When I visit Fort Lauderdale, it is not for the food. It is strictly to decompress in an environment and climate I prefer to be in. Food is not the main factor of my visit and since I'm a creature of habit, I tend to stick with what I know. What I know for sure, is that I like the menu, the staff, and the atmosphere. Ive eaten here for multiple meals. I can attest the pizza is amazing, as is the Italian sandwich, the breakfast bagel sandwich needs to be toasted but it is good. The coffee and pastries are good as well. I like to enjoy a meal as my looking at the water and this provides that. It's a little pricey, which is to be expected, but it's not unbearable. read more

Lovely little cafe!! It's inside the Beach House Hilton. We picked up a bottle of wine to take back to the room. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The view of the ocean is amazing. We told the server it was our anniversary and she was genuinely interested in how we met. We will be stopping back tomorrow to pick up some coffee before we head back to work. read more

Solid stop for a quick breakfast while walking the beachfront. Classic Hilton staff - dressed with logo gear and courteous to all. Service was efficient and accurate. Bagels, muffins, fruit, other baked goods in a glass counter. Massive cooler full of beverages. Coffees and teas galore. Beach facing patio and good food? Yes! Corporate lobby feel? Also, yes. This is the little cafe located in the Hilton. There is also roadside access and an outdoor patio. Le Marche offers moderately priced breakfast sandwiches, lunch options, pizza, ice cream, and various refrigerated alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They also have an assortment if Starbucks drinks! It is counter service, but the food is made fresh to order. Pretty quick preparation and definitely one of the more reasonable options I encountered during my stay. I visited multiple times for the breakfast sandwich! read more

It seems that most of the reviews are pretty old. We spent 3 nights at the Hilton and grabbed breakfast here every morning. Service was very cordial and food was good. The avocado toast was very good actually. Of course it is a bit pricey ($8 for a Grande latte), but the Starbucks down the street is either the same or more expensive. Had breakfast this morning. A chocolate croissant and breakfast sandwich. Tried to order a fried egg but were told the eggs were premade. Ok so we'll take that. We ordered food here a couple times during our stay at the Hilton Resort. We had a sit-down dinner and the Mediterranean flatbread was very good. You can order any of the food for carry-out as well. The prepackaged salads and snack trays are good and come in handy for a quick meal. My biggest complaint is that everything is expensive. A hot dog here cost $9. The service is also a little slow, especially if you're hungry it can feel like a while before you get your food. read more

After a terrible experience at Bubba Gump we stopped by here to get something quick to eat before heading back to our hotel. The food, although tasty and seemingly fresh, left me feeling sick. On top of that the people working here can't seem to communicate with each other. So the most confusing thing about this place is the people working behind the counter. I didn't get any of their names, but the white lady who was working the cash register seemed to be angry at the black lady making pizzas, for not calling out customer's names and just seeming very lackadaisical about her job. On the other hand, some guy walked in and seemed to be very fond of the lady working the pizza oven, and in general the other lady seemed kind of like she was having a bad day. None of this directly effected me to my knowledge, but who knows. We ordered a margherita pizza. It tasted great and was not falling apart or overly mushy. It was my ideal type of pizza and everything would have been great, if not for the fact that I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. The pricing is reasonable as well, and like I said everything was delicious, but I can't overlook the food poisoning. That's just unacceptable for any place that sells food. I still think they deserve 3 stars because that might have just been a freak incident. The problem with that is that they are in an area of Fort Lauderdale that sees many tourists and most people won't give them a second chance if something like this happens. I'm in that boat because I wouldn't want to, but also because as a tourist I didn't have the opportunity since we were leaving the next morning. DULL!!! How a place can give itself a french sounding name AND add the term "Gourmet" next to it, yet sell nothing more than chips and a few options of "blah-tasting" pastries is beyond me. This place is nothing more than a Sundry store at a hotel. Yes- they serve Starbucks coffee. Note that Starbucks is NOT French or European. Nor are the overpriced candy bars, gum and bags of chips that proliferate this venue. My advice-- PASS!!! If you are staying at the hotel and need something, just walk a block down to the CVS for the SAME items at half the cost. Honestly the 2.5 stars this joke of a place got is very generous. Came here for Gelato and after the woman said yes that they could split two flavors in a small, a very unfriendly woman overhead and chimed in no so that got vetoed. It was $6 for this tiny scoop in the picture and it tasted freezer burned and not like Gelato. In short this place is an insane rip off and the ice cream sucks. It's a typical Florida place with terrible service. If you want ice cream go to Ben and Jerry's or Yo Mama's down the street where the ice cream is good and the portion isn't laughable. read more

At first I thought it was a Starbucks based on the gratuitous use of the Starbucks name and logos; but they only brew Starbucks here. The coffee is pretty good but it sits in a thermos so the quality varies quite a bit. Some days it tasted stale, some days it was great. They also offer a line of sandwiches, pastries, and salads which range in quality from mediocre to good. Pricing is way over the top, for example, $9 for a small fruit salad, but hey, it's located in a hotel so it understandable that they gouge a bit. Five stars for convenience if you're staying in this hotel. Three stars for the coffee and food. One star for the pricing. read more

If you stay at the Hilton hotel and have continental breakfast included you can grab your take away breakfast here for the same vouchers. Convenient if you want to bring a breakfast bag to the beach or want breakfast in bed (make sure your partner pucks it up). You get hot and cold beverage (the Kennesaw juice is way better than the Minute maid), grilled bagel w spread/ham, and yoghurt (w granola) or a fruit. Pretty decent. Not a "real" Starbucks even if it easy to get that impression. It is as pricey as Starbucks. It is convenient for hotel guest that don't want to walk 10 blocks to CVS or other cheaper eatery. But I probably wouldn't walk 10 blicks to get here. read more

The menu literally has some of the same items listed twice which is weird, but more annoyingly they don't seem to have any of the menu items on hand. They were out of the following: croissants , all bagels except "everything", bacon and turkey. So the only options were English muffins and everything bagels with ham. A gem! Honestly! You'd think it's a little deli, which yes, it has deli features, but honestly one of our best dining experiences on our trip! The staff is AMAZING! Yagmur was our server both nights in a row and she went above and beyond. Our first night we tried the chicken, smash burger and fish. As a couple we actually finished all 3 because they were that good. Our 2nd night we did cheese and meat board and pizzas. Equally great! I glanced over at a few tables down and Tish (I think that's her name) literally made a new cupcake topping for a little girl who was disappointed that s'mores flavored dessert was out. So Tish made her a s'mores cupcake! Like, who does that in service industry anymore? When we left, the cooks behind the counter said goodbye and waved. Truly a gem. Right on the corner under the Hilton. If staying in Hilton often, this gives you something beside the usual Hilton continental. Staff the morning of our visit offered any pastry, breakfast sandwich, yogurt.. and refilled our coffees from the hotel. They also have gelato, nice packaged salads, sandwiches, salami and cheese snacks, fruit, lots of bottled drinks, cookies, candy and chips. They call themselves "gourmet" -- yet they serve food on cheap styrofoam plates, and you have to serve the coffee yourself. Definitely a hotel coffee shop feel, with the high prices to match (small drip coffee, $3). The next day, I found cheaper and better coffee at the Starbucks inside the Westin, just a few blocks south at Seville Street. Management needs to seriously wake up. Walked in to order a smoothie, asked the girl what was in their smoothies since I'm lactose and her answer was seriously lacking. She didn't really know. I inquire about the quiche of the day. Neither girl knew what the quiche of the day was. I order both anyway. How you can mess up a quiche and a smoothie I'm not sure, but they were both terrible. The smoothie had some kind of sickly sweet syrup added so it tasted like I was drinking blended up fruit loops. A good smoothie doesn't need anything but fruit and (for me, almond milk and a banana). The quiche tasted like cardboard and had no flavor and the texture was very plastic-y. Obviously wasn't made in house. I didn't even eat it. I wanted to ask for a refund and return everything but I figured it would turn into a big production I didn't have time for. Stick with coffee and tea here. I'd hope those things would be a lot more difficult to mess up. read more
