So easy to come to Le Creuset and get a gift for family. Yes, not the cheapest gift but the family members I get stuff for are like sisters and a mother to me. I was greeted nicely by an older lady today and she was very helpful. She what I was looking for which was a round braiser with glass lid, in white and it was wrapped already! Also was looking for trivets since I bought huge Le Creuset pots for each of my cousins and I wanted them to use them instead of laying it on their marble counter tops or cabinets. They did not have them but had silicone ones in white which were fine. She rang me up and I was off my way. I never have a bad experience shopping at Le Creuset! Very rude manager (Diane) refused to accept an item for return that was brand new, unused and in its unopened original packaging within the return period. She accused us of baking and the pan and said there were crumbs and butter on it when there most definitely weren't. We calmly explained to her that it was in fact unused and that she was mistaken. Unfortunately she yelled at us and refused to show us her "findings" and was extremely rude. We were more than patient with her despite her complete lack of respect towards us. If you're local to the East Bay Area, this is really the Le Creuset Outlet to visit. While I liked the colors/shades example that's in the Gilroy outlet, this location had a better selection and had more places to shop around it. It's close to the Disney Store, Crate and Barrel, and the Zwilling outlets, whereas Gilroy has nothing else kitchen related around it. I picked up several items in the Pink Satin color (shell pink was mostly sold out as I've generally found) and I was checking out I was able to have a great conversation with the super friendly associate about the different pink colors. She seemed to be a true Le Creuset fan, which I love to see. The honey and I have remarked both times that we love the free tote bag we get buying from the Le Creuset Outlet stores, and were able to get a large bag with this purchase we love and will absolutely be using at the farmers market. All in all, we highly recommend this outlet and will definitely be back. read more

Excellent customer service is rare these days, and on Black Friday it's not something I dare to expect as stores are just trying to survive the madness. At mid day the store was clean, well merchandised, and well staffed, with employees properly zoned across the sales floor. I was immediately greeted and asked the right questions to help direct me to the Le Creuset that would best suit my needs. If you are retail knowledgeable, this is an incredible feat and kudos to the store manager. My sales person checked the stockroom to see if the Creuset of my dreams was in stock, while the store manager chatted with me and told me some fun facts about the product. I've been buying Le Creuset (from online) for years, but will make the trip here instead from how extraordinary the experience was. Store is OK with many Le Creuset cookware as one may expect. A good place to touch and feel the Le Creusets and check out the colors in person. You get a hello when you walk in and not much after that. There's lots of on sale items but I find their prices higher than actually shopping directly online, with free delivery and directly to your home. Beautiful upscale kitchen store. Products designed to buy once in a lifetime. Good prices but no returns. Beautiful store filled with colorful pots. The enamel is done in such a way to have shades vary throughout that IMHO makes this the most eye catching out of all similar products. Products are designed well. Very heavy and once in a lifetime sort of deal. I got a couple small things from here years ago and they are like new still even after lots of use. Interior of pots are enamel white which is good to monitor browning of butter for example. Staub is the competition and their interiors are black and not smooth - which can be better for other reasons - mainly they become seasoned over a long period of time and always look new. Good prices. Take a look at the enamel that you are buying if your picky. These are all one of a kind pieces to a certain degree. Make sure you know the color you want before you buy. The service and follow up is excellent. I ordered a paella pan for an auction item at a charity I run and they followed up before and after the pan was delivered to make sure I was aware of the delivery. They later called after I received the pan to make sure it was in excellent condition. Great store for top notch cookware and dedicated people working here. I just read other reviews and noticed many of the Elites gave this place 5 stars including me and the bad reviews came from complaining people who felt insulted. I just learned Le Creuset may make items just for the outlet stores and they may not be the same as the higher priced regular products. Worth the effort and drive over. I love that the shop doesn't really feel like an outlet store with items missing from display and in disarray. Everything appeared to be in order they seemed to have plenty of everything in stock. It's difficult for me to choose and commit to a color. I tend to select neutrals, navy, black, white, grey scale for everything (some exceptions to this) and turns out it's also true when I'm selecting cookwares. I chose the matte white oval 3 1/2 qt Dutch Oven and I think it looks sophisticated and elegant. If they carried black or French Grey that day I'd probably would have gone for that. Service was great and they even offer and allow you to leave your purchases at the store until you finish your shopping. Schlepping around heavy cast iron cookwares whilst shopping is certainly not ideal. Especially when it's warm out. (Livermore) I plan to build and add to my Le Creuset collection and see more visits here in the near future. read more

Based on previous reviews, it sounds like people are overall happy with the store selection and prices, but the customer service has been hit or miss. I came on Mother's day in 2016 and had a fantastic experience. The salesman helping me was very patient, friendly, eager to help/double checked information for me, but also gave me enough room to browse without breathing down my neck. On the Sunday I was there, I remember 2 male salesman were working the floor; there may have potentially been a female saleswoman as well (?) The promotions running when I was there were: -40% off all second quality items -35% off first quality cast iron skillets -35% off all stone ware -15% off revolution utensils (spatulas, etc) -40% (i think) off of dijon colored items - sign said this color was being discontinued -Sales tables in the back with assorted items (mostly items relating to tea). These items had colored stickers that indicates what the % off was. As I have already committed to the Cerise, or cherry red, color for Le Creuset, I of course was only looking for this color :) I ended up purchasing a 5.5 Qt second quality Dutch Oven from the Signature collection (newer line with great improvements such as higher temperature allowances and larger side handles), two 8oz heart cocettes, and 1 spoon rest. The salesman helping me wrapped everything neatly, and double checked the promotions with me before ringing everything up. Also, I must give him kudos for bringing out every single 5.5 qt cherry red dutch oven from the back so that I could inspect them all; he helped me inspect them too (he even recommended I check them all as he knew I was choosing from the second quality ones). Today was a great day for me. First time to visit the Le Creuset outlet. My wife pushed me to go in and look for something to buy. I was so hesitant because I don't want to spend a lot on cookwares although being a chef, I need to have great kitchen wares to use. I was just browsing until Sabas approached me and asked if I needed help. He was so gracious and welcoming. At first I said needed to buy a gift for someone because just in case I couldn't afford it , I wouldn't be embarrassed to leave. He was very accommodating, He explained everything in details and he wasn't pushy at all. He gave me options. I honestly don't plan on buying but because Sabas was so nice and knowledgeable, I got enticed to purchase some items. It started from one item to more than 5. Sabas, gave us stellar service and did more than what we expected of him to do. Very pleasant, all smiles and most of all very courteous! Price: Signature line first quality 7.25qt Dutch oven $200 (on sale) Some women love expensive designer purses. I love expensive designer kitchen things. I've been going back and forth on whether it's really worth it to buy Le Creuset, but after reading through tons of reviews by various experts on Dutch ovens, everyone seems to unanimously agree that this is the best one out there. A Le Creuset Dutch oven seems to be a buy it for life kind of item. It's much more durable than the other brands out there and is backed by a lifetime warranty. The main drawback of course is it's high price tag. There are a few ways to try to get around paying full price. Stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or HomeGoods carry the cheaper seconds line (pots with minor cosmetic defects that don't impair function), you can try to wait for a sale at William Sonoma or Sur La Table, or you can swing by this outlet store. We of course opted for the third option when we saw that they were hosting an after Christmas sale. The store itself is well organized and the staff were very helpful, especially Chris. Chris explained the differences between the different lines to us. The outlet store carries the Le Creuset Classic line. This is the older model. It's not the same one that's in William Sonoma, but it's still an excellent pot. Stores like William Sonoma currently sell the newer Signature line. The Signature pots come with handles that are 45% larger (nice when you have to wear oven mitts while holding the handles), a tighter fitting lid, a lid knob that can withstand up to 500 degrees (Classic can do around 380 degrees), and a stronger enamel. The Classic seems to just be made for the outlet stores now. If you plan on baking at high temps with the lid on, you can also just buy a replacement stainless steel knob in store to get the best of both worlds. The great thing about the Classic though is that it's 30% cheaper. We happened to luck out today because there were a few pots from the Signature line in store in a discontinued seasonal color that were going for the same price as the Classics. Chris was very helpful in letting us know about them, and then hunting down the last few remaining ones for us. On top of getting the outlet 30% off, we also got the after Christmas sale 25% off. In short, I'm pretty happy with my new pot. $200 is still pretty pricey, but given that a Signature 7.25 quart oven is $380 outside of the outlet, I'm decently satisfied. This store is worth a visit if you want enameled cast iron. I've seen their stoneware items at lower prices in other stores, even with today's sale though. They will also hold your newly purchased items while you shop so that you don't have to lug around your heavy new pot. read more

I fell in love with Le Creuset once I laid my eyes upon their products years ago, and have since been buying little things here and there, to add to my little collection. I came here recently to purchase a tea kettle. I was done with my cheaper brand I bought mainly for looks, and figured it was about time to buy something with looks and quality, and that will hopefully last me a lifetime. The service I received from the lady helping me was stellar! Absolutely friendly and incredibly helpful. I ended up getting the larger Yellow tea kettle in enamel. It 's beautiful and I love the bright cheerful color, matches some other kitchenware in our home. I also bought a cute little Caribbean blue tea spoon rest and an array of chopstick holders for my honey. And it was all 35% off!! Woo hoo! Don't try to return anything from this company. I bought a replacement lid direct from Le Creuset. It did not fit my frying pan. Le Creuset does not answer their phones. You cannot obtain an RMA because you can only obtain one over the phone. They do not respond to feedback that their process is broken. The item arrived without the promised return form. The instructions they provide on their site wrt to returns is wrong. They hung up on me before answering my call (after waiting a long time). They do not respond to emails. I bought this lid thinking it would fit my model #0215 frying pan. It does not, and I cannot either exchange it for one that fits or simply return it for my $50 back. Fifty bucks is a lot for a lid, but I suppose you are paying for that snobbiness that the French are famous for. I sure learned my lesson not to ever buy anything from this company again. read more

After reviewing the receipt, the manager did not return the amount but instead made another purchase on my credit card. Horrible customer service!!! I was the shopping with my friend very excited as it was my first time there. The manager on the floor(a gentleman) seemed knowledgeable when we asked questions, however when my friend went to pay for her merchandise, the lady, with the European accent, at the register gave us a unfriendly look, and demanded the gentleman on the floor ring us up. He demanded she do it and she said "No!" This went on back-and-forth a couple of times, when finally she decided to ring us up, we asked who was the manager, and he said, "I am, I don't know why she's acting like that." And, then he walked into a room behind the cash register and closed the door. The whole situation left us very uncomfortable and confused, so my friend said she would think about coming back and buying the items, and left her $85 worth of merchandise there. These people were very unprofessional and never even apologized for their behavior. If you want to be treated rude you can shop there, I on the other hand will take my business elsewhere. Never got to test the product, and I never will, they can keep it. Maybe if we would've had a bigger order worth more money they would've treated us nicer , that's how I felt. I've been in this store a couple times and the workers were great but went in yesterday and didn't have one worker ask if I needed any help. The two workers had their heads glued to their phones and didn't ask me if I needed any help and actually didn't look up once from their phones. I was shocked and it became comical to the point I had to document it with a photo. Sad what the world is coming to when people on the 'job' are so addicted to their phones they can't offer help or even do their 'job'. Drove for an hour and a half to return an item. I was told I could get a store credit when I spoke to someone on the phone since it was past 45 days. When I got there I was told the item could not be returned because that the item looked like it was used and that I needed to come back to talk to the Manager. I told her it was never used. I asked what would the Manager be looking into if I come back and try to get a refund? The sales person told me she doesn't know but that she just did not want to get in trouble.
