It is located in the empty mall but I like having one here and I have never had issues with the employees or anything else. Its a great place to enjoy a movie during the week without it being super packed but also when its a big movie its a typical packed theater but again its fairly clean and its nice to have various exits out of the theater to either the mall or parking lot!

People at the actual theater have zero authority to help you (or if they do, they don't do anything to help you with those older cards). To be fair, one of the guys at this location was helpful to us when buying tickets . Actually suggested buying tickets to the cheaper screening but we wanted to try the Dolby one. The theater is a little dated, seats are not as favorable for couples as they are for singles. Free parking in the parking garage or outside lot. The parking garage is a bit of a distance if you are used to parking close to a door. We're spending more time at the Beach Cities theater. [Theater]: Comfortable reclining seats and a full bar. [Conclusion]: I like this AMC much better than AMC Rolling Hills 20 as the standard tickets at AMC Rolling Hills 20 are not recline seats. The seats were way too close together, and the person next to us had belongings spread into the shared space, making it very difficult to get in and out of our seats comfortably. Because of how uncomfortable the situation was, we decided to leave during the previews before the movie even started. We politely explained the issue to the manager and asked if we could either move to different seats -- even less expensive ones -- or receive some type of accommodation such as passes for another movie. Unfortunately, the manager refused to help in any way and would not issue a refund, exchange, or even offer courtesy tickets. For a theater that markets itself as a luxury experience and charges premium prices, I expected much better customer service. Other theaters like AMC are usually much more understanding and willing to work with customers when issues arise. Instead, we left feeling frustrated after paying for a movie we never got to watch. Sadly, this experience completely turned us off from coming back.
