were relatively busy. Great spot for people to get coffee and catch up, or get some work done as well. The interior design is open seating, has plenty of natural light, and has a bright design. Very welcoming and a nice spot to spend a few hours! Although the food is not bad, my only gripe is that the spot is pretty expensive for small portions. Almond Croissant (7/10, $7) - It has a fantastic almond crunch paste on the inside that was not too sweet, but very filling. - The croissant was nicely toasted. Prosciutto Sandwich (6/10, $16) - The sandwich comes with a small side salad that was pretty bland. Just some vegetables and some dressing that tasted a little sour. - The bread was delicious, the prosciutto is tasty, and their cheese blends everything together well. - The reason for the 6/10 and overall 3-star review is because of portion sizes and price. At $16, I would expect a side of potatoes. Friends got their eggs Benedict, and at a similar price point, it came only with the Benedict and no sides. Overall, a nice, cute spot with plenty of seating and parking and good coffee. Expect for things to be expensive and portion sizes to be small, hence the lower star review.
This place is a GEM! Everything looks BEAUTIFUL and tastes AMAZING. Freshly baked goods, delicious coffee, cute ambiance, friendly service. We stumbled upon this cafe on our way home from church (we are new to the area). We'll be back every Sunday now. Simply the best!
Visited Le Cafe Du Val for the first time! It's a French-inspired cafe with both savory and sweet options to choose from. The decor inside is charming, and the set-up is pretty casual - you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. We came on a weekday morning and the service was quick. Good amount of indoor seating, and plenty of parking in the square. We were interested in the short rib shakshouka, but unfortunately they were out when we visited! Decided to go for a prosciutto sandwich instead, along with a latte and almond croissant. Prosciutto Sandwich ($15.99, 4.5/5) - Big fan of the bread they use here! - Flavors were light and fresh - Good portion size for the price Latte ($5.99, 5/5) - Solid latte, paired well with the almond croissant. Almond croissant ($6.25, 4.5/5) - Nice crunch on the outside, topped with almond slices - Almond filling with just the right consistency. A little on the sweeter side, but worked out well with our coffee to balance it out. Overall, had a great time at Cafe Du Val and would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu!
Came with friends for a special birthday brunch. Such a sweet lil place. Spacier than I thought. The service was friendly and attentive. It's nice to be greeted with a smile. We had avocado toast, raspberry rhubarb delight and Nutella crepes. Just what you want it to taste like. The lattes were spot on. We will definitely return
We have heard so much about this Henderson gem that we wanted to give it a try on Easter. The place is cute with plenty of inside and outside seating and even a wine bar. The staff were plentiful and very customer oriented. The coffee was amazing and the place smelled incredible. You are forced to walk by all the sweet and savory delights to get to the order point. I think I walked so slow gazing the person behind me asked to jump the line. We ordered and paid at the register and they delivered the order as it was ready. We both thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals and I got to enjoy some of Danielle's too! . Definitely going to put this on the "show this place off to visitors" list!
This place is always busy, clean and yummy! When Hubby and I want good food that is not heavy or a snack we come here! We are in love with their Chicken Sandwich by the way! Everyone there is always busy yet so friendly. We love coming here!

Went to Le Cafe Du Val for a random weekday brunch with my parents. I've checked in here on Yelp before but I somehow missed out on writing a review for them. This was our last opportunity to sit outside before it starts cooling down later this week and into next week. The parking lot was packed to the brim, but I found a space a little further down the complex and walked over. My parents had arrived before me, found a nice table outside on the patio (lucky for us because it was so busy) and waited to take their order before I arrived. My dad and I walked inside to place our order. Obviously, this is a cafe, so I had to have a cup of coffee. I ordered a cappuccino with a lavender flavor inside...for some reason I think lavender goes quite well with coffee. I almost went with the vanilla, but when I saw lavender on the flavor menu, I went with that instead. Both my parents got a latte...all three of them had that sweet, foamy top on it, with the lattes featuring that awesome foam art. For food, I ordered a tuna melt and my dad ordered a quiche, both came with salad greens on the side. My mom does not eat a whole lot of calories during most hours of the day, so she ordered a crepe with pretty much nothing on it. When she got it, it was unrolled and it looked exactly like a slice of pizza with no sauce and toppings on it, which I thought was funny. My dad's quiche had spinach inside and my tuna melt came with cheese and other various veggies. Everything here was amazing, including the coffee. Highly recommend this place! It's nice to have a French cafe in the neighborhood with great food and great coffee.
2nd chances We meet again. My first experience a few years ago didn't bring me back. Hopefully the do over is better. Smoky, contemporary elegant with chandeliers. No greeting for me nor the 5 people entering after. Once finally acknowledged by 1/3 people the process was expeditious. Later in the day, 12, I was sent to find cheery yogurt danishes....all gone. A very popular item, but yummy looking alternatives. Beignets(fruit, Nutella filled) and cheesecake should suffice. The cheese cake for me wasn't praiseworthy but the beignets were good.
Mother's Day brunch at Le Cafe du Val was absolutely worth the wait. We arrived to a line out the door with at least 25 people waiting and a completely full dining room, which honestly told us everything we needed to know before we even sat down. We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.
The food 9 out of 10. The customer service 10/10. The room was inviting and clean the jazz playing was in the background amazing. The coffee omg the best so far I've had. So good. OK, my Smoked Salmon benedict was amazing on the baguette toast was epic. I would not want it ever again on an English muffin, never. The cheesecake was fantastic, as was the apple turnover, flaky and just so freaking delicious. Let's talk about the lobster sliders.... GUUURRRLLLL. We will be bringing folks and will be there as many Sunday's as i can.

This charming little spot definitely has a buzzy vibe, especially around Sunday 10 AM expect a bit of a crowd. You pick your own seat first, then line up to order at the counter. The menu is posted on the wall, and there's a lot to choose from. While waiting, you can watch a guy making fresh crepes, which is fun and gives the place an authentic touch. The pastries and tarts look amazing, and I was tempted to try more than one. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon Benedict, which came with avocado and arugula, flavorful and satisfying. I couldn't finish it, so I grabbed a to-go box. I also had a La Colombe canned cold brew (unsweetened, blue can), wish I had known ahead it was canned, but it was still solid. The vibe is very French, I was literally surrounded by French speakers, and the music and chandeliers gave me that France café nostalgia. That said, it was pretty noisy inside between the coffee machine, fridge slams, and overlapping convos. Outdoor seating is available, but Vegas heat says no thanks . Now, the not-so-great part: the tables weren't wiped, mine was sticky, and the chair had crumbs. The cashier didn't smile, and there wasn't really any warm customer service. The younger servers were efficient, but not particularly friendly, they seemed focused and all business. Bonus points for having Tea Forte teas, which I love! There's also a bar area, but it looked empty with just a few champagne bottles, unclear when (or if) that's in use. Cute spot, tasty food, but a little chaotic and could use a bit more attention to service and cleanliness. read more

Looking for a French bakery without flying to France? This is the place. I don't like to be judgmental, but I judged this place based on one item: The Almond Croissant, and they did not disappoint. I was also surprised to see my favorite French candy, Callison's D'Aix for sale. I have never seen these in the U.S., I have to buy them when in France, so this place is the real deal. I am glad we do not have a bakery like this in the Detroit area, I'd be much larger and poorer. Service was excellent and the ambiance is nice and spacious. Honestly I was a lil disappointed lets start off with the place its big outside seating very nice my disappointment is on the pastries had a cheese Danish flavor was good but so cold they must of just took it out the freezer not warm at all the spinach and artichoke quiche big but flavor was not good also a ham and cheese croissant we added bacon that was the best also a latte almond milk it was room temp not hot and my big con was they bring out one thing at a time i had finished my quiche by the time his croissant came out total was $45 read more

Went back this past Sunday. Room out for us and our fur baby. My husband had "the complete galette". He loves it. I had the artichoke galette. So yummy. I can't say enough about the food and pastries. read more
What a beautiful gem in Henderson! I was eyeing this place for a while and finally had a minute to stop by. Such a beautiful cafe. Very French. With French people speaking French in the background. Lol All the pastries are so beautiful! I didn't get to eat any "make to order" items. But somehow have no doubt- they are delicious!! I've been here twice in just two weeks, and with all the coffee shop options out there, that says a lot. The coffee is top-notch (highly recommend the red eye, coffee with a shot of espresso), and the pastries? Almost like being back in Paris (try the yogurt and cherry danish!) The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the whole place just radiates good vibes. Definitely a neighborhood gem worth checking out! read more

Stopped by on Saturday morning. Order at the counter, then have a seat. Nice indoor and patio seating available. We opted for indoors. We ordered the Short Rib Shakshouka. It came with short rib, tomato, onion, fresh pepper, and sunny side up egg. It was accompanied with side crostinis. The bursting flavors went so well together. I also ordered a Rose and it was tasty. Just stopped in for the first time today. I'm new to the area and needed a coffee break. I'm so glad I stopped in here! The selection of desserts is amazing and very hard to choose just one. But I got the basque cheesecake (damn good) and a latte. The latte is very good too! I will definitely be a frequent visitor here. It probably won't be my go-to coffee spot EVERY day just because its a tad bit pricey ($7 for small latte). But I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a cute little cafe with really great choices. I love it! read more
The best french café i have had in such a long time! Very delicious and authentic. (I'm a french gal and definitely recommend this spot!) Café was very clean, they play authentic french bistro music (very relaxing and lovely), they have a bar area that i seen, they also sell exclusive and superior olive oils/ white balsamics to make your own very unique tasty vinaigrettes at home! They also sell honey de provence and lots of unique european candy's! here's what i ordered- [Smoked salmon salad] : Was very delicious, tasteful and loved the citrus vinaigrette it came with, not too sour and enhances the flavor of the salad making it very unique. For the price rounding up to almost $20 i got very generous portion of smoked salmon in my salad and definitely filled me up with the boiled eggs! ** i did wish the vinaigrette came on the side instead of over the salad already so i can decide how much i would've want to put on my salad but that's okay it was still so delicious! [pain au chocolat] aka chocolatine: Very delicious and fresh, i loved the fact that it wasn't crunchy like most chocolatines, they're usually pretty crunchy made with puff pastry and make such a mess but this one was very doughy, soft and fresh which hit the spot and i didn't make ANY mess over myself ! read more
The pastries and food here are 5 stars, maybe even more. For that reason, I've been back here 4 times now. But EVERY time I come here the service is SO frustrating. I've been to a million bakeries and every one of them help you while you're waiting in line, allowing you to point to the things you want. Here, as I'm learning each time how their system works... you have to wait til you get to the register, eventhough there's 5-6 people standing behind the counter not really doing anything but talking or getting trained by a super. Once you get to the register they just ask you what you want to without any inclination to walk back to the pastries to allow you to point out what you want thru the glass case. So in essence, you have to remember the name of every item you want, even if you want several different items. Ours was a to go order, I gave them my name and then sat in nearby seating to wait. After about 15 minutes I didn't hear our name called, and was wondering how long it would take to make a latte and box our stuff. If it wasn't for one of the waitresses telling us that "sometimes they put orders over by that table" we never would have known. The food is expert. But the lack of customer service instinct, helpfulness, and communication is dumbfounding. Now that I've experienced this multiple times, I feel like I can objectively assess this situation. So first off I would like to say the ambiance is absolutely to die for! The chandeliers to the interior decor the paint color all blends perfectly! It is very busy but shockingly no wait. There were out of a handful of warm sandwiches which was a a bummer because I love to order an array of items when trying out a new spot. It is kind of crammed inside when stepping in line to order because they do have several shelves with items for sale like right in your face when you walk in. I feel like they could move those and utilize the space for the line to order. Let's get straight to it. I ordered the turkey Swiss panini which in my opinion was prepared and cooked nicely healthy amount of turkey the cheese was nice a creamy the bread was white toasty which I love. Paired with spring mix salad and some sort of lemon vinaigrette I was not a fan of. Sandwiches overall was good. Not a big fan of mayonnaise and it did have some but it was not overpowering so I couldn't complain. The pistachio and berry tart was out of this world. My hats off the the chef who prepared that best tasting tart I have ever had thus far in my life. The fruit was nice and sweet the crust on the tart was soft and crumbly if that's word haha. The pistachio cream was so smoothy velvety cream and the over taste and texture was mind blowing. I do not like fruit tart to begin with but I bit my tongue and gave it a shot and was very satisfied. I had a red eye coffee as well just a black coffee nice and pungent nice bit at the end great flavor no sure or cream. Great coffee.! My wife got the cold ham and Swiss sandwich and I'm a sucker for a cold sandwich! It was great the way it was just a little stingy with the ham but hey it is what it is. Had baby dills wchicb added a nice crunch and acidity to it was enjoyable. Also paired with their house salad. Mt daughter had the strawberry crepe. Pretty standard when it comes to that I'm convinced almost everyone crepe taste the same and they are all good I have not had a bad one yet. I ordered few pastries to go they were that good! The employee was picking his nose those sadly I had already eating when I saw this I hope he was not doing that all day long am serving people. This place is not cheap I paired over 120$ for me and my wife and 2 year old daughter. It was an experience and I would go back based of the quality and selection. They close at 2pm though. And you must get in early because they were out of 6/7 sandwiches when I got there around 12:30 pm Overall a great little spot in Henderson Nevada just next door to the butcher block on horizon ridge. The ambience was nice I love the fact that they expanded the area and they have more room. I ordered a latte wanted something different to drink. It was delicious and exactly the way I wanted but unfortunately the avocado toast wasn't. The bread was over toasted and it was hard to eat. I did told one of the staff that the bread was too hard to eat. She said thats the way supposed to be. The truth is that I never had it like that before, but I didn't wanted to make a big deal so I left it like that. I was just disappointed! You can see how dark the toast is in the picture. read more

We REALLY enjoyed ourselves at this cafe!!! Very spacious place, and the decor was very cute! Staff was nice, no issues with service. Of course, except some pricier items, because this is a specialized sort of cafe, focusing on a particular cuisine. With that being said, I absolutely loved everything that we ordered! My favorite (surprisingly) was the cinnamon roll, because it was so flaky and delicious and different from your typical cinnamon roll. The breakfast sandwich was so good! Every thing we tried was actually really tasty. The salad accompanying the breakfast sandwiches had a nice tart dressing. I can't wait to try more items on their menu!!! read more

First time here. Tried a Croissant Sandwich which came with a side salad; also, a seasonal Pumpkin Turnover made with a pumpkin filling, and Jasmine Green Tea. I asked for cream on the side and didn't add sweetener, so it perfectly complimented the sweet turnover. There was a line but it moved quickly and it was easy to checkout with Apple Pay. Beautiful chandeliers throughout the interior with a bar for evening. Lovely place. I would return as long as the atmosphere remains casual. read more

My wifey finally got her crepe and we're only 2 minutes down the road! We've driven by here for 3 years and never tried but had a very good experience. Great atmosphere and service. Their Americano is excellent. I had a pastry but they have a full menu. There's also a small 10 seat bar off to the side and they offer a daily happy hour!! read more

Very reasonable. I wouldn't say it's on the high side, nor is it on the low side. I think it is fair.

There is limited seating and it's a small place when it gets busy it can be loud. I'd say not really.
Do they take reservations?
Yes, they took our luncheon reservations, so it looks like they take reservations for the entire day.
Do you have any gluten free options?
No gluten free bakeries or cookies. They buy their bakeries, so no guarantee a dedicated gluten free label. And the bakery case an open counter so there's a chance of cross contamination if you are celiac's.
Are there any dairy free crepe?
Yes there is a savory dairy free buckwheat crepe!
