    Farmhouse Eggs
    Ploy N.

Airport food so don't expect much from the food or the service. The Farmhouse Eggs were edible, I supposed, but super oily. Baguette slices were surprisingly tasty.

After snacking on some chips, I tried to take my first bite.

After an amazing week of wonderful deli, street and counter food, my NYC trip will be capped off by one of the worst sandwiches I have ever ordered. In a city with a deep culinary richness, which New Yorkers are deservedly proud of, the Port should be ashamed of this $20 pile of stale bread, limp tomato and dry chicken. I am no food snob by any means and most likely would not have reviewed this, but the cost/quality ratio pushed me over the edge. Historically I have not review food venues because a random off service night or imbalanced recipe can occur. Proprietors and staff should not be punished for these types of occurrences. This is different - this is failure by design. To be clear, my service was good, as was the service at tables around me. My issue is only with the quality and price of the food. The staff did their best with the tools they had. Now that this realtime review is over, I can get back to my $14.50 20oz Bud Light. It may be expensive, but at least it is refreshing as expected. Cheers. Jeff

Chicken patty from Costco, but much more expensive

Good service; terrible food. However, we we're stuck with a three hour delay, and this was better than M&Ms for dinner. The chicken was 3 stars on the 1 star nachos Note: the the nachos featured queso, not melted cheese. Ugh The chicken sandwich was 3 stars. If you're a chicken patty hater, it's 2 stars. The chips that came with the sandwich ranked 0 stars--truly the worst fresh chips we've ever sampled. I love grease, and these dead things were bland and tasteless. Pity. The margaritas were good, but they are $22 per margarita. Be warned.

Eh not great...even for airport food. Drinks were okay but overpriced. Salad tasted like subway lettuce. Olives tasted odd. Spinach & artichoke dip wasnt bad but the chips were somewhat stale. Service was good however. Theres other places around to try for food, but service/drinks are good here.

We stumbled upon Vino Volo after looking for a bar with good beer selection. Apparently, that doesn't exist, so we gave this place a try with no expectations. First, we were gonna get wine by glass, but it doesn't make sense to pay for 3 glasses of wine for the price of a bottle. Even though they seem to have a generous pour here. We got a bottle of Dolcetto, which is a dry red wine with a hint of black cherry and cinnamon from Piedmont area in Italy for $40. We accompanied our wine with two dishes, 5-Piece Salmon Rolls and Brisket Sandwich. Both of them were great. I love those cornichons and caper berries! Why 3 stars then? Well, first of all, the bartender who was supposed to take care of us ended his shift at 4, so nobody paid attention to us afterwards. We were never asked how the food or wine was. Water had never been offered. No 'Thank You' was uttered when we left. Great experience, imho.

Looking over the menu, I saw a brunch of good choice both by the glass and server as flights. I decides to start with a glass of red wine and then ended up ordering a flights. What I specifically loved about this place Is the factura that they included information cards about each wine that included the taste profile as well as a detailed description. I also ended up ordering the cheese plate which was delicious!!!! The bartender was also very nice enough to pour my a glass of sparkling White that he suggested paired well with my plate. He was right because I ended up ordering another glass of that white wine. I spent a little over $50 bucks for the plate and the 2 glasses of wine, along with the wine flight. Definitely worth it and will be coming back if I fly out of this terminal again!

I like being able to come in, find a comfortable seat, charge my devices, grab something to eat, and have a drink without sitting in the middle of all the gate traffic. The food selection is usually decent with enough hot and cold options to hold me over until my flight, and the bar service has always been good. It feels modern and spacious, and the outdoor Sky Deck overlooking the airfield is such a nice touch when the weather cooperates. My only real complaint is the crowd. Depending on the time of day, the lounge can get packed, which kind of defeats the purpose of going into a lounge to get away from the airport chaos. When it's not overly crowded, though, it's a completely different experience. The staff is friendly, the space is comfortable, and it's still where I'd rather spend my time before a Delta flight out of JFK.

Delta has a lot of traffic out of this terminal, thus opened a second (smaller) Sky Club in Concourse A in 2023. This one in Concourse B (capacity of 500 people) is located near Gate B31, and was convenient for a very early morning visit shortly after arriving into NY from LA on a red-eye flight. My wife and I gain entry into Sky Clubs via our AMEX Delta Reserve Card, which provides 15 complementary visits per year. The Sky Club allows entry at the point of arrival, whereas most other lounges is only for point of departure and any layovers. Since we had already used the lounge at LAX the previous night, we knew this additional visit wouldn't count against our cap, so decided to stop in for breakfast. It was very close to our arrival gate (though on the second floor, requiring taking an escalator or elevator), and had already opened at 05:00 by the time we entered (05:20). There were already quite a few people inside, with the breakfast buffet stocked. Found some nice seating with a view of the concourse. I tried some scrambled eggs, herb baked baby potatoes, pork sausage...ended up being a decent breakfast. My wife took advantage of the shower facilities, making an immediately fulfilled reservation since there was no wait. My wife added to her celebrity sightings by meeting Nile Rodgers in line at the breakfast buffet. She said he was a super nice man, willing to talk a bit with her as they progressed, and being appreciative that she was a fan.

This was the closest dining establishment that served alcohol by our gate, so we stopped by. It is pretty small and cramped, but we managed to find two seats along the window facing the planes. It was hard to fit in the area as people tend to put bags on seats, etc. Plus the walkway to the kitchen is right there so you feel like you are in the way. Food wise, I liked my salad. Could have done without the chips as I really just wanted greens, veggies, and protein. For $26, it was obviously on the smaller side, but hey, it's an airport resto. My drink was all right. Kinda weak in the liquor and spice department, but fine for sipping. My friend seemed to enjoy his food and cocktail. I wish there were more options in this area of the airport.
