I purchased the facial packet for $700 and was promised the moon. I was told that I would have a second facial analysis at the end to compare the results With my first one. I must admit that with the exception of one treatment, I was not happy with the process. All treatments were inconsistent and different from one another. Some included hands and arms and some just arms. One included neck and base of skull. The others did not. I have wasted some money in my life time but this was by far the biggest mistake and waste of money. Trying to sweet talk mature female citizens into buying a packet should be against the law. I witnessed on 3 different occasions when the manager used his honey dripping talks and gestures on older women. A simple look into his client history should show some proofs. read more

I've been coming to this place for a few years now. The service used to be good when the salon was in Walnut Creek. Now that they've moved to Orinda, not only is it a bit of a drive, but their service has gone downhill. I sat in the waiting room for over 20 minutes and was never acknowledged. I listened to the owner upsell some woman facial packages and not once did he bother to acknowledge me. There was no one at the front desk and I can't believe I wasted my Saturday sitting here! My appt at Le Caprice Med Spa was this past weekend and it was the WORST facial I ever had. First of all, my appt was reschedule the day before my treatment. When I arrived to the spa, I asked the front desk girl a series of questions, and she kept having to run to the back to ask her co-workers. I was initially scheduled for micro dermabrasion facial then I received another email saying I was rescheduled for an oxygen facial. As the treatment started, I asked series of questions regarding the facial, and what devices the tech was using. The aesthetician did not seem knowledgeable on the products or the procedure. As the facial was over, she hands me a mirror and I immediately noticed my skin was irritated on both sides of my face. When I asked her what that was, she told me I walked in with my skin that way. That was a completely false statement. When I told her that was not there, she told me it must be a pimple that was under the surface that was coming up. Again, not true statement. I asked to speak to a manager on the way out, and I was told he was not there. Then, I spoke to a front desk manager and she couldn't offer me any suggestions, answers or resolution. Do not buy a promotion from here. We had one for two people, they gave us an appointment 3 weeks in advance and cancelled one day of. I asked for another day we could go together (that was the whole point of getting two) and they gave me over a month away. Asked to keep the one that wasn't cancelled and later find out they gave it away but gave another time which wasn't even offered once they cancelled the first appointment? Came in after my sister recommended the hydro facial service had a great deal for the holidays. This was my first facial so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was greeted by Rebecca who did the facial. She told me that I had some acne but that she would still be able to do the treatment that I had signed up for. During the treatment she was really sweet and walked me through it but I couldn't help but feel she was very rough especially around my break out I had. Once she finished she apologized about not being able to do the full treatment because of my acne. (She assured me at the beginning that she could still do the service). She then put an anti bacterial ointment on my breakout to walk out of the salon in which I thought was odd. My face was still burning from the ointment and tbh my face looked more angry and inflamed than before. After the treatment she tried upselling me which was fine I expect it but she went from complimenting my skin during the service to calling it saggy to upsell me (keep in mind I'm only 30). It was tacky and rude. My skin has been burning and tingly since. Upon waking up the day after my service my skin is so inflamed and extremely dehydrated and tight. The redness on my face is something I've only experienced with a chemical burn. New years is this weekend and I'm so mad I tried something new especially when I had a break out but I thought I was in good hands. read more

Went here for the first time through a Facebook ad, otherwise, I would have never known about it. I got the microdermabrasion and it felt so good. My esthetician swept the wand over my ear, my neck, and chest. The products used were really good. I took the $399 special after my procedure that includes 2 microdermabrasion, vitamin C serum, a facial peel, and a skin analysis. It is worth it. The place is nice and clean. Came in for my first time after purchasing a special of IG. Staff was friendly and prompt. Natalia was very nice and thorough. I did see previous comments about wearing gloves during a facial, I agree I would like my services without the gloves for a better overall feeling. The reason I gave 4/5 stars was simply the noise. Staff outside the rooms were very loud which made the experience a bit distracting when you are wanting to relax. You know I'm one of those people who, when alone, am formulating a Yelp review while I'm still getting the service. I had signed up for a facial and cryotherapy through an offer on Instagram. Came all the way to Walnut Creek just for it so you know it better be worth it lol My review is really not so much on the aesthetician, as I thought Natalia was great. She explained everything and she wasn't pushy about sales and she didn't talk through the whole process so it was all very natural and comfortable. My only comment on her services would be her choice to wear vinyl gloves to do the facial and massage. I understand that we are all free to wear as much protection as we feel comfortable wearing, but please be aware that giving a massage or applying product with gloves is not the same as without gloves. It feels like there's more tugging, it doesn't feel as nice, and the warmth from the hands doesn't transfer. Something to think about. My review, as many others on this page have pointed out, is mainly on the facilities. On first glance it appears more like a cosmetic office than a spa. There's house music playing at the front, and the cement floors and ceilings mean that there's high echo in all the modern open space layout, allowing voices to carry everywhere. Not the best set up for a "spa", but easy clean up if you're a cosmetic office offering fillers and such (which I understand they do as well). I mean, the service was good and the facial was of good quality, but was it a relaxing spa experience? I've been to dental offices that were more relaxing. The facials are very good. I have tried the crystal frax and the T-Shock facials. The T-shock facial was an experience. You receive hot and cold temperatures to your face. The crystal frax facial gets warm. After receiving both, I prefer the crystal frax over the T-shock. I am looking to see a reduction of wrinkles in my neck area. read more

The break room is the same wall as the facial room and I could hear everyone's conversation. Went here for a hydra dermabrasion facial the other day, but they couldn't do the service because their machine wasn't working (ok fine) so then I agreed to do the regular microdermabrasion facial. I get facials very regularly so this is based on my personal opinion. The aesthetician that did my service was very nice, she explained a little bit about their products. They specialize in anti aging. The 3 stars are mainly for the actual place, I wasn't impressed with the ambience or overall value for money. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, it was like laying on cardboard. The robe/ towels were super thin. The facial itself was fine, nothing amazing. Don't plan to go back. read more
