This charming little spot definitely has a buzzy vibe, especially around Sunday 10 AM expect a bit of a crowd. You pick your own seat first, then line up to order at the counter. The menu is posted on the wall, and there's a lot to choose from. While waiting, you can watch a guy making fresh crepes, which is fun and gives the place an authentic touch. The pastries and tarts look amazing, and I was tempted to try more than one. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon Benedict, which came with avocado and arugula, flavorful and satisfying. I couldn't finish it, so I grabbed a to-go box. I also had a La Colombe canned cold brew (unsweetened, blue can), wish I had known ahead it was canned, but it was still solid. The vibe is very French, I was literally surrounded by French speakers, and the music and chandeliers gave me that France café nostalgia. That said, it was pretty noisy inside between the coffee machine, fridge slams, and overlapping convos. Outdoor seating is available, but Vegas heat says no thanks . Now, the not-so-great part: the tables weren't wiped, mine was sticky, and the chair had crumbs. The cashier didn't smile, and there wasn't really any warm customer service. The younger servers were efficient, but not particularly friendly, they seemed focused and all business. Bonus points for having Tea Forte teas, which I love! There's also a bar area, but it looked empty with just a few champagne bottles, unclear when (or if) that's in use. Looking for a French bakery without flying to France? This is the place. I don't like to be judgmental, but I judged this place based on one item: The Almond Croissant, and they did not disappoint. I was also surprised to see my favorite French candy, Callison's D'Aix for sale. I have never seen these in the U.S., I have to buy them when in France, so this place is the real deal. I am glad we do not have a bakery like this in the Detroit area, I'd be much larger and poorer. Service was excellent and the ambiance is nice and spacious. I want to make an update to my review. We went this weekend. The food and pastries are still excellent. I do not like their order process and food service inside the restaurant. Here are the issues in my opinion: - Tip options - When you pay, the tip options start at 18% (this is not a full-service dining experience, so this should be lower). I know you can manually change the tip amount, but the auto option should be at least 15%. We are ordering at a counter, not with a wait staff. - Food delivery - Our food arrived before our coffee and latte. Coffee should arrive first. Also, food arrived at all different times for all three of us. I am talking 5 -10 minutes different times. Oddly, the eggs benedict arrived before the coffee and crapes. - Dining area service - The staff that manage the dining area and deliver the food are not friendly at all. They seem unhappy and stressed. They do not smile or greet you in any way. - Water - The self-serve water station with plastic cups is very low end for what is trying to be a nice French cafe. Bring people glasses of water if they ask for it. - Coffee refills - It is very hard to get a refill if they are busy. They have a coffee refill near the register, but this area is very congested. A nice coffee refill station or staff walking around doing refills would be a much nicer experience. -Clearing empty plates - They do not clear dirty plates quickly at all. Our empty plates sat on our table for way too long. The staff does not seem to look for empty plates as they walk around. They walked past our dirty, empty plates several times. I hope management will read this and consider some changes to make the experience better. This is a wonderful cafe with very great food. Please do not forget about the service in the dining area. I also think a full-service dining area would be a good idea (with a waiter or waitress). read more

We've been coming here every summer on our yearly trip to lake mead. We always stop here and every time we have the same experience with who I believe is the owner. He's just cold and rude. As a business owner myself I would be embarrassed to act this way towards customers. While the banana fosters French toast is amazing, I think we will take our business elsewhere next time. read more

Just stopped in for the first time today. I'm new to the area and needed a coffee break. I'm so glad I stopped in here! The selection of desserts is amazing and very hard to choose just one. But I got the basque cheesecake (damn good) and a latte. The latte is very good too! I will definitely be a frequent visitor here. It probably won't be my go-to coffee spot EVERY day just because its a tad bit pricey ($7 for small latte). The best french café i have had in such a long time! Very delicious and authentic. (I'm a french gal and definitely recommend this spot!) Café was very clean, they play authentic french bistro music (very relaxing and lovely), they have a bar area that i seen, they also sell exclusive and superior olive oils/ white balsamics to make your own very unique tasty vinaigrettes at home! They also sell honey de provence and lots of unique european candy's! here's what i ordered- [Smoked salmon salad] : Was very delicious, tasteful and loved the citrus vinaigrette it came with, not too sour and enhances the flavor of the salad making it very unique. For the price rounding up to almost $20 i got very generous portion of smoked salmon in my salad and definitely filled me up with the boiled eggs! ** i did wish the vinaigrette came on the side instead of over the salad already so i can decide how much i would've want to put on my salad but that's okay it was still so delicious! The pastries and food here are 5 stars, maybe even more. For that reason, I've been back here 4 times now. But EVERY time I come here the service is SO frustrating. I've been to a million bakeries and every one of them help you while you're waiting in line, allowing you to point to the things you want. Here, as I'm learning each time how their system works... you have to wait til you get to the register, eventhough there's 5-6 people standing behind the counter not really doing anything but talking or getting trained by a super. Once you get to the register they just ask you what you want to without any inclination to walk back to the pastries to allow you to point out what you want thru the glass case. So in essence, you have to remember the name of every item you want, even if you want several different items. Ours was a to go order, I gave them my name and then sat in nearby seating to wait. After about 15 minutes I didn't hear our name called, and was wondering how long it would take to make a latte and box our stuff. If it wasn't for one of the waitresses telling us that "sometimes they put orders over by that table" we never would have known. The food is expert. But the lack of customer service instinct, helpfulness, and communication is dumbfounding. Now that I've experienced this multiple times, I feel like I can objectively assess this situation. So first off I would like to say the ambiance is absolutely to die for! The chandeliers to the interior decor the paint color all blends perfectly! It is very busy but shockingly no wait. There were out of a handful of warm sandwiches which was a a bummer because I love to order an array of items when trying out a new spot. It is kind of crammed inside when stepping in line to order because they do have several shelves with items for sale like right in your face when you walk in. I feel like they could move those and utilize the space for the line to order. Let's get straight to it. I ordered the turkey Swiss panini which in my opinion was prepared and cooked nicely healthy amount of turkey the cheese was nice a creamy the bread was white toasty which I love. Paired with spring mix salad and some sort of lemon vinaigrette I was not a fan of. Sandwiches overall was good. Not a big fan of mayonnaise and it did have some but it was not overpowering so I couldn't complain. The pistachio and berry tart was out of this world. My hats off the the chef who prepared that best tasting tart I have ever had thus far in my life. The fruit was nice and sweet the crust on the tart was soft and crumbly if that's word haha. The pistachio cream was so smoothy velvety cream and the over taste and texture was mind blowing. I do not like fruit tart to begin with but I bit my tongue and gave it a shot and was very satisfied. I had a red eye coffee as well just a black coffee nice and pungent nice bit at the end great flavor no sure or cream. Great coffee.! My wife got the cold ham and Swiss sandwich and I'm a sucker for a cold sandwich! It was great the way it was just a little stingy with the ham but hey it is what it is. Had baby dills wchicb added a nice crunch and acidity to it was enjoyable. Also paired with their house salad. Mt daughter had the strawberry crepe. Pretty standard when it comes to that I'm convinced almost everyone crepe taste the same and they are all good I have not had a bad one yet. I ordered few pastries to go they were that good! The employee was picking his nose those sadly I had already eating when I saw this I hope he was not doing that all day long am serving people. This place is not cheap I paired over 120$ for me and my wife and 2 year old daughter. It was an experience and I would go back based of the quality and selection. They close at 2pm though. And you must get in early because they were out of 6/7 sandwiches when I got there around 12:30 pm Overall a great little spot in Henderson Nevada just next door to the butcher block on horizon ridge. It was delicious and exactly the way I wanted but unfortunately the avocado toast wasn't. The bread was over toasted and it was hard to eat. I did told one of the staff that the bread was too hard to eat. She said thats the way supposed to be. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves at this cafe!!! Very spacious place, and the decor was very cute! Staff was nice, no issues with service. Of course, except some pricier items, because this is a specialized sort of cafe, focusing on a particular cuisine. With that being said, I absolutely loved everything that we ordered! My favorite (surprisingly) was the cinnamon roll, because it was so flaky and delicious and different from your typical cinnamon roll. The breakfast sandwich was so good! I wanted to give this place a try as it was recommended to me a while back and because it offered variations of tea. My husband and I wanted to do tea time and ordered some items from here however, half of the items I ordered were not available. The issue is, the Cafe waited until the items were picked up to be delivered to call me and tell me that the baklava tin wasn't available and that the original 10 piece praline milk chocolate wasn't available. They then took it upon themselves to switch out the baklave for 3 baklava bars and refund me $40 and change the chocolate from milk chocolate to a combination of milk /dark chocolate hazelnut. I do not eat dark chocolate, the pieces of chocolate are not even labeled showing which is dark and which is milk. I spoke with Sarah and she said the box of chocolates they replaced cost more than what I originally ordered as if that makes it ok. The same energy they had to call me AFTER the order they put together should have been the same energy they called me on BEFORE they let the delivery driver leave with my order. Why would you call me after the order left the premises instead of before so I could decide how I wanted to proceed? I felt it very inconsiderate and unprofessional to operate that way. This unfortunately will be my first and last time utilizing this establishment. I wanted to spend my money the way I saw fit and they decided to change my order without my permission. I should have only been charged for the tea and pastry since that was the only thing originally available in the first place . Yes Sarah said to call back and let her know if I'm happy with what she gave but I clearly told her on the phone I wasn't happy and that they should have called me before the items were put together. First time here. Tried a Croissant Sandwich which came with a side salad; also, a seasonal Pumpkin Turnover made with a pumpkin filling, and Jasmine Green Tea. I asked for cream on the side and didn't add sweetener, so it perfectly complimented the sweet turnover. There was a line but it moved quickly and it was easy to checkout with Apple Pay. My wifey finally got her crepe and we're only 2 minutes down the road! We've driven by here for 3 years and never tried but had a very good experience. Great atmosphere and service. This place is a wonderful brunch or lunch spot, I've been here a few times meeting, girlfriends for lunch. Everything is very tasty, they have fantastic pastries, sandwiches, quiches, and salads. Recently, I hosted a Galentine's party at my home, and the owner and chef made me miniature croissant sandwiches, ham and cheese, and turkey and cheese, and then these adorable mini vegetable and ham and vegetable-cheese quiches.
