Dade city has a ton of great restaurants but this one stands out as one of the best. It was so hard to choose one entree because I wanted to try at least three. Everything was prepared perfectly. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It has a great outdoor dining option that is perfect for date night.

Wonderful! Just off Main Street in quaint Dade City, we discovered Le Garden Bistro. Meal started with warmed bread and truffle butter. Atmosphere is simple and cozy, with the chef just steps away in the kitchen. Outside there is a spacious patio under umbrellas surrounded by iron gate, living up to its French bistro influence. The half chicken entree was paired with roasted brussel sprouts and mashed potato. The sprouts were overdone and greasy (reason for 4.5 stars) but the chicken and mashed were delicious. Not to be outdone was Michael, our server. He was attentive and personable, and along with the food, a reason to return.

We loved having lunch here recently and decided to come back to try dinner. The service once again was outstanding. The atmosphere is very quaint and romantic. It's the perfect spot for a date night! You will hear French music playing softly which is a nice touch. The bread with garlic spread is so good. The bread was fresh, hot and soft. My husband ordered the ribeye which was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and full of flavor. I had the chicken which was seasoned and bursting with delicious flavors. The cream sauce was amazing. The mashed potato's and Brussels sprouts complimented the chicken so well. Crème brûlée was the best way to end another wonderful dining experience. If you haven't tried this restaurant, you are missing out!

My husband and son were at a haunted house and I really wanted to have dinner somewhere nice. Despite not having nice clothes on this trip, they allowed me to sit and have dinner. The scallops were the best I've ever had; I would return for those again if I could! They were out of mussels, but I wanted to try those. The crispy duck breast was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce and I choose mashed potatoes. I got my husband the lamb Togo and he enjoyed every bite! The bread with truffle butter was amazing!! This place was just so wonderful. The service was fantastic from start to finish and I appreciated every small touch. Please eat here!

Finally got to try this little gem. It's attached to the Wine Library and it's how I noticed this spot. The inside is very cute and gives off French vibes. We were seated quickly on a Saturday. However, I did not like that we were sat in the middle of the restaurant , felt like the center of attention lol but I was just happy to be there so I didn't make a fuss. I love that they serve bread before while you wait for your food, as I was starving that day and the bread was great to hold me over. To start, my bf and I ordered the French onion soup and it was delicious! I also ordered a glass of wine. Was a bit surprised they didn't offer wines from the wine library and I know that they serve their food on the other side. Who knows, maybe I just had to ask, but the menu did not have their options. For dinner I ordered the beef Wellington and my bf ordered the half chicken. Both had great flavor, however they were both super heavy on the salt. Still, it was so good I ate whole meal. The presentation of the beef Wellington was beautiful and I loved the pastry it was wrapped in. Would love it if more options were added to the menu. I do want to try their pan seared snapper, as I saw it next to me and it also looked amazing.

Walked in to a lovely decorated restaurant, greeted by Dulce. We were seated by the window with clear view of downtown Dade City courthouse. Service with a smile, knowledgeable of menu and drinks. Started with drinks, water always filled. Started with Cesar salad and mussels no complaints. Crispy Duck cooked to perfection and Red Snapper tasted flavored. It's country fine dinning at its best. Music was just right not too loud. In all we will be back, I recommend people try this Elegant Restaurant. Call to make a reservation, street parking.

Casual dining with a fine dining feel. Outstanding service, great food, dine inside or outside on the patio in the shadow of the County Courthouse. Walk the downtown streets, visit antique shops, hop to a brewery or bakery.

Good food, friendly staff. It was lovely to sit outside

Sat outdoors and enjoyed our lunch. Good food, onion soup was a bit on the salty side. Bread was amazing. Burger was tasty. Staff was friendly but busy with inside customers. Lovely spot for leisurely lunch we will be back

First off, let me just say I'm embarrassed that I live in Dade City and Friday was our first time trying out Le Garden Bistro. Secondly, if you're reading this and are trying to decide if you're going here, please, just go here. I didn't take a picture of the menu and for whatever reason the site is down so I'll be a little generic on the food we ordered but it should suffice. Our server was Dulce and she did a fantastic job of recommending wines and suggested a few different things for the entrée. We opted for a bottle of Chardonnay from France after a sample of two Chardonnays were provided. As for the food, we ordered a mussels appetizer, a grouper over rice and a seafood tagliatelle with a lobster saffron sauce. Despite being completely satisfied, I had to see if the dessert delivered the same excellence as the meal. Spoiler; it did. It was a bread pudding with a caramel sauce. Here's what I feel needs stated. There were several opportunities for common culinary missteps; the cream sauce could've been too salty, or the pasta sauce broken and oily, the grouper could've been overcooked slightly, etc. The ONLY thing I'd have a suggestion for is the butter foils that were served alongside the table bread was refrigerated instead of room temp. However I insisted that we keep the remaining cream sauce from the mussels, so I didnt use/want any butter. But had I wanted to, it would've been, well you know what that's like. Again, SHAME on me for not trying this sooner. I believe it's the best culinary experience you can have in Dade City and surrounding areas. Please, if you've never been, just go. If you HAVE been, please take a moment to let everyone know how it was on Google /Facebook /Yelp etc. It's that good. Enjoy Le Garden Bistro with the utmost confidence.

Parking is available on the side of the restaurant, although the 1 available spot had an employee squatting down cutting rosemary from a bush. We waited several minutes to give the employee time to finish, but he never acknowledged us or offered to move for a moment. Eventually parked elsewhere, but was a bit concerned about the rosemary that might b in r dish. Love they grow their own herbs, but this rosemary is next to all the car exhaust and where someone might dump their leftover drink or let their dog go potty. Eek. A raised planter or gated area for herbs would b better. Inside, decor is ok but could use some elevating to make it more inviting and upscale. Loved the live music - had a duo playing jazz. There's also a bar available if u prefer that to table dining as well a an outdoor patio. We chose inside seating at a table. It's sort of set-up like an old house so we were in the back room with maybe 4 other tables. Server was not very personable, but fine. Ordered Caesar salad, duck risotto, rack of lamb and souffle. All was okay, not great but not bad. Appreciated that the meats were not gamey so seemed of good quality. Cook was as requested. Presentation was nice. Flavor was lacking on both meats as well as the risotto and couscous. Caesar was very basic and average but appreciated lettuce was fresh. All food was delivered surprisingly quickly. Indicated r interest in souffle when ordering and was initially told it would b blueberry caramel. He then returned to tell us that's incorrect - it's strawberry pineapple. However, the server never put in the souffle order so we ordered the strawberry pineapple souffle after finishing r meals (and sitting with empty dishes in front of us for awhile) while people kept walking past us. Not a problem. It arrived and wasn't actually the correct flavor. We weren't picky so we ate it but he never addressed it, apologized, asked if that was okay. It was just a bit odd. Again, everything was fine, but we won't b returning.

We made reservations on Open Table for our party on Tuesday night. When walking in, the interior is mainly red and black coded with French paintings and spirits on display. We got to meet one of the owners at the hostess stand and she spoke with us briefly and was very nice. They were not a lot of people here so it was kind of quiet with some light background music. My family glanced over the menu and ordered some appetizers like the crab stuffed shrimp and the escargot. The waiter was an older gentleman and could've been more friendlier or attentive to our table. We were offered bread which was soft and good. The apps came out and were just ok. The shrimp was pretty plump and fresh tasting, where as the escargot were ok. They were chewy but very overpowered by the garlic butter. We waited for at least another 25 - 30 minutes before our dinner came out. Our waiter did not inform us of any updates of our food, but we watched him laugh and talk with other tables in the dining room. As we got our food, he did not ask if we needed anything or everything was ok. My dad's beef bourguignon was very dry and the sauce had a burnt taste to it. My mom's grouper, she said it was good but the lemon sauce it came with was salty. My swordfish was dry and overcooked. I did like the fingerling potatoes as they were cooked perfectly and the sauce on the plate was good as well. When the waiter finally came to check in, my mom mentioned she was not a fan of the sauce on the dish and he just said oh ok and walked away. My dad mentioned it was my mom's birthday in hopes that the waiter would make up for his terrible service and food mishaps and he just said happy birthday. We were very disappointed overall as this is has a classy vibe and the prices are priced pretty high for the quality of food that we received.

We waited in line to order, and everything came out to about $25, which honestly isn't bad. We sat down and waited a while for our pastries. We noticed people who ordered way after us receiving their food before we did. I eventually had to get up and ask the cashier when we would receive our order. She brushed me off and said she would work on it now. Instead of grabbing the premade almond croissant and mango pastry, which were less than five feet away from her, she continued handing orders to other tables that had ordered way after us. The mango pastry was really good and sweet, but the almond croissant was super dry. The strawberry matcha was honestly mid and had clumps of matcha in it. Overall, I felt like it was overpriced for what it was. Honestly, Starbucks would have been better. The ambiance is giving "wannabe French spot." Personally, I prefer Paris Baguette because of the quality and service. And at least the AC works there.
